"Who ever you choose to accompany you, choose wisely. We will only have one chance at this, and we cannot risk any errors in this."

Predor chose not to nominate himself, feeling it was not his choice in the manner. He would accompany Daisuke should he want, but he knew it had to be the right Jedi, otherwise things would fall apart and this would all be a waste.

Andre only gave a single nod of approval of all the plan, having no need to speak more. What was said has been said.

"Mmm.."

Looking around, Tris hummed an agreeing tone in accordance with Predor immediately after he'd spoken. Two had volunteered. This task was not an appealing one, but those here seemed willing to do their part; be there danger or not.

Andreus took the seat offered him by the feline Daisuke, visibly relieved that the meeting's organizer agreed with his assessment of Augustus. The Jedi Order needed a more involved leadership, to be sure. But Augustus was involved; he had to cover not only his duties but the duties of two others. Andreus sincerely hoped that the events at foot would ease the Battlemaster's burden, for he was really the only Councilor on the meeting's agenda who had earned the padawan's respect (the others weren't on the meeting's agenda at all, it seemed).

"I will not be deluded into thinking I have a silver tongue," Andreus stated bluntly, in response to the solicitation for volunteers to deliver the message. He would sign his name, but for him to stroke his ego by jumping up to volunteer was folly when he knew he was ill-suited for the delivery role. Unless his forcefulness could be used to complement someone else's personality, which might be a possibility. "Very clearly, I do not. I do not know what role I might be better suited to fill."

Except perhaps shuttle pilot. But most of those present could probably fly a shuttle, so Andreus didn't say much as he didn't think it would be a unique contribution. There were certainly those in the group who knew of Andreus' abilities, and if they thought such abilities were required, they could say so.

Daisuke merely nodded in approval of Talon. "You're modest and level-headed. This hasn't gone to your head; I'd like you to accompany me, Talon. You'd be a good man to have on for this."

He turned next to Logath. The knight echoed his own thoughts, but far more importantly, he understood the gravity of the situation just as much as Daisuke and Talon. Doubtless many others knew the seriousness of their endeavor, but Logath was, to a degree, a known quantity, as was Talon.

"Logath; the same to you as well."

He looked to Matsu, who had also quite bravely volunteered. She was young yet, and had a full life ahead of her. He wasn't willing to risk anything happening to her should the meeting with the council go awry - no matter how much he told himself the Council would react as they always did, with a measure of calm and self-control, a part of him was still protective of his fellow Jedi. Instinct told him to keep her, and many of the others, out of harm's way, and so he did.

"Matsu, you are very brave for wanting to accompany us, but I don't want you at risk. Logath, Talon, and I should suffice. Thank you, though." He offered her a momentary smile, then rose to his full height. Andreus was large, but Daisuke simply dwarfed the human at a whopping 2.15 meters in his armor - the Jedi was a titan, that much was without doubt.

He glanced to Andreus, chuckling at the fellow's rather forward statement. "You support this cause. That's more than I can rightly ask of you," he stated gently.

With that said, he focused on the group as a whole one final time. A heavy leather tome and pen had been set on the table by a freshly-arrived Padawan; one of Dai's students.

"Unless there are any last minute concerns to be voiced, any fears to be placed into words, let us conclude this meeting. Sign your names to the book if you agree to what we've discussed; once all who agree have signed, it'll be delivered to our envoys outside the Council Chamber. Logath, Talon; it's time for us to depart. If we call for the Council now and start to Coruscant, we might arrive about the time they're ready for us."

Andreus stood up as well, as Dai had. Dai was larger than him by virtue of his species and his armor, but that was irrelevant, really...what was relevant was the leather-bound book that Dai's padawan had laid upon the table.

Dai hadn't asked him to accompany the mission to Coruscant, but that did not matter. Andreus knew he was not given to diplomacy anyway, but he could still make a statement.

He seized the pen and signed his name into the page, pressing down with his hand, the strength of his convictions that the Jedi needed to better prepare themselves for the war the Sith had planned, so deeply that his signature, the first in the book, imprinted itself not only on the first page, but indented itself into the next few as well.

Tris was next to sign, lightly looping and crossing letters in delicate cursive. He felt confident in those who would meet with the Council to deliver this sensitive calling. His name was added to the others, in support of the Jedi and in support of the galaxy it served.

Predor nodded, going towards Daisuke and standing behind him as he folded his hands behind him. He looked on as others went to go and sign the tome to show that they wanted change.

"I stand by your side. The Fate of our Order rests in the balance, My Friend."

Andre rose from his seat, expressionless as he turned towards where the tome was and walked over to it. When the pencil was free, he grabbed it with his gloved hand and signed his first and last name into it, along with his current rank into the tome. Once he was done, he turned around and walked past the other padawans and knights, and eventually out the doors without a word. There was simply nothing left for him to add, and now he and everyone else had to play the waiting game with Daisuke, Logath and Talon. Logath was going with them now, which meant he did not need to give the Knight a ride as he strolled back to his ship.

Haloburner stood at the corner, listening to the chatter- some on topic others, well- not so much. She dared not voice her opinion about the subject matter. She contemplated about taking an early exist, especially after Kelly practically offered zero interest in her "only you can answer that” she’d been told without even a simple acknowledgement of her presence.

Nonetheless, the blonde stayed as she was there on the account of her trainer- for moral support. As the meeting dragged on, Haloburner heard her trainer volunteer to help. Upon hearing Matsu’s words, the blonde Padawan whispered "nice to meet you too Kelly" and left the corner of the room to sit in the chair next to Matsu. Halo gave a slight nod to Chora and a slight smile to Matsu as she sat down next to them. “I hope you know what you just volunteered for Matsu.” The blonde whispered in Matsu’s ear.

Nero listened as many people nominated themselves to accompany Daisuke. Nero was a little nervous but finally gained enough courage to speak.

"Daisuke, I wish to accompany you," requested Nero. "Augustus has always been there for me, so I wish to be there for him. I believe I might be able to help in persuading him to see our line of thinking in case we are unsuccessful."

Cat stood up from his seat and walked over to the signing place, taking the ink pen and quickly jotting down his signature, every stroke reassuring his decision.

"I will contact Admiral Vestibb and see what he can do for us.. but considering we've already got the Chief of State on our side I am not sure what sort of a difference it'll make.

Good luck to you three."

Matsu looked at Halo and nodded as she swept her gaze over to Chora and motioned. The three of them should also sign as this affected all. Slowly Matsu stood and walked over as she looked up and up and up at the large jedi and spoke. "Good luck." Matsu held out her parasol towards him as she nodded. "In case the worst happens Daisuke." Matsu made sure the jedi had it as she went and signed her name.

"Nice to meet you too Kelly"
Kelly watched as Haloburner left to go sit next to Matsu, she seemed to have pissed off the Padawan with her comment. Kelly shrugged as she left the corner and walked over to the tome signing her name, and walking over to Predor. "Good luck." She said to her once master, and teacher.

As the Jedi got up to sign, Haloburner did what she knew was only right- she signed too. She saw Kelly walk up to sign and wanted to say something to her, but she didn’t. Maybe they will cross paths again. The blonde Padawan upon signing bade farewell to her trainer, and walked back towards the exit.

((Kelly, I believe Haloburner said nice to meet you too, not nice to meat [eat] you. :) ))

For many minutes, Arek was completely silent, every idea of his reflected in not one but several of the other Jedi. Why would he NEED to talk if that was the case? When several people were talking about going, he didn't feel the need to pop up. By the time the thought had even first come to him, the people were already chosen. After remaining silent for another several minutes, somebody else offered to go. Feeling a little bit more brave, why he had no idea, he stood up and signed the document. After all of that, he walked over to Daisuke and said: "If you wish, I could accompany you. While my skills elsewhere are as of yet under par, I have been trained, well I would hope, in the skills of diplomacy and negotiations." Though it came out kind of nerdy and forced, Arek got his point across well enough.

Nier nodded his head slightly as he stood and walked to the tome that had already been signed by a few. He reached for the pen with his bandaged hand and signed 'Nier' off to the side in a simple manner; it was small enough not to get in the way of the name's of others, but large enough to be noticed.

While he wasn't with the Order for as long as everyone else, he did sense that things were.. slow amongst the Jedi Order. He also knew that if they were not prepared, the Order could easily fall to the Sith and the Empire. So he had decided to sign his name in support for the replacement of the three members of the Order for what seemed to be the best course of action for the situation.

Finished, the cloaked young man turned his head towards Daisuke and nodded, "I bid you luck, Fuyu. As much as it would be.. interesting to go along with you, I fear that I do not possess enough knowledge of this Order as of yet, so again, good luck."

Dai briefly glanced at Nero, giving the younger man a slight bow of his head in respect. "I understand, but I must ask that you remain here. I know that isn't what you want, but this needs to be small and quick."

Cat spoke, mentioning Admiral Vestibb. The feline gave the man with the feline nickname a quick nod. "An ally is an ally. Contact him," he said with a hitch of his shoulders, a movement that was tremendously exaggerated by the heavily sloped armor plates guarding his upper arms and shoulders.

He began to start for the door, though he paused when Matsu appeared. The feline quickly eyed the parasol - the feline, a self-proclaimed master of all things weaponry, ventured to guess that there was a blade within. It seemed reasonable enough. Daisuke gently closed Matsu's fingers back around her parasol. "Thank you, Matsu, but keep this close by your side. I'd rather you be well-equipped."

Again, he began making his way out, but was caught by Arek. He couldn't help but smile - the young man was a wise one indeed. He gently laid a hand upon Arek's shoulder. "You're needed here. This could ruin you if things go south. I doubt they will, but you've got great potential. I'd hate for that to be ruined if a mistake is made. Still, thank you."

He released Arek's shoulder and made his way towards the door. His time was at an end here; once signed, the book'd be delivered to him, and he and his party would proceed to the Council Chambers. It was time to usher in a change, to breath new life into the Order.

Nero was about to protest, but decided against it. He wanted to help Augustus, but Daisuke wasn't letting him.

Nero left the Jedi still amassed and headed for the hangar.
