The sun was high above Thyferra. Serveral sunbeams lighted the courtyard of the Shade Order's enclave and everything seemed very peaceful. Within this enclave, a man wearing a white tunic, was waiting for the arrival of Raiden KasMelan.

Quentell Xall sat on a bench. His lightsaber was clipped to his belt, his companion. He still, after quite some time as a knight, was proud of the weapon.

He had met Raiden before on Coruscant, and after some talking Raiden followed Quentell back to the Enclave where Quentell took him on as his new apprentice. He wondered how Raiden would do, but the Shade Knight had sensed great potential in him.

Raiden walked upon the courtyard, he appeared in front of his master and nodded. He knew that he was here for several purposes one that consisted of just becoming more powerful. He left the Jedi Order earlier for this better opportunity. He knew that he could find his way through his strength.

After approaching his master he simply said, "Hello." He waited to see what was going to happen afterwards. Raiden was ready, and knew that his master had faith in him and he didn't want to destroy that faith.

"Hello, Raiden." Quentell said as a greet. He stood up from the bench and nodded to the zabrak in front of him. "I hope you slept well."

He smiled and walked over to him. "Before we get started, I will have to ask a few questions to you. The first question will be, why do you actually want to be part of the Shade Order?"

Raiden filled with answers, they flushed his mind. He had one simple answer and one only... He hoped it'd be the best answer.

"For power..." Raiden nodded as he said so, he valued the word and understood that Master Quentell did too. He knew that both of them would get along. He had a prophecy in which he'd mention later to his master, or if called upon about it. His master was wise and probably would be asking about him later.

"Power you say..." Quentell responded. He said it slowly. Power was a goal many men wanted to achieve, but often the price they had to pay for it was high.

He did not say anything more about it and asked his next question: "Then my second question. What are your first impressions of the Shade Order?"

"Honestly I think it holds more than anybody can achieve. The Shade Order is a high achieved operation. I know this because of what you've told me in the past. I know that you can love in the Shade Order and I know that's something I want to. I seek a companion and friends in my life, not a life of solitude and never lasting friendships." Raiden said this as if he rehearsed it. He knew exactly what he was talking about.

Raiden made hand movements while he was talking, afterwards he stopped. He waited for his master's reply. He held a grateful amount of respect for.

"That is very true indeed." Quentell said with a smile. "I've got one more question for you."

He then crossed his arms and said, with his low yet powerful voice: "We have a code we live by within the Shade Order. Please, recite that code for me and then explain me your interpretations."

"My emotion makes me
My knowledge guides me
My passion drives me
My strength enables me
My harmony balances me
I walk the shaded path" Raiden said the code in a honorable way, he then continued answering the question. "The code means a lot to me, it basically means you can be who you want to be no matter. You can follow your own self but without the stop of any Jedi or higher ranked men to stop you. Unless it's for the order. I want that, I want to love. In the Jedi Order you couldn't. The Shade Order simply allows you to do what you want to do but without having to tell people whom you are." Excited Raiden was. He again knew what he was talking about.

"Then hold onto that thought." Quentell said.

He then unclipped his lightsaber from his belt and looked at it. "Do you carry a lightsaber with you, now?" he asked.

He smiled at Master Quentell. His master would be impressed for the way of the lightsaber is what he was trained by. He turned his hand to his hilt and unclipped it from his black leather belt. He then placed the hilt into his hands for show.

"It's double bladed... Saberstaff in other words Master Quentell." He mentioned. "I was trained to use it by my father way back in my own day."

Quentell was somewhat surprised to see a saberstaff in the hands of his padawan. He had not seen such types often.

"Hmm... Forgive me curiousity, but I have to know. Who built it?"

"My father was a king you see. He had too many connections for me to know the history of my saberstaff... But it's wonderful. The craftsman most of been great." He was astonished.

"So I am actually training a prince right now." Quentell was even more surprised. He knew something was about this man, but he had not thought that Raiden was a prince.

"Well then, Raiden." he said and he ignited the powerful silver blade. "Let's do a little sparring match to warm ourselves up."

He raised his sword and held it high above his head. The Djem So opening stance.

Raiden appeared to enjoy the moment. He knew he was satisfied with his master's face and reply. But he hadn't got much appreciation for his prince status. He felt he could trust his master so he told him everything his master asked. Anybody else that would of asked about his Prince Status wouldn't be told. Raiden kept it a secret.

Raiden swung down his hilt and ignited one of the ends of his saberstaff a beam of green light glowered and Raiden stood in the Juyo formed. It was taught to him by his father whenever he was younger. He knew his master would now certainly be impressed.

OOC: Please keep in mind that Juyo is a highly advanced saber form, and you cannot use it properly without training. Quentell will teach you how to use it properly, but as of now you can't. No matter though, that is what the training is for. To teach you things :P And it's just part of the rules on the forum. Also, like I told you in the PM, saberstaffs are not allowed. From now on, we should RP you are using a single bladed lightsaber. (Not allowed because the saberstaff was invented by Exar Kun, and he will be born thousands of years in the future. It's still 13.000 BBY.) Sorry for that, it's just the rules... I didn't make them.

IC:
Juyo? Quentell thought. He doubted Raiden knew how to use the form properly, because it was a difficult form. There was no way Raiden could use it properly.

Quentell wanted to learn Juyo originally instead of his own form, but master Julius would not allow it at the time. He himself, however, would allow his apprentices to learn it. It was one of the seven Forms and according to him it was a powerful and practical form when dueling against a single opponent. However, it was a very difficult form and that is why Raiden could not possibly use it properly without instructions of a real master.

Quentell was an adept swordsman, and even with his Djem So form he could defeat the zabrak in front of him.

"The ferocity form." Quentell said surprised, but not impressed. "Show me how well you know the form."

OOC: Kayyyy.

Raiden stood down slightly he appeared to be in an awkward position. He tried to remember what his father had taught him. He held his lightsaber high into the sky and waited for his master's approval. He only wanted his expert advice.

OOC: Don't worry, man. When we've finished the training Raiden will be a Juyo using Shade Knight in all its glory!

Quentell then engaged Raiden. He moved over to him and delivered a direct blow, towards Raiden's right shoulder. It was not a lethal strike and it would be easy to block.

"Come on, Raiden! Show me what you've got!" he said with a smile. This was going to be an interesting match as warmup for the training.

OOC: Ha okay, remember i'm new. I've only been here for about a week.

Raiden moved towards his one side, he tried avoiding the blow by ducking down and kick his master backwards a bit. He spun about with his lightsaber. He looked at his master and to his surprise he didn't think he harmed him at all. Raiden himself was panting a little bit.

He moved inwards on his master and swung to his right shoulder. Raiden was quick but didn't have much authority whenever it came to moves. He tried the basics, not the advance. He was a good swordsman. Atleast he thought so.

OOC: I know, and that's cool. I'm just trying to point things out;)

Quentell stepped back after the kick and then quickly raised his lightsaber to block Raiden's strike. He then released his lightsaber with his left hand, still holding it with his right and the blades were still locked, and he blew a Force Push against Raiden, to see how he would react on such powers. It was not a powerful Push, but it would at least knock Raiden back a bit, if he was unable to dodge or block it.

Raiden stumbled back and even fell. He rolled backwards from the fall and released a small push backwards. It wasn't nothing at all and obviously needed improvement. But he figured it'd be a great way to show he knew a little bit about the force. He knew his master could help him. He stumbled a bit afterwards to. He ran towards his master and slung his saber to his right shoulder and then rolled back behind him. It wasn't nothing quick or fancy. He was just trying to be slick.
