Meeting with the master

Laida had been chosen some time ago to be a shadow, it was an honor, and a curse. She was a Jedi, but she was not at the same time. This was why when she met The Master it was done at night in plain sight. No one was in the gardens, no one would recognize who they were or hear their conversation. Ossus was like that.

Sebastian made his way through the night in utter silence. He blended into the shadows and seemed to flow from place to place at random, yet he knew exactly where he was going. He had know where and when to for days now and he knew that the woman whom he was supposed to be meeting knew the same.

She had been one of the Jedi Shadow nearly as long as he, yet they had never met. Sebastian had deemed it too dangerous. But now, when the Jedi were growing stronger and as were the Bogan it was time for him to meet his lieutenant. A dangerous and cryptic woman he knew, but effective and true beyond belief. She was a gift from some higher power and he would use her.

He had already used her, the killer of Zara, Dark Lady of the Bogan.

"Congratulations on surviving this long," he said to the woman, melting from the shadows and into sight.

"Thank you." Was all she said, being in no mood to describe how dead she actually felt. She'd seen the evil Zara's mind held, all of the darkness. She'd allowed herself to absorb the contents of such a mind, she hid Zara in her mind, behind lock and key. She brushed her hand to a seat next to her. Their meeting would be side by side on a bench.
