I'm your not so average Amaran living on Corellia. Typically, I'm considered a bit of an oddball mostly because I like working with tech. In fact, it's basically how I make my living. Never really had any folks to begin with, so things were sort of tough while living with crotchety old man Zyga. Thing is, he's softie at heart and he taught me basically all I know so far. Most of the people on my planet leave for other places like to trade, be beast tamers, or other things like that. For me? I personally like repairing machines and figuring out how they work. I've worked with droids, some vehicles, and other machinery, and frankly I wouldn't have it any other way. So, let me go ahead and tell you about what kind of things I do in my freetime and my "dreams for the future" sort of deal.
Zyga is the current owner of the shop, and my goal is to work hard enough so that I can inherit it from him. After all, I am his apprentice. For now, I'm gonna explore around the galaxy and meet all sorts of people, see all sorts of technology, and maybe see if I can gain some fame. Since I'm so young, he doesn't trust me to do much, but I studied, got lectured, and often times just work on things by myself. He says I'm pretty talented though and he leaves me to do all of the small work. He says he bought me when I was a baby, and it really doesn't matter anyways. He treats me pretty well and I even get a little paycheck for the jobs I do. I eat three meals a day and he's pretty cool I guess. On slow days, that's when I get to goof around, or whenever there's a holiday or something like that.
Not much to do for fun on Corellia in free time, so typically I study, but we have a little shooting range out back where I get to practice using a blaster or two. It isn't what it was originally built for though. We typically had it out there so that we can test if a weapon we fixed is working or not. I have a couple of little targets set up and I get to use a stun blaster to practice. We have those because when we activate a droid out back, sometimes it acts a little dumb or wonky and needs to be deactivated before getting back on track. Besides, it's a little treasure yard back there. Zyga has had this place long before I was even born, so whenever I go rummaging around, I never know what I might find. I like to go running around, climbing, rummaging, bunch of stuff like that. Been told I'm really active and agile, but Zyga says that by the time I'm his age, I'm just gonna wanna sleep and relax all the time. He's an old man though, and I'm never gonna get old, like...ever. Man, imagine getting old...
Heard there was good work for the Jedi Order to be had in terms of being a mechanic, so that's where I'm headed.

Nola is a friendly kid that's there to help with minor repairs in the workshop. She's bright, pretty sociable, and is a enemy to nobody, that is unless you're intentionally trying to. She's a hard worker and a scholar of sorts to anything that is mechanical. She likes listening to people and their stories and she's quite the innocent individual. Nola likes to make herself well known as someone that's a useful individual, and frankly she is maybe a bit too passive for her own good. On top of this, she lacks a lot of experience about how life works. So, generally, she listens to those that are older than her, especially her mentor Zyga. For a kid though, she's not bad to have around, at least she would like to think so.
She's also rather naive, perceiving the galaxy as this huge and grand place for adventure and exploration, but frankly she doesn't realize how dangerous it is either. The young Amaran can get a bit excitable and she can get bored a bit easily, also a bit of a short attention span to things that don't interest her, but that could be said for a lot of kids. She does respect authority, the law, goodness, and above all else in the galaxy, she values the happiness of herself. Another thing is that she's kind. Making other people happy can make her happy at times too, and she enjoys the little things. Not exactly the most ambitious, she has some very cut clear goals that are realistic and can be accomplished in steps. Not easily put down, she tends to get past disheartening things pretty quickly. Hopefully she will grow more as a person as time passes on and she gets older.
As a side note, despite being an Amaran mechanic, she does enjoy spending time with animals to an extent, just not enough to the point where she'd actually work with them her whole lives. Animals are not predictable, unlike technology. She though does acknowledge her Amaran culture to an extent despite growing off world and she occasionally works with them, at times making devices or such to help them with their own businesses. She's certainly not spoiled, and she's willing to work for everything, but in tandem she acknowledges that everything, even the work she does has a price also. Though her heart might get in the way, she's slowly growing to learn how to be a business woman, she's going to need it.

Mechanic: She has a bit more than rudimentary understanding of how most forms of machinery work and how they function. At her current skill level, she can repair weapons, contraptions, most droids, and even do various repairs to vehicles assuming she has the materials and tools required. While she isn't a grand master of the craft yet, she can easily make a good living on her own doing this line of work. As a result, she'd be willing to try getting some experience by working for other people.
Agile Movements: She has particularly a flexible and dexterous body type due to her Amaran heritage. While she isn't exactly trained to do so, she's used to jumping, climbing, rummaging, and doing all sorts of physical labor. She's also very good at handling tools, particularly engineering ones. She's been trained by a professional and after most of her life training, she knows the ins and outs of how to use her tools efficiently.
Force Sensitive [Undiscovered]: She is unaware of the force, or rather her sensitivity to it. She has rarely has sensations that could be considered a gut feeling. However, this may also be due to the fact she has never met a force user and or sensitive being while in her short life. On top of this she has been living a relatively sheltered life as a simple mechanic. Thus, she lies ignorant of her hidden skill.
