Here we have the new, shiny, Jedi Mission list. Now, each mission here is not just a standalone mission, Each is the first step in a series of story-driven missions with real consequences to your actions.

Also, here is a link to the GA military related missions.

To keep everything squeaky clean, this thread will simply showcase the missions, while the application thread itself is here. When a mission is taken, post so in the taken/completed thread here. Do the same when the mission is complete.

Now, we don't want our missions to fall away, shrivel and die, which seems to be a problem of pandemic proportions here. As such, if a thread falls inactive, you will count as failing, and it will have an impact on the arc of the chosen mission's story.

Reconnaissance on Almas

The force ripples once more, and the wind of change sweeps the galaxy. Sage Master John Cordatus felt it first, but it has since been picked up by several others. There has been a shift in the balance of the power of the dark side, and the possibility of it being connected to our antitheses the Sith is simply too great to not be investigated. You are to smuggle yourself to Almas and once there gather intelligence on the current upper echelons of the Sith. Who’s leading them? Are they warlike, as Judicar, or calculating as Aevum was? If you can also get some inklings as to their personality, such information is incredibly valuable to the Council.

Numbers: 1-2 knights, 0-2 padawans (three spots in total).
Teline Deloi, Melira D'von, Ebberla Daw
Sith forces will be played by Sith writers - who will be determined once the mission gets underway.

NOTE: This is primarily an espionage mission. Going into it with a mind to kill any Sith you encounter is a sure way to fail! Use your wits to survive in enemy territory.

It's a Hard Life Down There
FILLED

A padawan has been reported missing after a routine sweep of Coruscant’s lower city. Get down there and find them before they get themselves into something they can’t handle - The Lower City isn’t known for the approachability of its inhabitants...

Numbers: 1-3 padawans
Andreus Makaryk, Hal Kailas, Kaji Pesanka
NPC’s can be played by anyone - ask around and find someone willing, it won’t be hard! If no-one can be found then Deathtoll is free to NPC.

A Shadow of its Former Glory (Started)

An ancient Imperial Star Destroyer has just drifted from deep space into the field of Rion’s long range orbital scanners. Named “The Indomitable”, the ship is down on record as having been liberated by the Rebel Alliance mere months after the Battle of Yavin. Naturally the assumption would be that the hyper drive and communication relays were destroyed at some point and the ship’s inhabitants slowly died of starvation, however that theory went out the window when the ship hailed Rion in a language not currently recognised by any system.

You’ve been sent to The Indomitable to ascertain what happened to it, and to judge whether or not it poses a risk to Rion. Retrieve the ship’s data core and ship’s log - held in the main computer and ship’s bridge respectively, then leave unless you deem the ship to be too much of a threat to the planet to be left intact. If you do think it’s dangerous, you have the mandate to destroy it using charges that should be attached to the main reactor core’s coolant system.

Numbers: 1-2 Knights, 0-3 padawans (4 places in total)
Andreus Makaryk, Matsu Ike, Varrion Rhys, Haloburner Lamb
NPCs will be played by Denzein.

In For a Penny, In For a Pound (Filled)

Gambling is rife in our galaxy. Ordinarily it isn’t part of the Jedi mandate, as it tends to be a bit of harmless fun for the most part. That said, there’s always those few times when our presence is needed... This is one of them. Soonfar Tess, infamous drug baron of Bespin is holding a Sabacc game at the Central Casino. The purpose of this game is for him to win the extortionate amount of money he needs to complete the next stage of expansion of his empire.

The stakes are high, so high that the Galactic Alliance has sent an agent in to attempt to beat the odds and win the game, draining the baron of his resources. He’s been foolish; he’s poured every last credit he own into this gamble. He’s sure to have set up a scam to ensure his victory however - that’s where you come in. The Jedi Council has bought you into the game under a false identity. You’re to play, cheat and win by any means necessary, then deal with the consequences in the least messy way possible. Don’t lose.

Numbers: 0-1 Knight, 0-2 padawans (2 spots in total)
Ebberla Daw, Matsu Ike,
NPCs can be played by anyone - ask around and find someone willing, it won’t be hard!

NOTE: Only one of you has been bought in - the other is there posing as a bodyguard. Choose among yourselves who’s who.

High Noon in Mos Eisely FILLED

It was once said of Mos Eisely that one would never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Time has proven this statement true, for indeed all of Tatooine remains to this day one of the Galaxy’s most impoverished, scum infested backwaters.

But it is not the scum that you are going there for, not this time at least. Jedi Intelligence has noticed the gathering of several rogue Jedi in the city, too many for it to simply be a coincidence. You are to take a team of Jedi and discover what they’re up to - then you’re to stop it if you think you have to. Be warned - intelligence has stressed that each and every one of these rogues is a dangerous fighter, one who’s been witnessed using dark techniques. There is a time for compassion, but this very well may not be it.

Numbers: 0-1 master, 1-2 knights, 0-3 padawans (4 slots available)
Virzivil Axgar, Ayva Starfall, Sebastian Solborne, Traven Oli
NPCs can be played by anyone - ask around and find someone willing, it won’t be hard!

The Iron Cage FILLED

For 17 years, the notorious Crime Lord Malthius has evaded capture at the hands of the Galactic Alliance. For the first time in over a decade, an informant has come forwards, and the Alliance has passed his intelligence over to the Jedi.

The council has agreed that time is of the essence, and is preparing to dispatch a team to bring him to justice, before he can move on again. With no time to check the information, the Jedi must act before it is too late.

Numbers: 1-2 Knights, 0-3 padawans (four places total)
PCs:Akacen Monthurus, Kalen Conner, Kassa, Quils Kugen
NPC's can be played by anyone - ask around and find someone willing, it won’t be hard!
The awakening of Crutiae Reopened

A recent vision from the Sage Master has warned of a calamity about to occur on Trandosha. He believes that a rogue Jedi is preparing to reopen the mine workings to search for ancient pre-Imperial catacombs.

The Sage Master's vision showed a dark force waiting to be freed from within the mines, and the council is preparing to dispatch a team of Jedi to prevent the mine from opening.

The Rogue Jedi must be stopped at all costs, the dark entity that lurks within cannot be allowed to escape. Ideally, the Rogue Jedi should be captured as well.

PC's: Andreus Makaryk, Cat, Haloburner Lamb, Apollo Ratler
NPC's will be played by Kit
Nifty Nelvaanians FILLED

Since the Empire's attack on the planet of Uviuy Exen several years ago, Prince Auron Freed has been dedicated to rebuilding his world piece by piece. He has been succesfull in reuniting most of the inhabitants of his planet, such as the Jawas of the underground caverns and the Nautolan colony of the Great Sea. But in the arctic southern regions of the planet, the immigrative Nelvaanians do not share the same intent of assisting their Human neighbors, who they shared a five-year-long civil war with until the Imperial attack. Prince Auron is not eager to continue this feud in a time of each culture of the planet requiring something from the other, and has requested the help of the Jedi Order's renowned diplomats in persuading King Nukten of the Nelvaanians to soften his views.

You are to travel to Uviuy Exen to His Majesty's royal palace. From there, four of the Prince's best soldiers will escort you to the city of Keturnan in the southern hemisphere, home of the Nelvaanians of the planet. King Nukten is not expecting any humans to come knocking, for any reason, and will likely attempt sending you on your way before you even get a chance to plead your case to him - or worse.

A Growing Alliance: Imperial Knights
FILLED
The Imperial Knights were long-time defenders of the old Empire, before the Sith returned, but now they too are the enemies of the Sith. Their goal is to remove the Sith from the Empire and create a new Imperial government, similar to the one the Alliance and the Jedi were allied with prior to the return of the Sith. With thousands of Force warriors in their ranks, the Imperial Knights are a formidable opponent against the Sith.

A group of Jedi diplomats and sages are to make contact with the Imperial Knights and attempt to lay the groundwork for forming an alliance with them. It was recently discovered that the Imperial Knights have a secret base on Ubuuga, in the Pallopides Estate. Go to the entrance, state your intentions, and tell them that Grand Master Lecchamemnon sent you.

The Jedi and the Imperial Knights are not enemies, and there is no reason why we cannot be allies. Convince them to consider this. Once you have, report back to the High Council, and the Council will speak to the Knight Commander and the rest of the Imperial Knights leadership to formalize an alliance.

This requires at least one Jedi versed in diplomacy and one Jedi versed in the arts of a sage; the diplomat is for negotiations, and the sage is to bridge any cultural and spiritual divides. At least one of these Jedi must be of Knight level or above. Knights are encouraged to bring their Padawan(s) with them.

PCs: Arek Dinallis,Matsu Ike, Tessa

A Growing Alliance: Disciples of Melaxi FILLED
Along the border of Alliance space and the Unknown Regions, anomalies in hyperspace have been continually appearing. They were dismissed at first, but a pattern began to appear as the anomalies grew more frequent. They moved in populated special lanes, but not long enough to get any helpful censor readings—until now.

The anomalies were recently scanned as they lingered in the Naboo system, and Alliance intelligence officers determined that they were vessels. They were alien in design, albeit resembling a Star Destroyer despite their archaic armaments. Once the Alliance military commanders and interim Chief of State Jhon Cordatus were informed, Cordatus came to believe that they were from a group of Force sensitives and tasked the New Jedi Order with making contact with the mysterious people.

Because the pattern has become predictable, Alliance intelligence has determined that the vessels will next appear over the forest moon of Endor. Go to Endor and determine who these individuals are. If they are Force users, attempt to lay the groundwork for an alliance with them, and then report back to the High Council which will finalize any treaty negotiations.

Mission of Mercy: Phindar FULL

The planet of Phindar is divided. The newly elected Phindian prime minister, Paxxe Dryda, is suspected of attempting to completely militarize the planet, brutalizing citizens who refuse to comply. This week, a video of a Phindian soldier's helm-cam appeared on the Holonet, showing the shooting of civillians in the streets and tear gas usage to smoke out houses. The government denies it's authenticity, and the prime minister has done an excellent job of hiding his actions - so far.

Travel to Phindar under the banner of peace and get both sides of the story. There is no doubt the Prime Minister will do his best to make sure you only see what he wants you to.

And an application template is, of course, required:

Applications will go into the application thread, and your names will be then placed in the mission roster here.
