Mandalorians/Taung are overrated.

Unless you offer reasons to back up your opinion, this is just going to devolve into a shit-flinging thread.

It seems strange that xenophobic vikings would team up with giant slugs on the promise of fighting a powerful adversary. The Hutts are gaining more power than the Hutts so wouldn't the Hutts be a better adversary to fight? I think the only reason the Taung are still under the Hutts' wing is because a loyalist to Tusa replaced the old Mandalore.

So, you just decided to make a troll thread because you got bored or do you have another reason?

It's already started, so I'm quoting myself to make sure everyone sees it.

When egos flare, I'll lock this thread. But if you guys can make it a civilized debate that would be positively spiffy.

Does everything have to make 'perfect' sense? I for one, don't see anything wrong with Taung being with Hutts, as it is a creative idea.

Creativity and role playing go hand and hand...of course, some things should follow, but bending some things doesn't hurt. For example, lightsabers being far more advanced now then they should be makes role playing here much more enjoyable then it would if they couldn't be.

This type of stance can be applied to Jedi/Sith in general.

I do love the Mandalorians and Taungs lifestyle and codes of honor. The mere fact their life is generally ruled by fighting allows any roleplayer to be faced with a new experience. While the Jedi are pacifistic in nature and the Sith are in fact very open to violence but a much more subtle kind.

Lock.

This is absolutely not the board for this. Talk about this in the Star Wars Saga board, because otherwise it just looks like a troll thread. I'm not saying it is, but people will (and I'm sure have) taken it that way.
