Sup, Peepz?! Rebel Newsletter 2.0 in da house!
Hopefully we're all settling into our characters and into the Rebellion really well! If we're not... well crap. We'll get to that later. But nonetheless, here are the latest happenings in the Rebel Faction for you to be made aware of!
Changes to the Team
As some of you may have noticed, Vencu has stepped aside from the site for an undetermined amount of time, and we're sad to see him reliquish his position to the likes of Silver Cutlass... ... I mean, we're happy to welcome Silver Cutlass into his role as Assistance Faction Leader and Leader of the Civilian Resistance Sub-Faction! Silver has been a huge help in the early stages of the Rebellion helping behind the scenes with keeping the mission log full, and was the first person to dive into providing a Training Exercise. Now we've actually given him seomthing to do, we expect big things! (Now get to work!)
Feedback & Suggestions
TAC, Silver and I, while being totally and incomparibly awesome - We lack the ability to read minds. Hence the creation of the Rebellion Suggestions & Feedback Thread! We actually do want to know what you want to see from the Faction. Where it heads, what decisions it makes. We want you to be involved and central to the course of action that the Rebellion takes! Its not My job as Faction Leader to win the war, its my job to keep you guys participating and always have something for you to do! Its also my job to facilitate your threads and goals, to make them happen! So if you wanna see the Rebels take a big ol' dump on Korriban - you damn well tell me! Otherwise i'm going to plant a flower bed there. (actually, the flower bed will piss of the Sith more...)
My point is guys, if you want to see things happen - you need to tell us. PM us, or hit us up on the S&F Thread!
Which brings me to my next point; one of the suggestions in the S&F thread has already come to life! I give you the....
Rebel Database
The Rebellion's Database is now operational! This is home to all our articles that we write about tactics, songs, or even just perspective pieces focusing on factions or events. I fully encourage you to use this, submit your own works - be they ideas like articles comparing the KI-11 rifle against the LAWS Peacemaker and their weight to firepower ratios. Could be a historial retrospective on the Battle of Manaan or even the Rebellion's position in the Bacta crisis! Anything, everything! The Rebellion is but a wee baby when it comes to the other Main Factions, but we've got soul, funk and boogie!... Or at least the drive to stick it to the other factions!
So please, make use of this really cool way to add to not only the site's lore, but also to expand upon the Rebel Faction and its recorded database!
Base Reminder!
Just a reminder, since it doesn't seem like they've been used much - the bases of the Rebel Dawn, Ord Pardron and Terminus are all RP-able sub-boards, similar to those of the Jedi Temple boards. These are great locations for social, training, or even planning RP's that you could do! These three sub-forums all have four (4) prefixes for use in your RP threads - [Base], [Training], [Quarters] and [Other].
Make use of these places as they're 100% safe locations for your character's plots! If you want more information about these bases, let me know and I'll add some description or a separate write up... or something.

I'm not a liar. Its coming. If you look hard enough you can see a few threads about the board that are building the foundation of the relationship that will form between the Rebellion and the Imperial Knights. Until then. Uhh... Twiddle your thumbs?

Mission Pack #1: Uploaded!
I've been hinting throughout several posts about Mission Packs. These will be specific to a particular place, planet, thing or person, and will all be featured on the Rebel Mission Log. This first pack features around the Ether Hawk, the damaged Heroic-class Star Destroyer of the Rebellion Fleet. As we progress through the missions in this pack, the ship will slowly become repaired (How cool is that!?), bettering the ship's combat efficiency and awesomeness. The pack features four missions which take place focusing around acquiring parts for the ship (in various quantities), but also troubles arise onboard during the repair process. Hopefully you enjoy these missions, and have fun participating in a meaningful story that affects the Rebellion's performance!
More mission packs will be uploaded as needed and will range from things like planet-specific missions, or even goal-specific missions - which will all play a part in how well the Rebellion fares in the fight against the New Sith Imperium!
FINALLY! The Good Stuff!
The Blockade of the Corellian is up! Ryloth, Rodia and Geonosis are planets who have been suffering as a direct result of the Imperium's blockade of the hyperspace laneway that connects them; The Corellian Run. This series of threads comes about as a direct result of a decision to offer the Rebellion's assistance to these worlds in the hopes that they will bring about more resources, personnel and materials.
If these three threads are successful, the Rebellion will successfully bridge the gap between their base at Ord Pardron and their outpost at Smuggler's run giving the Rebellion its own actual territory! YAY!
