[Interest Check] Order of Revan

Of course playing to much KOTOR and TOR has converted me to a true Revanite myself. So I wanted to see if there would be any people interested in a Revanite/Order of Revan faction. This would be an open faction, mainly based around Force-Sensitive's and Dark Side ones at that believe that there is more to the force than just the Dark Side. But of course more liberal Jedi and Grey Jedi would be welcome.

Anyone interested?

Would a warrior who was rejected because he was deemed to be to weak in the force be acceptable?

Defo. Everyone doesn't have to be force-sensitive. Not all of Revan's followers used the force, so not all members of the order need to. They only need to be powerful in their own right.

Cool, I invented this guy years ago but never got the chance to use him. In essence he was a child rejected by the jedi who ended up becoming a soldier. He was extremely young when he worked up the ranks helped along by speed and strength beyond any normal humans ability and a sixth sense for danger.
His force power is effectively limited to passive skills only, maybe more if somebody takes the time to train him.

Cool well my plan is to use Braden as the leader and work from the inside of the order. So I could have him do a little bit of training for him.

Works for me, in this ERA no rules prevent you from working with non order members like during the Old Republic. Have to adjust his sheet to fit this setting.

Sounds interesting. What kind of missions would the Order of Revan do? What would it's relations to the other factions be?

Sheet finished, I gave him a selection of force abilities that fit his life experiences all at novice level but he has no idea that they are force abilities and is convinced that he is not force capable after his rejection by the Jedi.

@Aleksandr At first missions will be to gain resources and men, my plan is to set up the Faction base on Dromund Kaas. So we would need basic resources and some sort of defences as we of course would not be welcome by other factions. Other missions would be gaining both Jedi and Sith artefacts to advance their knowledge in the force.

They would not be openly hostile to the Jedi and Sith, mainly wanting to convert them to their ways however both are probably going to be Anti-Revanite due to it preaching both sides of the force. We would potentially be more hostile to the Rebels depending on the actions they take as like Revan they would prefer a stronger united galaxy than a fractured one. We would take an aggressive stance with the Hutts as they breed and expand on suffering of others. Mando's again like the Rebels would be welcome as strong fighters as long as they didn't hurt the galaxy as a whole. And the Sith Imperium we would try to avoid direct conflict and instead look to usurp power, keeping as much of the empire and the galaxy as intact as possible. So lots of potential to work with every faction.

Cool, hopefully one of our converts will know the healing trance and the force weapon abilities :). I like them but they're a bit advanced for my character to have started knowing.

For anyone who wants a little more info on what The Order. Here is a little write up i gave to caine.

Basic's of it is that they seek order in the galaxy. By uniting both the Jedi and Sith under the orders belief that the force is a whole and not two sides. By uniting both the Jedi and Sith the endless wars would cease. In terms of none force users it will create a government of order not persuaded by Jedi's belief in the light or the Sith's desire for more power in the dark.

Pretty much anyone who wishes to create discord in the galaxy is our enemy, those seeking to keep it together our are friends.

Hello I am completely new to the site and while looking for factions to join and being the Revenite i am was immediately attracted to the order of Revan. And I am very keen to join the order though i have yet to create a characte yet. I am planning to create a non-force sensitive kaleesh specializing in dual blaser-vibroblade and was hoping he start off in the order

@TyruleMccoy this is only the interest thread so hasn't been used since we started. We have had a lot of people go quiet in the faction and I myself have not been very active due to trying to move house. We do have a few threads running at the moment, but at the moment are doing alot of planning for the new timeline.

I would rather not have an order based around a 'Legends' character that's never been canon, in a timeline coming up that has a stronger focus on canon. Revan is just a circle-jerk player character everyone fascinates over because of KOTOR 1. :P

You do realize that there have been plans to bring Revan into canon, right? Just because he's not canon yet does not mean he never will be.

Star Wars 1313 is also rumored to be in development. However, I doubt the Administration will plan on bringing anything major from there.

The point i'm making is that because something may happen doesn't mean it will happen, and it's much safer to assume something won't happen than that something will.

I do see your point, but there have been attempts that were later removed because the producers felt his use at the time was unneeded.
