Some singer on the voice, one woman, got shot signing autographs. Everywhere you look, inspirational quotes by her and "RIP" messages, not today.

The club shooting has had non-stop coverage on the news, social media, from world leaders, etc. Christina Grimmie got way less attention. She got a lot of outpouring of emotion and love following her murder, as well she should. She was an incredible talent taken way too soon. But it definitely didn't get more than the club shooting. She got a proportional amount.

If anything, while it pales in comparison to the club shooting, I'm disappointed that the coverage she might have gotten, in order to highlight her talent to a wider audience, won't happen now. Not that that's more important than the fact that 50+ people were murdered, but it's a shame nonetheless.

Also ISIS must get nuked.

Yeah we should totally take out one group with a nuclear weapon that will kill thousands of innocent civilians on holy soil.

Because that won't radicalize even more people and cause more problems at all.

Nor will it be seen as a gross overreaction by an increasingly xenophobic country.

Tristyn, it's exactly comments like your previous one that lead to violent attitudes in the first place. Violence does not cease with more violence, but only with compassion. If more people understood that the world would be a better place.

On topic - I'm deeply saddened and abhorred by this event. I came out this year, so it struck a nerve. I'm lost for words at how people can continuously do such terrible things to others. I don't usually get emotional so it's hard for me to put how I feel into words.

This is one of the reasons why I left religion. This man said he pledged allegiance to ISIS, so he's clearly indicating it was a religious matter that prompted him to do this.
