Not only does this introduce a new and efficient way to harvest water, but it also allows the nomadic tribes of Korriban a chance to lay down roots and stay in one place without needing to search for water. The hot, arid planet of Korriban has been largely isolated from the rest of the galaxy. Known to be home to the Sith species - not to be confused with the Sith Order - that were thought to be extinct, this puts Korriban back on the map as a rising galactic power.
“The Sith people have suffered for a long time with cultural and political divides,” King Kressh was quoted saying, “As the first Sith King in centuries to unite the Korriban cities under one banner, I take it as my personal duty to ensure that the livelihoods of all within my domain are greatly improved. The vaporators will not only bring a critical resource to my people, but it will also bring in a new industry and employment opportunities to citizens that saw limited career options in the past. My hope is that with time Korriban plays a bigger role in the Galactic stage and more of Korriban’s children get the chance to see the wider galaxy.”
The news comes only a few weeks after the King of Korriban wedded his two wives. Both wives are said to be taking on empowered roles to help the King govern his planet. One thing is for certain - this is only the beginning of this ambitious King’s story!
