PERSONALITY:
Djibril was originally a curious fellow who joined the Jedi Order at age 34 (relatively young in the eyes of Shi'ido). He was eager to listen and learn, but was a bit of a pacifist. He preferred to hone his skills in the Force rather than learn combat styles. He was always polite and courteous to those around him, regardless of rank.
As a Jedi Padawan, Djibril dwelt into a Force power known as Force Travel, a form of teleportation that heavily corrupted the user in the dark side of the Force. Though he failed to accomplish the ability, the attempts did have a side effect. It was evident in his behavior. Djibril became more violent and rude. He began to look down on his colleagues, where he had once shown respect and kindness.
However, after his banishment from the Jedi Order and return from his self-exile, he seemed to act like his normal self. However, hidden on the masks of politeness and respect stood a persona of deception and ambition. He became determined to fix what he called 'mistakes' of the Republic, willing to take almost any means necessary. When he left the Republic for the Hutt Empire, he transferred this passion into correcting the corruption surrounding many of Tusa's underlords.

BIOGRAPHY:
Djibril was born on the planet Lao-mon. For thirty-four years, Djibril was the typical Shi'ido but strange things began to happen near him. Things would occassionally fall. He'd know something he hadn't learned. When a Jedi recruiter came to the planet, it was discovered that all those phenomena had been caused by Djibril, who turned out to be Force sensitive.
Djibril was recruited into the Jedi Order and became the apprentice of the very same Jedi that had found him on Lao-mon. He trained under her for three years. To his teacher's dismay, Djibril showed little interest in lightsaber combat and instead focused on honing his skills with the Force; this would prevent him from leveling up to the rank of Jedi Knight. A 'model citizen', Djibril generally joined diplomatic missions issued by the Republic, noticing he had a way with politics.
Despite the progress he had made during those years, and the subsequent two years later, Djibril made a fatal mistake that cost him his membership in the Jedi Order. Djibril had dipped his interest into Force Travel. He failed to successfully teleport but the effects came into being regardless. The dark side had began to corrupt the Shi'ido. Despite the warnings from his teacher, Djibril continued using Force Travel. When the changes in Djibril's personality became too evident to ignore, the Grand Master banished Djibril from the Jedi Order. The Shi'ido left without saying good-bye, even to his long-time teacher and comrade.
A few months following his banishment from the Jedi Order, Djibril disappeared for years. Nothing concrete was ever found into what Djibril had been doing. Some say he had joined a cult of dark jedi. Some say he returned home to Lao-mon and built a life for himself.
Regardless of what Djibril had been doing, he made a sudden return during the Alsakan Crisis. When the Alsakans attacked Obroa-skai, Djibril arrived and crippled the command ship of the Alsakan fleet. The loss of the command ship lost the battle for the Alsakan since disarray and confusion consumed the Alsakan fleet, allowing for the Republic forces to sweep in and take down the fleet. Djibril was hailed as a hero. When the Alsakan Crisis ended, Djibril strangely ran for the position of Senator for Obroa-skai. Djibril won with an overwelming majority.
Djibril kept his position as Obroa-skai Senator and a member of the Representative Council of Obroa-skai for twenty years. When the First Hutt War broke out, Djibril worked hard to keep Obroa-skai neutral through the majority of it.
Near the end of the First Hutt War, Djibril secretly met with Sirberius the Hutt, an embassy of the Hutt Empire. Djibril made a pact with the Hutts, ensuring the survival of Obroa-skai. Djibril persuaded the Council to secede from the Republic.
Publicly announcing the secession during a Senate meeting that coincided with the assassination attempt on the Supreme Chancellor, Obroa-skai left the Republic. Assassins tried to kill Djibril a few times, but Djibril tracked down the person behind the conspiracies and had him killed: Takka the Hutt.
With the end of the First Hutt War, Djibril was anointed as the Marquis of Obroa-skai, a term Djibril accepted in order to prevent Hutt plundering of Obroa-skai.
When the Hutts struck Coruscant, Djibril provided all the intel he could provide to the Hutts in regards to any access codes and blueprints for the Senate Building. Though many codes had been outdated and useless, some were useful.
Afterwards, Djibril returned to working on fixing the corruption in the Hutt politics amongst the nobles, so that Tusa' hold would strengthen.
