Meeting with the Council - READ

While the Jedi High Council and its members are concerned for every member of the Order and their personal trials and tribulations, the Council has found itself very busy now that the galaxy has once again plunged into conflict. While we will try our best to meet with those Jedi who are in desperate need of support and guidance, please understand that individual Councilors are frequently away on assignment and that the Council as a whole has found itself shouldering a tremendous workload as it tries to guide the Order into another age of conflict.

Because of this, the Jedi Order has instituted the following policy:

The Council and its individual members, including the Grandmaster, reserve the right to choose whom they will meet, when they will meet them, and where they will meet them. If the Council does not choose to meet with you, then politely request that an individual councilor meets with you - if they too refuse, then accept their answer and ask again at a later date, when their workload has lightened.

In order to request a meeting with the Council, you'll need to post in this thread. If we approve your request, you'll then be free to post in the Jedi Council boards. If we deny it, then we'll move it to the archives until your request can be processed.

Reason for meeting: OOCly Sreeya told me I should approach the Jedi Council. ICly, a lot of people close to him died, and he was left alone to face himself, to reevaluate where he was in his life and how he got there. Because of that, he's staring to doubt everything and regret his past. He's looking for guidance, redemption maybe, and thinks the Jedi have a chance to provide him just that.

I'm afraid we can't meet Raxus and discuss this. We aren't in the habit of mediating family disputes, and if his brother has indeed chosen the path of Darkness, then we will deal with him when the time comes - if Raxus wishes to actually attempt to save his brother, then he will have to do it on his own accord.

After brief discussion, the Grandmaster has agreed to convene on the possibility of redemption for Tullius. Ordinarily we would not agree to this, but with his past experience and his ability with the Force, we feel that it would be foolhardy to ignore the possibility that he may well redeem himself and, in doing so, aid the Jedi Order.

As stressful and frightening as that is, there are dozens of assassination plots formed and visions had regarding the Grandmaster each year - this is nothing new, and although we regret not having the time to aid and guide Algent, the Council as a whole simply does not have the time to help guide him through this troubling chapter in his life.

Though we respect that Mofo Nofo wishes to apologize to the Council and Huang, we do not have the time to hear his apology as we need what precious little time the Council has to be devoted towards the war and gaining new allies. I'm afraid that his request has been denied. You may wish to pen a letter of apology to Huang instead, or, should you wish for it to be distributed, you may send it to the Master of the Order [me] and he will ensure that it is appropriately relayed, so that it may be read at the convenience of individual council members.
