Description
The Genesis-class Cruiser was purpose built in the months pre-dating the Battle of Manaan. Constructed to operate as a mobile headquarters and command center for the men and women who would grow to form the Alliance for a New Republic. This one-off vessel, which would be christened the "Rebel Dawn", is a small, yet powerful vessel within its own right. Its box-like design follows the lead of vessels such as the Kushari Federation cruisers, which favour rigid, intricate skeletal designs and additional armour. Having these skeletal structures built using a honeycomb like mesh of titanium and alusteel throughout the superstructure allows the ship to be home to four respectable sized hangar bays. One at the bow of the ship, one on the dorsal side, just aft of the bridge, and two bays on the port and starboard sides located midship. In addition to the respectable starfighter and shuttle complement the vessel is capable of holding, the ship also is in possession of four pillar-like protrusions in each quarter of the ship's exterior. These pillars are used for atmospheric flight, landing, and submersion. In truth, these pillars are actually high-powered turbines, which when coupled with the vessel's ion engines and inertial thrusters allows it to move seamlessly between aquatic, atmospheric and vacuum environments. Armed with a relatively small outfit of weaponry, the Genesis-class can hold its own in a small skirmish, but its true power lies in its defensive capabilities. Its honeycombed structure, armour plating, and advanced engine systems puts this ship in a much better situation for fast exfiltration. Performing as the operations center for the Rebellion, this is a valuable part of the ship's capabilities.

Interior
The ship's interior seems and feels cramped in any of the rooms or corridors. A ceiling height of only 2.3 metres and corridors rarely wider than 110 centimetres allows for more space to contribute to the ship's four hangar bays, and expansive bunk network. Favouring simplicity and function over luxuries, the Genesis-class is capable of holding more equipment, personnel, and rations than other ships of its size.
The ship's interior is laid out in a grid pattern, with two major corridors running the length of the ship, dividing it into three major areas: port, center, and starboard. In the interest of the preservation of life and information, the center area of the ship is reinforced with a redunant life support system which encompasses the areas which include the barracks, mess, infirmary and command deck. Beyond these areas, in the outer areas of the ship lie areas such as the gymnasium, armoury, operation and briefing rooms. Onboard in non-essential areas of the ship are also several information access points.
Worth mentioning is that the fore and aft hangar bays also double as training rooms. The floors, which were originally designed to shield hangar personnel from ion output when craft were flying in and out of the hangar, are completely alternating, and are able to be propped up, down, on their side automatically by actuators underneath the floor. This modularity allows mock-up urban environments to be simulated, providing cover, change in terrain, and can be changed at a whim in the hangar control room that sits above the hangar behind reinforced transparisteel windows.
Despite the cramped interior, the ship serves as a functional, practical, and safe location for Rebel participants to train, relax, or research and plan their next moves against the New Sith Imperium.
