Lightsaber Crystals: Where are They Found?

I was planning a thread for the future where my student Jedi would make his lightsaber before he is promoted to knight. However, as I began the planning process, I stumbled upon a problem. I didn't know where to begin the search for the crystal to put in the lightsaber. I know you all are think, "dummy, go to Ilum or Dantooine. The are full of the crystals." However, this is where the problem lies. According to the accepted planetary list, neither Ilum nor Dantooine have been discovered yet, much less the crystals on them. So a new question comes into play:

What is the planet would the Jedi get their crystals from, seeing as the well know locations of Ilum and Dantooine are not yet discovered?

There has to be a place somewhere, seeing as their are lightsabers. I'm just wondering if anyone had a good idea of where they might be found in this era.

This is important also for future people who intend on RP their lightsaber creation.

However, Ossus sounds as likely as any place. It does have plenty of minerals that could become crystals.

Edit: actually, after looking through some links from that page, I found out that the crystals were found in the Adega System before Ilum. The preferred ones were on Ilum, however. Ossus is in the Adega system.
