Lutom's smile beamed back at Larik. She could feel him. She knew she had something to offer him. "A notorious, remarkably wise, and exceptionally handsome Jedi Master once shared the wisest of words with me. They were, 'I don't care if your Crystal may have slipped out of its vise. Don't ever hold the barrel of your Lightsaber to your eye.'" It is true! And its something that needs saying often, more than anyone hopes would ever actually be necessary. "He also taught me not to judge myself too harshly, or listen to the too critical opinions of others. He taught me that my true friends would hold nothing against me, no matter my faults, failings, or changes I endure, because my path and my purpose, even the way I view the world myself will alter throughout my lifetime. And, that everyone has a value among others which none seem to perceive." Lutomi gave Larik's hand a squeeze. "He is still my teacher today. Without him in my life, I would be forced to change even more than I already must." Today, Lutomi stood at the threshold of critical changes which thankfully gave her time to prepare for them, but they hadn't always occurred so smoothly. The War, the Grays' stance with the Council's decisions, the recurring onset of Larik's syndrome, each struck like a viper, creating much turmoil for her people to face. So much of a Jedi's life is spent focussing on their purpose to affect the greater good. Things which don't fit neatly into that particular criteria just aren't often embraced by Jedi, as if the label itself holds no room for such personal growth!

"You taught me to watch others around me. I see what people strive for, whom we protect out there on those other planets. We got all that right here between us too. Family! We have been through so much, but I never thought we'd be right here. I know our little Larik is going to want to know the man who he is named after!" She didn't know if Reland had yet told Larik their baby will be named after him, but she knew it would give him an ounce of hope. She used to fear life's changes; not anymore! "I'm ready!" If she were asked, she would admit that her family means more to her than her duties as a Jedi.

For a brief moment the music paused while she stood at her end of the aisle, arm in arm with Larik. Lutomi immediately realized she could hear her own heartbeat. Everyone stood and turned to look their way, when she saw him. There stood Reland awaiting this Bride's procession. She felt a strong urge to just run up the aisle right up to him, but after Larik's recent recovery from Paralysis and her own physical limitations, she managed to contain her desire. She milked this once in a lifetime experience for every measure of its expression.

It is not often that one steps out of their obligations to just exist. To be welcome to share in life with another, is a great gift. Everything else melted away at this moment as she focussed on him. Lutomi mentally latched onto Reland's presence and she allowed it to swallow up her own.

Another pang hit her just then. It seems her experience did not escape li'l Larik who seemed to demand attention all his own, jealous enough to want to be born today as well. Lutomi halted in her tracks for just a moment, stifling a cry of pain. She could not help but squeeze Larik's hand tightly. She laughed lightly once the pain passed and they proceeded. She is ready alright! But why did it take so long to arrange this gathering? She mused, 'Damn the timing!'

Its humbling when you fully comprehend that you never felt more comfortable with a single human being. Every realization about the world, every experience, you want to share it with them. Somehow, everything stops being all about yourself, and it is all about them. There was always Xotomi, that just happens to be how Lutomi came into this world, not alone. Heron and Nakshi's coming to stay with Lutomi, opened her up in a way she never could have foreseen. Rane and Kai, her Apprentices, they all helped her evolve into who she is today. Life not worthy to be shared, was her life as a Sith. Lutomi was pulled from it first by Larik, Xotomi followed soon after into Sisk's arms. Sadly, concerning Reland, she had tried to separate from him once before. Gladly, it was an unacceptable existence for the both of them. No singular person had ever taught her about love as had he. Never again would she ever try to live apart, for finding one another anywhere throughout the Universe is just something that they both happen to be remarkably successful at to date.

Lutomi smiled to Rane first, then to Kai as she passed, noting a glimmer in Kai's eyes. She wondered just what her honorary Jedi son is up to, noticing the bright smile of the woman next to the young man. Lutomi returned her gaze to Reland at the end of the aisle. Orlaan looked like a big, dangerous teddybear standing next to Reland. She wondered what Reland would say or do, if he ever learned that Orlaan once tried for weeks to convince her that "Jedi should just get accustomed to seeing one another naked all the time while camping out during training." 'Yeah, that would not bother Reland at all,' she thought, hoping her lover did not clearly perceive her intrusive thought, before she cleared her mind once again and got lost in the sentiment of the symbolic moment her eyes locked with his, as she completed her approach.

A strange feeling settled over her, as she took hold of Reland's welcoming hand. It was as if the Force vaguely warned about something, something about to possibly occur.

The Jedi began the ceremony, Lutomi couldn't believe it is finally happening, any of it! She would not even recognize her life today, if she had travelled through time to witness this day. She has grown so much since she first met Reland on Lamaredd. She smiled softly as she found she could not withdraw her gaze. He never looked so happy to her as he now appears, like a man who has everything. She felt truly blessed, a commonly elusive state during such times as these.

As Josis sat at his seat near the back, he couldn't help but notice that everyone else was socialising and chatting while he sat alone near the back. He felt left out slightly as he watched everyone chat and have fun. He suddenly felt the extreme force presence as he noticed the Grandmaster's force presence. He gawked as he realised that he was in the presence of one of the most powerful Jedi alive to this date. He soon after noticed the stupid Hutt demanding a drink, like he owned the place. It made him sick as he tried to conceal his annoyance towards the Hutt. He didn't like them, not one bit. He looked away from the Hutt as he quietly sat and watched all the other guests. It made him sad as he watched everyone chat between each other. He recognized only a few people, even then they wouldn't talk to someone like him. He knew that Zabic was an ex-sith but he felt out of place as he watched everyone have fun. The Sith never really had these kinds of ceremonies as they were cruel and quickly able to punish you for any fun or joy you felt. It got to the point where you didn't feel joy or happiness any more, it was just a feeling of dread.

He noticed Zabic wave at him as he sat alone at the back. He waved back shyly, laughing slightly. He resisted the urge to walk up and take to her, so he stayed where he was. Councilman Gil and the grandmaster took their places he quickly snapped back to the wedding style
