Krado sat with his legs and arms crossed, eyes closed and head bowed as he meditated. He kept his mind focused and calm and kept everything else out, like a barrier for his inner thoughts. It was something he had learned from all the Jedi Masters, something he would have to improve on if he wanted to finish his role as a padawan.

That was why he was meeting Anaru. Krado had many things that needed improvement, and Anaru was willing to take the challenge in training him. Krado had heard of the Master before, a well known warrior and a wise teacher. Any padawan would be proud to have him as their master.

He continued his meditation, preparing himself for what was to come. He did not know Master Anaru well enough to know what to expect, but he assumed the training he would endure would not be easy.

Anaru sat in the back watching his newest padawan Krado. He was meditating quietly and he didn't want to suprise him. So he walked up to him and put his hand gently on his shoulder. "Good evening Krado."

Krado's eyes shot open, though he wasn't startled. Curiously, he turned to see who it was that was resting their hand on his shoulder. When he saw it was Anaru himself, Krado rose to his feet and bowed slightly.

"Master Anaru, this is a good evening indeed." Krado didn't smile, he never did. But he was extremely happy to see his new master and eager to grow stronger underneath Anaru's instruction.

"Yes. It is, especially for you. You will learn many things under me if you pay attention and listen closely. I cannot guarantee your survival in this galaxy but I will do the utmost to prepare you for it. Hopefully you can learn from some of the mistakes I've made and can make a better legacy than I have.

Come with me." He said as he led Krado to the training room. On the wall rack were 3 lightsabers. A red, blue, and green lightsaber.

"Pick your lightsaber Krado, and I'll begin the teaching."

Krado nodded as Anaru spoke, and then followed the master into a training room. In front of him was a wall rack with three different sabers on them. His excitement grew as he heard the master ask him to pick one.

Examining them, Krado was surprised to find a red lightsaber! Red was the color of warriors, and heroes and war lords back on his planet. He reached out and calmly claimed the light saber, his thick fingers wrapping around it.

He ignited his saber, a red glow filling the room. The sight of the blade was magnificent. The young padawan could of stared at it for hours, but remembering why he was in the training room, he turned to Anaru and said, "I'm ready, Master."

"Good. Attack me. Force me to ignite my own lightsaber." Anaru said as he smiled benignly. He was ready for this.

Krado nodded as he heard his master command him to attack. Krado twirled his new weapons in his large hand, getting used to the feel of it. It was a great feeling to have such a weapon resting in his grasp, the tool that all Jedi carried. Now he would learn to fight from Master Anaru himself! This day couldn't get any better.

Krado suddenly steadied his saber, taking in a deep breath and concentrating. His eyes narrowed as he thought out his attack strategy. He knew even his strongest attack couldn't harm Anaru, so he decided to attack with as little energy as possible. He bent his knees, breathed out, and then lunged forward, targeting the master's chest!

This Padawan had more sense than many. Some trainees would attempt to use all their strength and out muscle him into submission. Krado was too smart for this, and he was saving his energy. As his apprentice lunged at him he ducked to the side and dodged the blow by his apprentice, grabbing his apprentices wrist and throwing him towards the nearest wall.

Krado's eyes went wide with surprise as Anaru gracefully dodged his lunge, and then pushed him forward towards the wall. The tall human's strength physically was a bit surprising to Krado, but it wasn't enough to completely overwhelm the Togorian. He smashed into the wall, almost tearing it completely down like i was a piece of paper. Dusting himself off as he turned around, ready for another go, his dull mind couldn't think up of any further strategies. He decided to go with his instinct.

The red lightsaber practically bleeding light, Krado stepped forward and served three blows, each one becoming stronger than the one before it. He figured a growing force against this master would perhaps weaken him. However, this was a Master he was fighting, and he didn't put alot of faith in this quick thought that passed his mind.
