Casey hadn't trained, or attempted to train, a padawan in a very long time. Finally bowing to pressure from her superiors, she had taken on a number recently. She would have been lying to say that she was thrilled about the prospect of dragging some fool out of their own naivety, but it had to be done...

Thus, she found herself sat in the cavern she had chosen long ago as her own personal training grounds. It was here that she came to practise, and meditate, and it was only fitting that it would be here that she would pass her skills along.

This time, it was to be to a Kiffar that went by the name Jacton Sibos. A little younger than her, doubtlessly arrogant, though equipped with the natural advantages of his species.

She wondered precisely how much the cavern would reveal to him, the rage she had vented, endless hours of frustration, the jealousy and fear that she only dared loose here. She had recently caused a minor cave in, leaving debris scattered around haphazardly, but allowing light in, dust motes gently floating in the beam of light that pentrated her sanctuary.

Sat atop a particularly large chunk of rock, she caused a number of small chunks of rock to orbit her, and waited.

More by accident than on purpose (or, as they told him, it was the force that brought this order and Jac together), Jac had taken a long and random adventure, ultimately coming across a oddly (yet convincing, and somehow familiar) human male that told Jac "he sensed something in him, a greater purpose than to run around aimlessly" and told him to travel to Archon VII. There, he would find nothing, but if he used his senses, would find what he really looked for.

Originally, he told the guy off. Who just randomly comes up to someone and says something like that? Was Archon VII a planet-wide strip club, perhaps? Something told him otherwise. In fact, when Jac visited the spaceport and asked, they told him it didn't exist. Now more intrigued than ever, he went to the local library and researched. It took him hours of pouring through book after useless book until he found a reference to it in a historical textbook. Apparently, long ago, it had faster-than-lightspeed technology, however it was wiped out by something, and was now lost. It gave its coordinates as well.

Interesting.

Jac went back to the spaceport and once again hopped aboard a random ship. Although, this one was small, what looked like a lambda-class shuttle, it had hyperdrive and a low profile. As well as a crew of two, which would be convenient.

As he loved doing (since he had no money to do anything else), he jumped in the cargo hold before they took off, and waited. Once they entered space, he jumped out and made his appearance. The two-man crew were confused, and scared. Jac took advantage of this surprise and quickly knocked them both out while they were still seated in their pilot and copilot seats. He dragged them away to the cargo hold and locked them in. Of course he would let them out, but first he needed to get to Archon VII. And so he did.

As he came into view of the planet, Jac unlocked the controls to the cargo bay. The crew would soon realize they had their controls activated once again, and that they could leave the cargo hold. Although, they would be utterly confused to find that they were in orbit of a planet even their nav computer did not recognize. And their escape pod was gone.

Jac landed, using the small boosters on the pod to maneuver roughly into the what he felt was the right area. That is what the odd man said, after all. So, he used his senses. It brought him down to a somewhat remote area, however he found what he was looking for. Or, rather, his escape pod probably alerted the force-sensitives within the area, who met him as soon as he touched down. One thing led to another, and before he knew it, he was in an underground cave system, being told to seek out his new Master. He felt humbled, which was rare, so he decided not to question and just go with the flow. It all seemed to be working out well.

He arrived at the cave they directed him to go to (they was still confusing to Jac, it was happening so fast, he wasn't completely sure who was in charge of this order of force-users). There, within the partly crumbled cave, was a women. Older than he, and not of the same race. But some type of near-human. Debris was floating all around here, and she appeared in a meditative trance, of sorts. Yes, she was definitely weird.

He poked his head in, but it didn't feel right to him. Stress began to well up inside of him, and he backed out. It was weird. Perhaps he made the wrong decision. They told him, with proper training, he could understand the universe, which pinged his interest as he had been questioning just that...but this was weird.

He began so slowly back away. Perhaps she didn't see him yet...

((Sorry it took a while...4th of July weekend is taking its toll))

((OOC: No worries! And I apologise in advance for my character. She's a bitch :P))

"You can leave," Casey spoke without moving, or even opening her eyes, "But once you do, It's possible that you will never return."

Her head raised, pointed at the newcomer, Jacton, without ever opening her eyes, nor changing the speed or motion of her orbiting debris.

"In fact, if you do leave, it's doubtful you would be able to find your way out of the compound. Or off the planet. Alive, at least."

Now her eyes flicked open. Almost impossible to perceive in the darkness, with the single stream of light hitting her back, the icy blue carefully took in the newcomer. She had been right with her initial guess; cocky spacer. Ten a penny in the current climate and annoyingly hard to break, but all with potential to be truly great. Confidence was key, after all.

Her eyes shut again, and once more, her voice quietly issued into the cave, toward the boy that might yet become her pupil.

"I can teach you a great many things. Things about the universe, about yourself, all that you were wholly unaware of. I can make you into something truly great, a warrior of unrivalled power, a scholar without peer, a legend amongst men."

Sliding off the rock, her debris hit the ground as she did, her long robe gently hitting the ground without a sound.

"I can also kill you without ever moving a muscle. Now, make your choice; turn your back on this place and take the chance that I'll let you leave alive, or enter and become more than simple Jacton Sibos."

"Become more than simple Jacton Sibos"...he let that thought bounce around in his head. That meant a lot to him. There were few things that could stop Jac dead in his tracks after making a decision. Fortunately, for the future of himself, his new acquaintance knew exactly what those few things were. Or, at least, so it seemed.

He turned around, and looked back into the cave. He stared into the shaded outline of the intimidating women, who the Masters of this 'Ospian Order' told him he would 'train' under. He was confused and didn't yet understand, but this was a step in the right direction. He didn't really liked this women, she seemed crazy. But, she was also blunt and direct, which were qualities he liked. No beating around the bush with her, she would teach him what he wanted. If he were to take her up on that offer, he knew a lot was in store for him.

"Now, I was lead to believe that people who are in-tune with the force are against random acts of killing...wouldn't that go against your teachings; killing me, that is? And aren't your kind supposed to be nice and thoughtful, not simplified and blunt?" She wasn't his master yet. Floating objects was an interesting power, he had to admit, but it didn't make her his master, so he wasn't about to treat her like one until she proved she could back up her bold words.

He took a step into the cave, although he visibly and mentally halted for a second before letting his foot settle on the ground. It felt unnaturally cool inside. Whether that was just him, or some geological anomaly, he could not tell. But, with the next step, and the next, he felt more uneasy. This cave had seen things not many things had seen. This cave had a lot of history tied into the women that stood before him, and he didn't even need to concentrate and talk to the ground to understand that.

"You'll have to excuse me, Ma'm. This cave has a lot of past, and it isn't pleasant to walk on." He stopped walking, and now stood fully into the cave. He could feel his body begin to perspire. This cave was something else... "
The ground is pretty vocal...more so than anything I've encountered, and I'm not sure why. It has to do with you, though...what-what are you, exactly?" This question was genuine. She was no Jedi. And he was supposed to learn an entirely new lifestyle from her...
