Loyal members of the Imperial Inquisition,

It has come to the Grand Inquisitors attention that the 'assets' of disgraced (and dead) Moff Geir Ambros have been targeted by the Shadow Conclave. Whatever remains of Ambros 'estate' belong to the Empire and we cannot abide interlopers freely waltzing across Imperial worlds to pilfer Imperial property. The Inquisition will be dispatched to Serenno to handle this affront to Imperial power. Templars, Inquisitors, and Priests, are free to stop this molestation. The thread can be found here. The Grand Inquisitor will reward those who burn out the presence of these misguided heretics.

@Valen Pelora So we can go into their ask thread? Just curious.

It shouldn't be an Ask thread since it is in Sith Space and they are there as part of the Shadow Conclave. You can PM them first (as to not cause any trouble), but I will be discussing this with both of them and the Sith Leadership.

It is metagaming to know specifically that the Shadow Conclave is involved, since they take utmost care to ensure their identity is hidden and their affiliation is not known (especially since they do not wear any insignias on their gear). Secondly, if the Sith were going to acquire Ambros' assets, they would have logically done so before (or during) the timeskip - the only reason why it's being brought up now is because we made a thread about it. While I agree in retrospect that it should be an Open, if the Sith leadership is adamant that Geir's assets would have been re-absorbed, then I am highly considering simply dropping the thread.

Geir's asset likely would have been reabsorbed as mentioned here. However, if the thread goes forward it should be an Open and members of the Inquisition should be free to join. Their IC reasons for being there may very.

I see, I did not know that thread existed. The assets would have been claimed at that point - the thread we posted should be voided, that was my mistake for not finding out all the details. However, if the situation comes up again in the future where you automatically know the Shadow Conclave is involved without any IC reason for knowing it was them, you need to edit your initial post to reflect this (i.e., they would just appear to be random mercs or thieves).

We will note the thread is being voided.

Quick question, if I wanted Duke Shiro Blagden (not his Conclave persona Huginn) to purchase Geir's property after it was stripped of its assets, would that need to be an Open thread?

As Ambros' property is described as his own personal state and holds a vast library..I think it'll be highly unlikely the estate will still exist in its old form.

It might be fragmentized and used as Legion training grounds for its unspoiled nature and unknown presence of hostile droids.

EDIT: Acquiring such lands within the empire, knowing who Geir was and that all the Intelligence is still unaccounted for, would put red flags all over the map.

That is something you would have to discuss with Malon. The estate was listed as covering what amounts to 2.2 Million Acres, that is massive. I'm going to echo everything @Ecclessey said.

Eh, my character isn't the overly religious type of guy. I'll pass.

We touched on some of what was at Geir's Estates before in a previous Mission Pack I did. Mainly it was just to retrieve three items. Whatever else was there we never got into.
