Basically, yeah.
Our main broadcasting services recently brought in a "law" that in order for anyone to discuss LGBT issues live in television, even if they're a homosexual individual expositing how they feel oppressed by societal and cultural norms, there now has to be a counter argument to their point, or they can't express it. So in order for a gay person to speak on gay issues, a bigot literally has to be present in order for them to do so.
Like, America as it stands ****ing sucks, but my country is fairing a little worse, for all the promises and virtues the nations represent, they've a long ****ing way to go.
