Anyone have ideas what planet we might like to take over next? I was thinking Bilbringi, since its defenses aren't great and because it's a shipyard world. However, I want to hear what y'all think. Thoughts, anyone?

this shipyard sounds very useful...once we have it, the Mandalorians could produce many ships and things like that...

the only thing is, it may be open for some smugglers or whatever to take ships if we don't have many people there...maybe.

anyway, this would be a good planet to take.

actually we should take as many Jedi planets as possible while they're in exile...then they won't have many defenses...

okay...then one way to find out that they are in exile would be to travel to Coruscant and see it's under Sith control...then we would know...

ok...but we need a reason to be a coruscant. or at least have somebody on break time at coruscant, notice, and then do something about it.

We are allied with the Sith; Nefarius and Mandalore are in constant contact, and I have known about the Sith's planned invasion of Coruscant for months now, both OOC and IC.

Dxun and Nar Shaddaa ain't bad ideas. If we took Dxun, it'd be good if we took Onderon too.

Oh, and Darman, we wouldn't have to worry about smugglers at Bilbringi; it is an out-of-the-way planet (unlike, say Ord Mantell or Eriadu, which are both in main trade routes), and surrounded by asteroids and debris, which make it difficult to fly in and out of if you are not actively tracking their locations. Bilbringi ground control is forced to do this whenever ships want to go out, but if you want to come in, then the ground control has to give you the proper flight path.

We already have Sluis Van and Eriadu, two major shipyards. In addition, planet Mandalore itself produces vast amounts of ships. Taking another one would certainly be advantageous, but not necessary.

Well I would've commanded you to do that anyway.

But before the conquering can begin, we still need to know exactly what planet to conquer.

Dxun & Onderon are a possibility, as is Bilbringi. Nar Shaddaa is tempting, but difficult to pull off. Then again, with Coruscant collapsing, it is very unlikely that they will have any support whatsoever. The entire navy is just random ships with no coordination anyway.

What else could we take over though? C'mon people, think!

Well Bilbringi would get us ships...

but Nar Shaada would get us recruits possibly...since there are a bunch of mercs there...

True 'dat, and it would also secure our status as not only a major force in the galaxy, but a sort of haven for those who are wanted by the galaxy, since we control planets like Nar Shaddaa, Eriadu, and Ord Mantell.

I would advise that when we strike (Yes I relise I never use farlan) you hit several worlds at once, you don't want to isolate yourselves, if you take Bilbringi it will be isolated form yoru other worlds which leaves it open to attack.

are we using this plan for Bilbringi still?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Mandalore @ Sep 11 2006, 05:49 PM) </div>
Okay, here's the plan in its entirety

A small insertion team hand-picked by myself will make their way to Bilbringi's ground, disguised. We will make our way to the palace on Bilbringi and attack them from the inside out; Bilbringi, though having an impressive fleet, posseses few people, and therefore needs only a few key leaders and power supplies. We will assassinate their leader, and disable their power sources. They will be defenseless should we choose to attack them, and in their leaderless, panicked state, they will have no choice but to surrender.

If they do not surrender, we will have our fleet waiting behind the asteroid belt surrounding Bilbringi.
They expect an overt attack from space, like on Eriadu and on Sluis Van. They will not be expecting a stealthy, lightning-quick ground attack.

?

I actually converted that plan to the attack on Ord Mantell. Remember, Darman, that RP where we asassinated all the leaders on Ord Mantell....?

However, its still a viable plan. If we attack Bilbringi, we'll still use it.

And Matt's right. However, what other planets would we want to attack, should we attack Bilbringi?

yea. we should have matt lead one and you in the other. take both in one swoop. after all, we do have superior firepower over both. however, that leaves someone to npc the planets.

We still have to decide what planets we are going to attack -_-...

I figure Bilbringi and one other Inner Rim planet.

then maybe next week go for Dxun & Onderon...
