Waving off Maya to be silent for the moment, Kai's gaze shifted between the three Jedi standing before him almost impassively, gauging their expressions, their body language, and the voices of the two who spoke. As he did so he reached out with the Force, sensing each one individually and lightly feeling their minds. Kai had seen Gwen and Bren before, but the third, this new girl, Kai hadn't seen her face yet. It was upon this new girl whom he spent most of his time and effort studying. She seemed different, at war with herself. Perhaps it was the sensation of the dark side within her that he was feeling, warring with her light side nature. Curious. He would need to speak to this one in depth.

Drawing his thoughts back in, Kai blinked as he smiled at the Jedi present. "Gwen, it is good to see you back," he nodded, then looking to Bren, acknowledged him with a nod as well. "Ah, Bren, you are Khivas' student, yes? You can fill me in on the details of your mission is a moment, for now I would like to make the acquaintance of your injured friend here. She seems most... intriguing."

Red waited for a response, idly standing there. She was looking directly into the masters eyes. There was no longer a sense of fear of now. But a sense of anger and determination. Red didn't bother to move. She stood chest high and with posture. She looked around at the moment at the outpost. Glancing down at torn robes, then to the other two Jedi who had helped her. She still seemed not to trust them. She looked back to the master before saying her name.

"Padawan Red at your service Master Kai Sera"

Red had said in a formal manner. She seemed to have no distaste or scorning only curiosity and even a small bit of respect.

Nodding at the girl who introduced herself as just Red, an apparent Padawan, Kai hummed inquisitively. He was more curious now as he felt the anger and determination in her. This made Kai wonder if it was directed at any of them or something else. She had good posture, and despite her ragged and wounded appearance, she still managed to address Kai with a tone of respect and courtesy. Looking to Maya, Kai motioned for the Padawan to move forward to help. "Do what you do." Kai remarked tersely. "So, Red, how did you end up wounded? And how did you end up with these two?"

Looking at the other two Jedi, Kai motioned them to come closer and relax. "Perhaps you can explain to me your sides of the story as well?"

"Well.., It all started when I had hired, a pilot to take me to Naboo,"

She looked to her side her face turning rather angry and a slight growl forming. But she quickly corrected herself looking back towards the master jedi. She seemed to say the next few words in a heavily scorning manner. Maybe even abit of arrogance included in her tone. It is hard to tell, while talking her body seems to stiffen up, tense up ect. Become more angry.

"T..That Damn Pilot crashed the ship into Naboo, I barely managed to stay awake.. Didn't hurt that much to be frank.."

She seems to be honest, although her physical appearance showed otherwise. She appeared to have something driven through her shoulder and shrapnel scatter parts of her body, and she seemed that.. She may have dealed with it a bit differently at the time. But if you sense her with the force you can tell shes being rather honest.

"After that, Scavengers came to loot the Jedi..I..I would have none of it to be honest. I killed one or two.., They meant no harm until after that. Then the two Jedi came in. They helped scare'em off. Took me here 'n all.. "

Bren listened silently. He wondered what kind of pilot would be capable of crashing the ship like that. It almost didn't look like an accident.

"T-there's not much more for me to say, Master." Bren said, looking around first. "I've seen a crashing ship and I went to help the survivors. Red here was surrounded by many scavengers. Talking didn't help and they'd probably kill us if Gwen didn't show up."

Red rolled her eyes, looking to Bren doing a hand gesture "Not really...," She would say, sounding pretty confident , She didn't sound like she was deceiving you, but herself. She looked back to the master idly waiting for a response. Rolling on the balls of her feet. Not much else to say.

Gwen nodded her head to the master in respect and took posture before responding in the way her father had taught her to in the royal form. She honestly didn't want to reply that way, but she did as it was proper. "It is an honor to be back Master. If only my father didn't want me to continue his legacy, I would be training here full time." She said with a small smile adjusting the buckle to her shoulder armor.

Gwen listened to the conversation until he motioned for the two Jedi to come forward to tell their side of the story. Gwen nodded and came closer to him.

Gwen raised an eyebrow to what his young girl was saying. She sensed the young padawan's anger and it sent a shiver down her back. Would Red truly become a Jedi? Or would she turn before her time? Gwen didn't know. "Young Red, we had no choice but to bring you to a safe place. And this was the only place I could think of." She gave a reassuring smile to the girl hoping she would realize that Gwen was a princess (who didn't care that she was one and would rather be someone else) and an 18 year old girl who wanted to help her.

Bren listened silently. He wondered what kind of pilot would be capable of crashing the ship like that. It almost didn't look like an accident.

She looked to Bren and gave a small smile saying 'thank you' before she looked back to Kai. "I arrived in time to see Bren trying to negotiate with scavengers, that I take to have attacked Red's ship, looking for supplies or something. Once I had gotten there, I found Red terribly injured which I managed to heal a good portion to keep her alive, Bren and then a good number of scavengers. They seemed to back away once I arrived and warned that they'd not forget that and that they would most likely be back to the location." She responded the best she could with what she remembered.

Red rolled her eyes, looking to Bren doing a hand gesture "Not really...," She would say, sounding pretty confident , She didn't sound like she was deceiving you, but herself. She looked back to the master idly waiting for a response. Rolling on the balls of her feet. Not much else to say.
Gwen looked back to Red and responded to her 'Not really' comment. "Red you could have died. And I wasn't going to just leave you there."

Listening to the reports of each Padawan regarding how they all managed to come together and be before him, the Jedi Master found himself slightly curious as to the Padawans' attitudes to the whole thing. The story itself seemed believeable enough to be true. There didn't seem to be any obvious falsehoods that he could tell, and the discrepancies could be easily explained away. He was a little worried about the attitude Red seemed to be taking to the whole matter. She was being arrogant, even hot-headed, and condescending about it, not very Jedi-like behavior.

"Padawans," Kai remarked as he raised his hands up to prevent any more disagreements from being spoken which might spark an argument, "That's enough." His voice was quite obviously terse with an undercurrent of annoyance to it. The Councilor had heard enough to make his own opinion on the situation. A slight frown formed over his lips as he spoke again, "Thank you for giving me your statements. Gwen, you did the right thing bringing them here. Bren, what do you have to add for your mission?" Kai asked, he stood patiently as he waited. When Bren had gone over the details of his mission he looked to Red hesitantly, thoughtfully, "I'd like you all to follow me inside so we may continue our talk in a more formal matter. You too, Maya."

Realizing the error of her ways her head bowed in quick shame, easily sensing annoyance in't his tone even if just a little made Red panic. beginning to sweat and didn't look the Jedi in the eye. She looked to the side holding back tears of fear. A a sniffle evidently showing she was on the brink of them. She clearly was taking the smallest thing to big, along with a complete switch of attitudes. Something was amiss . Or was it simply just her? You could tell, but you could tell she was stuttering in her speech

"Y-y-yes Master" She bowed her hand, connecting her hands infront of her attempting to be formal. Although she was overwhelmed.

Bren nodded and bowed. "Master, my mission on Naboo was a success." he said, taking a datapad out of his pocket. "I have managed to recover the lost Naboo maps, and I have even acquired plans of the most important buildings. It's all in here." He gave Kai the datapad and then stepped back again, waiting to follow him. This Red was not okay... even a Padawan such as Bren could feel that. He sensed... fear? Anger, even. Maybe the passengers of that crashed ship were close to her, Bren assumed.

Gwen watched as Red's demeanor suddenly changed from anger to shame. She looked to Bren who stepped forward explaining his completed mission. Looking back to the master, responding to his comment to her. "Thank you master." She said calming as she sensed a shift in the force of something that had been really close to her. Inside she felt fear, pain and sadness. And shame. What was the shame for? She looked in the way towards her home realizing it had come from there. She wanted to run there and see what it was, but on the outside her face never changed from the small smile she had on her face. She didn't want to worry anyone. Instead, she continued following the master to the place he would lead them to.
