That sounds strangely similar to what the Death Watch says. Retake the galaxy to prove Mando dominance. Are there even enough of us to undertake a campaign of that magnitude?

Not after this current war. Thousands of Mando'ade will die in the Battle for Coruscant alone. Suffice to say, the Clan Leaders will be taking the clans back to Mandalore after this and I doubt we'll ever be involved in a large scale war like this in this timeline.

That is NOT me saying you cannot take up mercenary work after the timeskip. The exact opposite really, I heartily encourage it. I fully expect to see Mandalorians on both sides after the time-skip. Because that's what Mandos have always done. A job is a job, there is no ill-will if one's employer wants Mandos to fight against the Mandos on the other side.

Are we really that few in number? I mean I know we cut back at some point while i was gone but I didn't think it was that bad.

From what I understand, and Vencu can correct me on this, we have taken quite significant casualties on our push towards the Core. We've won, no doubt, smashing the Alliance aside at every turn, but at cost.

I'm pretty sure there's been a cost, but not enough to decimate our forces to that magnitude. I mean, last time I heard, there were over a billion warriors.

I would wait for Corden's weighing in on this particular matter.

Oh, in terms of players. Then no, we're fine in that regard. But I don't see you going off to conquer the galaxy by yourself T.J x)

I wouldn't say we've sustained enough casualties to hinder us in any way, but we've certainly lost a lot of great warriors. That's to be expected from any war. We haven't been involved in the war for very long, though. This invasion was our first engagement against the Alliance as a faction. We used overwhelming force and blitzkrieg tactics to take them by storm and we hit them when and where they least expected it, which saved us a lot of time and might have cut down on some of the casualties we could have sustained if we had attacked a prepared enemy.

Most planetary sieges last a lot longer than these have, though. It was crucial to our plan that we jump from system to system in quick succession, so we couldn't just sit back and plan things as carefully as we might have if it were any other war. We didn't land, form a beachhead, and slowly but surely take over a planet... we went down in force, all at once, throwing everything we had at them. Think D Day.

So yes, casualties would have been high, but I don't think it would be detrimental to us. Think about all the adoptions, too. When Mandalorians invade a planet, we don't just kill everyone. We get new recruits. Orphans, prisoners. You also have to consider the baby boom that is likely to occur when our army returns to the Mandalore Sector.

Gazer asked the question I was about to. Which thread do we join for the assault of Triple Zero?

Whichever ones you want, really. I'd choose threads where there are more good guys than bad guys though. I think the Jedi Temple Gates is a lightstick only event though, but it wouldn't hurt to ask in the respective OOC threads.

Why don't a few of you branch off one of the active threads, starting your own? No one said you couldn't have a Mando-only thread (or just start another and invite a few people with GA characters).

I will share an idea I've alluded to in previous Rp's now and then, simply as minor references. Basically, a set of co-ordinates turn up, leading to... well, an interesting cache of Mandalorian technology.

Big guns are cool, but it's the smart warrior who wins the battle.
