Strengths: Strong fighter in melee range, quick mind on the battlefield helps him and those with him, able to rig up mechanical devices (makeshift grenades, mines, etc)
Weaknesses: Fast foes, if they can close on Rane with enough speed and precision there is not much he can do to counter, other than use the force and hopes he blocks them in time

PERSONALITY: Rane has been, ever since joining the order a hard worker. He always strives his hardest to do what his master's say when they say it. He listens and absorbs everything people say to him. Never does he try to show out or one-up the other students. He devotes himself to what ever he is doing, giving it his all until the end. He is also a very respectful person to those of his, or higher ranks.
HISTORY:Rane was born on Corellia, to a middle class urban family. The family lived in a very rural part of Corellia, and operated a medium sized farm. The family only entered the metro part of Corellia when they were taking their produce to be sold. The job required both parents to go, and not being able to leave Rane behind, they brought him also. The family brought their produce into town on a small cargo shuttle, landing at the local shuttleport. The parents hated bringing Rane, fearing something would happen to him while they were unloading.
Time passed and Rane turned four. It was once again time to bring the produce for sale. Rane's parents loaded the shuttle and set out for the closest city. Once there, the parents exited the truck and began to off load produce. About halfway through the process they were approached by a man in brown robes asking about their child. The parents indulged the man's questions for a time before becoming hesitant to respond.
When the parents became defensive the man revealed he was a Jedi knight on a mission for the order. He explained that he sensed a person strong in the force and came to investigate. He told the parents he wanted to take Rane for Jedi training. The parents looked at each other and consulted for a few minutes before agreeing the life of a Jedi was better than one of a farmer. The parents gave their consent for his training in the force. The man bowed to the parents, collected Rane and left for the Jedi temple.
Rane spent the next twelve years using a training saber to polish his melee skills, often combating training droids instead of other younglings. Rane studied the training droids, often disassembling and reassembling the less complex versions. Over time he became skilled in basic robotics and continued to expand his abilities to general machine repair and construction.
Rane also spent much time in the library to become more knowledgeable on the history of the order and of the galaxy. All of his training and studying has culminated in his promotion to Padawan status. He is currently waiting for a master to show him the higher levels of Jedi knowledge.
