ORDER OF THE JEDI
JEDI WORLDS​

Throughout the thousands of years that the Jedi Order has existed, very few monasteries have been established outside of Ossus. The only major temple found in the galaxy aside from the Great Jedi Temple of Ossus is the Jedi Monastery on Coruscant. However, some worlds have been gracious enough to allow the Jedi Order to keep some of the members on their world for training, though we believe that it is not right to get involved in the planetary affairs unless we have been given authorization by the government. The planets that we currently reside on in one way or another are as follows:

- Ossus
- Coruscant
- Corellia
- Alderaan

OSSUS
​

Ossus, the capital world of the Jedi Order, is a lush and rugged world. Two-thirds of the surface is covered by water and the entire world has an abundance of flora and fauna. The planet has become home a few million people that inhabit cities and towns across the globe. The principle city is Knossa, whose spaceport is the main thoroughfare for arriving and leaving the planet. The Jedi Temple is housed a few kilometers outside of Knossa.

While Ossus is a peaceful world, it is not defenseless. There are thousands of scattered ground emplacements throughout the world to protect it from aerial attacks and there is a standing planetary military with soldiers and a fleet that sometimes trains in conjunction with the Jedi Order. The members of the Jedi Order act as law enforcement officials to maintain security in the cities. There is also a Republic military staging ground a few kilometers away from the Jedi Temple and the capital city.

CORUSCANT​

Coruscant is the capital planet of the Galactic Republic, though it has recently fallen under the control of the Alsakan Union after a blockade that forced the Supreme Chancellor and the Galactic Senate to flee. A large number of galactic trade routes make their way through Coruscant, which has allowed it to be one of the richest and most prosperous worlds in the entire known galaxy. The planet’s hyperspace coordinates are (0,0,0) and it’s military designation is Triple Zero, a term that is also utilized by the Jedi Order in the event that we intervene in an emergency situation.

The actual planet-wide metropolis of Coruscant is divided into smaller cities, though each is the size of what would be called countries on many other planets. Among these cities is Galactic City, sometimes called Republic City or Coruscant City. The Jedi Monastery and the Galactic Senate can be found there, as can many political offices. It is one of the more prosperous and well-kept cities on the planet.

Traveling to Coruscant is currently impossible due to the recent blockade by the Alsakan Union. There are currently no diplomatic channels between the Jedi Order and the Alsakan Union, so it is not known how they would react to our presence if any of the members of our order arrived there. It is believed that this restriction on travel to the planet will only be temporary until we can begin diplomacy with the Alsakans.
