Paladins of Mortis Mission Pack 1
The Tiberium Estates Mission Pack: When Have We Ever Refused An Accommodation?
Although the Church had received a warm welcome (as well as generous hospitality) from several local kingdoms, trade republics, and others upon our arrival in Adumar, many believe our presence to be more of a nuisance than an opportunity. One such trade republic, the Tiberium Estates (Squire Rouslyn's own flesh and blood), have actively done their best to hinder the spread of our influence; rumors have begun to circulate that the Estates were the ones to have financially backed Perator ke Foth’s bid for power, however there is no substantial evidence to support this claim. Despite the rumors, the Tiberium Estates remain a relatively respected trade republic, so their influence spreads far. They believe our presence has done more harm than good to the planet’s trade, and have actively spoken out against Empress Tyris’ rule. If we wish to cement our Order’s global, and eventually galactic presence, the Tiberiums must be sated. They have agreed to reconsider their stance on our Church if we could prove beneficial to them.

Mission 1
Gold Coins and a Silver Tongue |
---|
-Objectives: |
[TR2][/TR2][TR2]Being merchants by nature, the Tiberiums and their associates are experienced negotiators and charismatic individuals. They have been actively blocking our efforts to establish far reaching trade routes that span the globe, and thus are bottlenecking our expansion efforts through embargoes and tariffs to those who backed us during the war. To stop this, we must convince them to lift these sanctions, and if we can, gain access to their vast trade network. Meet with one of their representatives and attempt to work out a deal that could benefit the both of us.[/TR2]

Mission 2
That Which Goes “Bump” in the Night |
---|
-Objectives: |
[TR2][/TR2][TR2]The Tiberiums aren't superstitious people, but the same can't be said for their subjects. Lately, there have been reports of “otherworldly” disturbances coming from an isolated mountain village in the region. While this would normally not be a matter of concern, the Council of Merchants have been constantly bombarded with requests of assistance. The Tiberiums don't have any forces, large or small, to handle these rumors at this time so they have requested that we be the ones to handle it. Travel to the village, confirm or debunk the rumors and then proceed accordingly.[/TR2]

Mission 3
Death Stranding |
---|
Objectives: |
[TR2][/TR2][TR2]The Estate has marked this one as urgent: one of the mining tunnels running underneath the republic’s territory has collapsed, leaving numerous workers trapped in the deeper recesses of the planet’s subterranean tunnels. We've been requested to clear the collapsed tunnel, rescue the workers and treat any wounded. Though there is no direct communication to the trapped workers, we know exactly where the collapse happened; however, there have been strange reports of something… unnatural behind the cause of the collapse. These rumors have some merit to them, as the location where the collapse occurred is close to some ancient, undisturbed ruins rumored to have belonged to an ancient Force cult. Proceed with caution.[/TR2]

Mission 4
A Knight’s Tale |
---|
-Objectives: |
[TR2][/TR2][TR2]A neighbor to Dover (the official name of the republic the Tiberium Estates preside over) is holding a tournament to decide who will marry the Duke’s daughter. The Estates have expressed interest in this offer, as the marriage would result in some promising opportunities for them in the future.
Despite their misgivings about our Church, the Estates have voiced their respect of the warriors of our Paladin Order; therefore, they have provided us with an interesting offer: they would ask for one of us (or possibly two) to champion one of the lesser nobles within the republic during the tournament. In return for their champion’s victory, the Estates will allow us to begin using their banking services. This would allow us to secure our funds, and even borrow money from them. For the champion(s) themselves, they will receive a lump sum of credits (negotiable).[/TR2]
