PERSONALITY:
Monlys, like most of his kind, sees himself as a realist and is interested in the acquisition of wealth and reputation. He does, however, have an odd sense of honor not commonly found in the Chevin people. Preferring to use less underhanded tactics while still being brutally effective, Monlys constantly fights the natural urge to use dishonorable means of achieving his goals. Usually rather calm and even-tempered, he has been known to fly into devastating rages when slighted, cheated, or treated in a less than fair manner. The Chevin is fairly blunt and straight forward, speaking his mind as he sees fit. Unfortunately, few trust him due to his races bad reputation.

Born on the Chevin home world of Vinsoth, Monlys was the son of an adviser to one of the Chevin Dictators. Living in this semi-nomadic city, Monlys grew up with political maneuvering and underhanded power grabs. He grew larger than his siblings and peers and was easily the most adept and skilled hunter of the group, but never seemed to take up the political tactics that they adopted so readily. Feeling out of place, Monlys decided to leave Vinsoth and try his luck in the greater galaxy. He became a mercenary, using his hunting skills to make a name for himself.
