Felisin "Stormblessed", Matukai Monk
Felisin walked with her staff slung over her shoulders, whistling idly as she kept pace with the caravan. It had started snowing a few hours ago, and most of the others had taken shelter inside one or the other trailer being pulled along by the old speeders. The few that still walked outside were covered in furs and wools, still shooting incredulous looks at her. She was dressed in her usual robes, the thin cloth, open midriff, and exposed sleeves not providing much in the ways of protection from the cold.

She smiled as she noticed another such glance. Good, let them wonder. Maybe they'd bother her less if they were in awe of her. No point in telling them that this was just part of her training. Feeding on the light within her to raise her own body temperature. She was beginning to get a lot better at it. When Jain had first taught her the trick she had almost died from hypothermia on more than a few occasions, but now the cold felt like little more than an inconvenience.

She was about to head over to the last trailer to check on old Maya, the woman whom she was helping get to her village, was huddled up in her wools, when a call went up from up ahead. It was echoed down the caravan, someone up ahead and noticed something. They probably wanted to check it out before proceeding. Bandits were known to haunt these mountain passes, and though she had explained to them on more than one occasion that they weren't known to be active in the winter months, the caravan was still wary.

She began making her way towards the front of the caravan when a small explosion went up form behind her. She turned around and noticed a smoke trail rising from the rear of the caravan. A trap! Whatever they had noticed up front had provably been a distraction, meant to stop them. The real danger was behind them.

"Maya!" She exclaimed as she realized how close that smoke trail was to the trailer the old woman was in. Letting out a few choice curses she started running, making her way towards the explosion.

Ender walked amongst a small group of people keeping mostly in the back but close enough to not stand out of place. He was wrapped in furs and multiple layers of clothing to prevent the cold from seeping through. The snow was thick but it at least wasn't a blizzard. He spent already a few days with the caravan, taking his time to know people but not to make such a name for himself. The real reason he was there was because of a bounty that was taking shelter amongst the travelers, laying low as it was reported he killed some authorities from his home planet, driving up the price quite considerably. Ender needed the money badly so he didn't mind this little excursion.

One of the most interesting aspects of the job so far from him was there was another force-sensitive like him. She showed it off blatantly and Ender kept his mouth shut with his signature repressed as well. He didn't know what to think of his powers or gift yet, he just knew it was the force and that was about it. There were a few times he almost revealed himself to the woman but it would have made things too complicated and he just needed the money to get out.

As they continued on the trail, Ender glanced at one of the trailers that were filled with people. He wouldn't have minded the warm embrace of the heat but his bounty was outside, one of the guards, as he had a blaster rifle slung over his shoulder and walked side by side with a tug speeder. With most of the people inside the trailers, there were very few ways for collateral damage to occur and Ender began to pick up the pace so he could reach the man. As far as weaponry was concerned, he had a blaster strapped to his hip and a vibro-sword on his back. Another was the force but Ender didn't want to rely on it, not knowing how to control and not wanting to become a hindrance for him.

As Ender's feet drove through the snow with determination, he was only a few meters out from his target and closing the distance. His hand unclipped his vibro-sword, ready to have it strike like a snake. But before Ender could do anything, suddenly an explosion rocked the back of the caravan, making the ground shake for a moment. The bounty turned around in an instant, the fire reflected in his eyes as he turned and made a dash for it up toward the mountains. He thought it was bounty hunters coming after him and he had no care for the other people on this caravan to stop and fight. Ender immediately gave chase after him, really the only one to do so. "Stop!" Ender shouted, the two of them running past Felisin as they went the other way.

Amyra lied in wait among the snowy rocks overlooking the pass. She’d been trailing this bounty for days, now, and the time to strike was quickly approaching. The fob she carried beeped gently, the pace of it increasing as the caravan approached her position. Ahead, she set up a speeder rigged with explosives and several rocks in the path of the caravan to stop it, while near the rear she set up a small det pack to help box them in. As the caravan fully entered the kill zone she had established and was now between the speeder ahead and her det packs, she pulled out the detonator.

With a quick flick to arm the explosives and a follow-up squeeze of the detonator, the rear charge blew. Chunks of dense stone collapsed under their own weight and went tumbling down the pass, stacking themselves behind the caravan and preventing its retreat. Already, the caravanners began crying out in alarm, and what few guards they had galvanized and began to rally to the defense. While one guard began to flee with another chasing him, Amyra rose from the snow, her armor standing in contrast with the white drifts around her.

She was located near the rear of the caravan and quickly began heading towards the last trailer, her fob’s beeping quickening and slowing as if it were a faulty metronome as the guard fleeing passed by her. She cursed but continued towards where she assumed the target was. These hills were rich in some ferrous ore, and her fob had malfunctioned at least twice before during this hunt. Still, she knew her target was in this caravan; it was simply a matter of scaring them out. The Mandalorian drew her blaster just as a bolt whizzed past her, searing her pauldron as it grazed her. She responded in kind, sending a bolt into the guard’s chest and knocking him into the snow to die while she made her way to the rear trailer.

She headed towards the trailer, blaster raised and senses alert for danger, expecting her target to burst out of it any time soon.
