T H E - J E N S A A R A I - O R D E R

'' To restrain one's emotion is to stagnate'
' To succumb to one's emotion is to anarchize'
' To be in tune with one's emotions is to harmonize'

Intent: The Jensaarai are force users who do not prescribe to the concept of becoming immersed in emotion to the point where it controls the sith's ideology. Emotions should be allowed freely without recourse, but not to the brink of anarchy. With this faction, I am hoping to represent a 'Mace Windu' in which the tradition uses a more aggressive approach to the force and morality, teetering on the edge of darkness but not plunging in.

creating a faction is a big undertaking. it takes a lot of dedication. so no matter what a faction is about you'll want to consider making sure you're up to the task. indie factions often implode because the leadership are unable or unwilling to complete these demanding tasks. If you think you're willing to take on these demands so be it.

As for the jensaarai and the "there is no light or dar" he site has acknowedged for the most part that there is a light and dark side. if you haven't checked out guide to force powers yet i would do so. depending on how you portray and intend this faction it will either try to balance dark and light or basically be ignorant of the fact that there is a concrete existence of both light and dark side of the force. it would be the equivalent of a person in skyrim not believing in the deadric princes.

I'm assuming you've read through the faction submission guidelines so you know you'll need at least 5 active members (including yourself). these are not player characters but actual members. I see that the joined date reads Tuesday. I would encourage taking part in other indie factions and seeing how it all works. taking a 'follow before leading' approach so that way you aren't overwhelmed by things you may not have thought of before and get a feel for the site as a whole. but if you're confident you know what you're doing by all means...

For a force related faction. I'd give this a read.

As of Disney canon (which we use here), there are no force users who are able to use both the light and dark side of the force (this may not be what you are going for exactly.) You use the dark side, you take dark side corruption, but just something to keep in mind.

Anyways, I wish you the best of luck for your faction. I can't seem to come up with a third character.

I'd drop the "to" since the last one doesn't have it. In my opinion it sounds/reads better that way.

' To restrain one's emotion is stagnation '
' To succumb to one's emotion is anarchy '
' To be in tune with one's emotions is harmony '

Or change them all to verbs

' To restrain one's emotion is to stagnate'
' To succumb to one's emotion is to anarchize'
' To be in tune with one's emotions is to harmonize'

I've decided to put this idea away for now. This can be archived or w/e
