Improvise? Improvisation greatly depends on one's surroundings, as the same improvisation won't work in every locale. "It would depend on the location, my surroundings, the particular enemy. I suppose the use of a side arm could be effective, if say one were carrying a flash bomb. Such a weapon would be effective for disabling a foe and rescuing that family of six you were talking about."

One thing that can be used anywhere, is diversions. My personal favorite is tossing an item in the air. More often then not, your opponent will wonder why you threw an object and watch it. That leaves them open.

Jas nodded slightly. It could be a useful tactic, but he thought his master was overestimating him. In order to throw something at the moment, he'd need to bend down and pick something up, he didn't know how to levitate anything yet. Not by command, anyway, only instinctively.

An idea shot through his head, but didn't necessarily think it through. Did it have to be a rock? Training sabers weren't real lightsabers, but they could still burn through stuff. Backing away, Jas quickly drove his saber into the floor of the temple and then thrust upward, trying to send hot embers at his master.

With this done, he'd quickly move in with saber in hand, attempting to stab at his master's abdomen.

Galykia channeled the force through him and used telekinesis to stop the embers. He then immediatly sidestep the thrust at his abdoman, just barely missing.

Excellent, I have never seen that one before. Good thinking, your head is one of your most important weapons and tool.

Jas figured now would be a good time to stop his assault, but it wasn't for fatigue or anything. He'd just received a compliment from his master, a compliment on his improvisation! Furthermore, he'd nearly hit his master with his thrust! Incredible. He didn't think it'd be so effective. Stopping his assault, he stood there facing his master, returning to his first, neutral stance.

Thank you, Master, but that trick won't work every time I think..

Don't be fooled, their is nothing that works every single time. Now I will show you a defensive stance. Copy. Galykia kept his legs spread at a comfortable distance as he ignited his weapon. He held the weapon's silver hilt with both hands, several inches away from his chest.
