Why the hell was she here? Oh right carrying out a karking deal she didn't like. Sera remembered now the deal she took with her illustrious 'partner'. Normally if you asked Sera to go on a sketchy weapons sale, on a planet she didn't know about, with a person she just met who seemed hell bent on getting her fix... Sera would tell you to kark off. The flag's in her mind were redder than the eyes and lipstick of Alana.

Yet here she was, that's the thing about being poor you sometimes didn't have the freedom to say no, especially when she was being offered a good cut to join this backwater cowgirl on her adventure. She only gave two conditions to Alana. No Hutts, No Slavers.

She had been silent throughout most of the trip keeping to herself. Now she was leaning against a shack with a nice bit of shade. She was getting a gnawing sensation at the back of her mind as the time to the deal grew closer and closer. Sera didn't like this and was playing with her hair as a nervous tick.

"I don't like this, you sure they're coming?" She mouthed off to her partner a tone of impatience in her voice. Her eyes darted about side to side looking out for anyone that looked off.

Making a 'popping' sound with her lips and patting her hip holster, Alana was making a very original cover of some unheard of band, as they stood about just trying to kill time. She was honestly surprised Sera was game for this little meet up, but hey, she didn't want to go to an arms deal alone; besides, she liked the girls' look and style. Not to mention she was moral on top of that, so Alana felt she could trust her not to backstab her; though Astra would have gone nuclear if she knew about this whole affair. With her deathstick having been spent, Alana found she wasn't being treated to her usual sensation of 'high', rather was just having those damn sensations dulled. She couldn't get a higher dosage if she tried, but she tried not to linger on how her only cure for her illness seemed to not be working. Maybe once she hit the bounty hunting world she could get enough credits to find a medical professional.

As time passed she glanced over to Sera who was having the time of her life of course, which brought a smile to Alana's face. It reminded her of all the times she had spent with Astra back at home. "Oh, they're coming alright. Arms dealers don't pass up a good deal for nothing. Probably just got stopped at a checkpoint. Don't you worry none. They'll be here." She affirmed, before looking down to the ground and tugging her hat. "They better be." She added, muttering under her breath. There was going to be some hell to pay if this bastard skipped out on them.

Arden was whistling casually in the small shack he was hiding in, clearly in a world of his own as he worked on sorting some items out. Dressed in his trademark armour with both of his trusty pistols, he was clearly ready for action. This time he also brought along some jet boots, just in case.

He finally pulled a suitcase from a crate and placed it on a table. flicking up the locks, he opened the case to reveal a bunch of weapon parts and started to assemble them one by one. Eventually he stood with an oversized sniper rifle in his hands and slung it over his shoulder. He started to ascend a ladder and placed the weapon on the roof of the shack. He was a couple hundred meters away from where the deal was supposed to go down. That shipment would help a ton, he couldn't let it slip past him.

He scanned the area, hidden from view by a nice bit of shade being cast over him. There wasn't a chance they would see any lense flare. And he had a really quick route to the deal and away from his position, this job was going to be spotless.

He stopped whistling when he spotted someone near the site. A newbie that looked like she slit her wrists and listened to punk rock on a daily basis...that was fine, he dated worse. The other one was a pleasant surprise. He smiled happily as he stared at her face through his scope, tempted to shoot the death stick out of her mouth just to mess with her. But he needed to remain hidden for now. Still, it was quite pleasant to see his good friend Alana here.

Sera was trying to appreciate the little song the backwater woman was singing but it just wasn't her taste. Sera preferred her music to have a more electric quality to it. Still it was something to focus her mind on as this little part of Balmorra felt more and more lonesome. She didn't like it as that gnawing sensation kept eating at her. Alana's words did nothing to ease her either. No matter what she couldn't shake the feeling she and Alana were being watched. She hated it especially with how wide open this space had so many open sightlines and Sera was just wishing that she could hide in some narrow nook that only she could fit in, Hutts were always too fat for those.

She couldn't stand it anymore, quickly reaching into her inside jacket pocket right next to her concealed blaster. She quickly pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter quickly lighting up a cigarette and putting it to her mouth. Taking a nice slow drag Sera could feel the smoke begin to coat her lungs and pleasantly burn away, holding it in for a good bit of time she then sighed a slow smooth exhale as smoke now collected in the air around her and an aroma taking hold. She found her nerve return to her now, as the act alone seemed to have more relaxing power than any tobacco inside the cigarette. Taking a few draws she would begin to scan the area as which was a construction site. Suddenly her eyes effortlessly locked on a new movement.

An A-A5 was heading towards them kicking up a trail of dirt as it's repulsors passed over the loose gravel. Sera quickly glanced over to Alana now noticing the spent deathstick and already having a tinge of annoyance flare up now realizing that she might have to actually do the talking now. Couldn't Alana have gotten high AFTER the important arms deal not before. Still she dropped her cigarette and crushed it with her black combat boot.

"That's likely them. Don't kark this up."

She was going to need music for this, so she popped a ear bud into her left ear and used her datapad to play a A song that was much more to her liking. Now bobbing her head softly letting the choir of electric instruments set the scene. She took out her pistol now and for flare that only she could appreciate flicked off the safety and let the blaster charge to life just as the main chorus kicked in. All Alana had to do was talk and hopefully all Sera would have to do is just stand there, look like a tough ass bitch and they could walk out in one piece. The Transport stopped infront of Alana as a crew of gun runners now began to exit. Some looked to be simple hired guns and others actually seemed like they could be the brains. It was a mixed crew that number atleast 5 and it was unknown how many were still inside the transport guarding the merchandise. Still hopefully it wouldn't turn into a mos eisely standoff, though Sera's cynicism said otherwise. Would be nice to be proven wrong for once.

Alana got the feeling they were being watched as well, but she wasn't sure if that was from the death sticks or her own paranoia. She thought Sera had a death stick to spare, but as it turned out she only had a cigarette.

She glanced over at the woman and shrugged her shoulders. She smiled a bit and patted her sidearm, feeling much calmer than she had when they got here. She'd never been to an arms deal before, it was kinda exciting really. All this new tech was going to be hers. Sera seemed ready to get to work, as she made a comment to Alana. Looking off into the distance, Alana spotted what all the hassel was about, as she could see the landspeeder heading towards them. "Hey, dont worry about it, I got this covered." She stood up, stretching her shoulders, more than happy to meet with their contact. She grinned as the men stopped the speeder just in front of her, the drugged up woman too relaxed to move out of the way. She put her hands in her pockets, as she eyed the armed men that rose to face them. They were tough looking of course, but she wasn't exactly intimidated. A well dressed man exited last, but a quick glance would show he was wearing a protective vest under his clothes. He adjusted his tie, looking between the two women before shaking his head. Alana's smile turned into a scowl, as it was pretty clear this guy was just an ass. The man looked to Alana and pointed at Sera, snapping his fingers as he got the attention of the rest of his men. "So, eh, which one of your broads is buying the goods?" He asked, as he dropped his hand into his coat and withdrew a cigar, and ignited it. Clearly, this wasn't going to be so simple of deal.

Arden laid patiently on the roof, studying everything in the area. He was nicely hidden and had good visual on the town's entry points. He saw the speeder coming a lot sooner and watched it enter. He kept his sights on the truck, only glancing at Alana and the stranger now and then. They were in a world of their own. Luckily they weren't the target. As long as they didn't interfere, nothing would happen to them.

Soon enough the vehicle stopped and Arden watched the people disembark. The main target was spotted, starting the negotiations. He sighed with boredom as he watched the deal go down. It shouldn't take too long before the shipment was brought out. Once that happened, it was weapons free. But for now, he needed to wait until he had confirmation...
