DESCRIPTION
Kunai style throwing knives are made by various manufacturers with varying quality of steel. The length and weight of the blade can influence how quickly it turns in flight, and how effective it is as a weapon. The finger ring on one end aids in drawing and control in close quarters combat. All attributes that can make a difference between you hitting a bullseye, or hearing the dreaded pling of a knife bouncing harmlessly away. Meanwhile a high quality durasteel edge would help maintain a lethal edge for those looking for less legal applications.

Designed to be thin and relatively concealable or kept out of the way, the Kunai have no vibrocapabilities. However, the more expensive models can be found coated in Phrik in order to compete with other throwing knife models available. During these dark times there's no telling when a citizen might be forced to defend themselves against a lightsaber wielding opponent. While the manufacturer can't guarantee your survival, they can guarantee the blade won't be sliced through like your common chef knife.

Like most blades these are not effective against steel armor. The knives would be more effective against exposed joints in armor or armors made of more pliable material with varying degrees of success.

LEGALITY
Legal in most systems. Sports enthusiasts and hunters alike benefit from a good blade.

INTENT
Blasters are effective, but knives are silent killing machines if you don't advertise yourself as an assassin or bounty hunter. While the Korrien Throwing Knives focus on concealment, the Kunai Throwing Knives are a more traditional weapon. A longer blade is easier to throw, and a heavier one can deal deal more damage.

ADVANCED TECH
None.
