Fort Ypso
Vandor

Rezyl shivered as he wrapped his cloak around himself, his breath condensing in the air as he stepped off the freighter he had hired to get him there, this world was far colder than he was used, looking at the village that clung to the cliff face. "I hope he's here, Aurren" he sighed to himself before making his way to The Lodge.

The lodge was different from most other cantinas and saloons had been to, not many places still used wood for building, but for some inexplicable reason it felt like relaxing for rezyl even though he knew this saloon wasn't the safest of places, he approached the bar grabbing the attention of the bartender " I'm looking for a Mandalorian or group of them that frequent here" the bartender didn't say a word simply pointing to a table across the room where the back of an armoured helmet could be made "Thank you"

He approached the table, his palms grew sweaty and his breath grew shorter, this would be the first time he would interact with Mandalorian that wasn't Aurren and the apprehension that he would be rejected begin to grow in his mind. "Ex-excuse me, are you Oruck Skirata?"

Atuu hadn't expected to be in the Sloo Sector much less on Vandor in a cantina much like this one. An old trade contact had called this place home from time to time as The Den served as a hostel for passing folk. With his tribe missing Atuu was grasping at straws to find other mandalorians to fall in with even if only for a time, to bring some sort of normal to his life. Aurren Rook was the man his father used to supply some harder to find things like medicines and other needs of refugees to. But now Atuu was looking to meet with this man and see if he could continue what his father had done, if not for the good nature but for the credits.

He was mid conversation with another patron asking about the man in question when a voice came from behind. One that spoke his fathers name and one that was unfamiliar to him, causing a wave of emotions to crash through him all at once. Turning in his seat and throwing a shoulder over its back he caught the figure of a lean and tall boy. A face he did not recognize and with a quick nod he excused himself from the table to stand and greet the figure "Atuu Skirata, Oruck wa-... Is my father." Giving the boy a look over he didn't bear any beskar or any typical mandalorian equipment. "What can I do for you?"

The question was posed to answer his own questions more than to be one of an offer. Any information he could get on the potential where-abouts or transmissions from his people was worth more than its weight in credits to Atuu. If this young man had anything relevant to say Atuu was keen to hear it.

Tezyln looked into the man's visor, wondering what the man was thinking behind it, he knew the Mandalorian was most definitely size him up from behind it, he only hoped he was willing to help him as he wasn't the man he was looking for but at least he had a connection to the man, that was the step in the right direction for now

His mouth felt dry as he responded "I'm Rezyl Azzir, The fledgeling of Aurren Rook... I was his fledgeling, I mean." with the amount of loss Rezyl had suffered through. he thought it would get easier to accept it but the sting never did seem to lessen.

"He left me a message for me to go find your father and continue as his fledgeling" he thought best he lay everything so that Atuu could hopefully understand his situation.

A fledgling, in a similar situation of Atuu... Did this galaxy have no bounds, no compassion, give no breaks or anything of the sort? It seemed not. "Bid bic seems mhi hob bintar ti dayn cuun buir ibic tuur." Looking on the boy with pity from behind his helmet, a heavy wave of sadness coming over him momentarily. Followed quickly by pity "Come-" Atuu began as he lead him towards a booth without occupancy, sitting in the small booth big enough for two "-show me this message." Prompting with a finger towards whatever message the boy was talking about, presumably his droid if it was in tow.

While he waited for Rezyl to get his things in order Atuu would remove his helmet, letting the breathing tubes retract into the life support module. Setting it on the ground to his right and motioning for the barkeep who began toward them with a pair of menus in hand. What in the galaxy could have prompted this interaction? That was one of the many questions floating around in Atuu's head, and more importantly... What in the world was Atuu going to be able to teach him.

Rezyl nodded in silence to the words Atuu spoke, understand their meaning but not wishing to add to them. it seemed he was still running with bad luck, first Aurren, now Oruck. It seemed fate didn't want him to continue his journey to becoming a Mandalorian.

He followed after Atuu to the empty booth, sitting down revealed the droid following behind him quietly, an ID-21. it stared Atuu it's lense focusing in on him, observing him. "Dsi, show him the message," the droid turned to Rezyl making few beeps "I know, but I trust him." It moved over the table and fire up its holoprojector.

From the holoprojector, a helmeted mandalorian appeared on the table hued in blue, sat what appeared to be a tree stump of some kind "Rezyl... if you're watching this it means I'm no longer a part of this world, and you deserve at very least, to see my face with about my to say" taking off the helmet revealed the face of man in his late 40s to early 50s, with a dark hair going grey around the sides with salt & pepper beard.

"I built up a lot of regrets in my life, but you aren't one of them but the longer this hunt goes more I realise it's going to end blood, mine or yours, and I can't bear to see any more dead kids. So I made the choice and I hope you can forgive me, for leaving your journey... unfinished." Aurren breathed a deep sigh, rubbing his face.

"If you still want to continue on that journey, Find Oruck Skirata, he's an old friend and much better mandalorian than me, he and his clan will treat you as one of their own and help you on your journey, Dsi has all the info on how to find him and remember, Ni cuyir Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la " Aurren's eyes looked down at the ground, darting around for a few seconds before the hologram pauses as he puts on his helmet and stands up.

Rezyl's eye were red and shiny as the message ended, but there was a smile on his face. "I don't know how many times I've watched this, just to hear his voice, one more time" He spoke nonchalantly at Atuu, staring at the frozen image of Aurren, his voice cracking a little due to the tightness in his throat making it hard for him to swallow.
