History:
The Oligarchy of Montitia declared that those Miraluka most sensitive to the Force would study it and pass on their knowledge and findings to those who would be willing to learn. These Miraluka would form the first administrative board of the Luka Sene. The Board would discover many different ways that one could use the Force and the effect certain application could have of one mental outlook.
Considering themselves to be teachers The Board would conduct the Luka Sene like a school, to avoid interference with the functionality of society. And also to lower the likelihood of their student falling to the darkside. They would have instructional lessons during certain parts of the day so their members would be able to learn whilst still contributing to the betterment of Miralukan society and culture.
The average Miraluka would attend the standard program which would improve his sense-based connection to the Force enabling him to better apply himself to society in a practical manner. While those who were highly or extremely sensitive would be encourage to join the advanced program. There they would be instructed more in the Control and Alter areas as well as the Sense based applications. Upon graduation these students would often become Mentors, Masters, or Administrators of the Luka Sene. In some cases These members would travel offworld to visit the Jedi, of give advice to a gifted child.
But with additional knowledge came additional risk of falling. As a counter measure, certain students (those with an affinity to combat and tracking.) would be recruited into the Sene Seekers. The Sene seekers are a special group trained in redeeming those who have fallen. If they are unable to redeem the member they are to capture or kill that member to keep their teaching from falling into the wrong hands.
Recent
One of their more recent graduates happened to be exceptionally hungry for knowledge and was chosen to replace the current head administrative position. The individual refused stating that he wished to further expand his knowledge and travel offworld. The Board went to the Oligarchy on the subject of opening a location on another planet in order to reach further with their knowledge. It was suggested that Coruscant be the location, seeing as they would be in a better position to safely reach out to other potential students.
After much consideration and review of Coruscant by Sene Seekers, The Oligarchy decided to grant The Board their new location on Coruscant. They appointed Garev Uluc the Head of the new school and sent him with a Sene Seeker unit to secure an appropriate location.
Beliefs:
The Luka Sene believe that the Force is a means by which to improve one life. It should not dominate one's actions, nor free them from galactic laws.

The ultimate goal of the Luka Sene, since deciding to expand, is to show the galaxy that the Force is not what they've been shown but a chance for all connected to improve themselves and the galaxy they live in.
