Hello folks.
Today I bring you our "christmas-edition" Newsletter... which lacks anything christmassy bar the month I posted it. (well, maybe some well-wishes, holiday cheer, and hugs and food comas).

Enter the Imperial Marshalls. Essentially, a huge portion of the Imperial Knights found their current path to be outdated, old, and ultimately suicidal. Under the guidance of Enfali Tragati they sought out the Rebellion, and negotiated a place within it. With Tragati at it's head, A.R.E.S. was born. Analysis, Recon, Espionage and Sabotage.
Divided into two 'classes' the program is home to both the Imperial Marshalls, who are largely Force-based operations, and the Operatives who act as "spies" (for lack of a better term). The two, while combat ready, are often utilised outside battles and skirmishes, giving the Rebel's a much-needed leg up in their clashes with the Imperium, and a dire field-leveller when in combat against the Sith Order.
Drala (a.k.a. "Frank"), who plays Tragati, will serve as an AFL for the Rebellion and lead the A.R.E.S. sub-faction.
Worth noting is that the Imperial Knights no longer 'function' as a faction, and will fade from existance (talk to TAC about that, as that's his thing).
Corellian Run Mission Pack
This is something the Rebel leadership is hard at work developing. Containing a huge number of missions, this mission pack will be specific to Geonosis, Ryloth, Rodia, and Tatooine! As a part of our goal to keep things interesting for you guys, we're working to have the mission database be interesting, exciting, and really give you something for your characters to immerse and invest in! (a.k.a. as few of those "go here, grab this arbitrary item" as we can do).
If you have any ideas for missions (of any kind), skirmishes, or campaigns, don't hesitate to PM your ideas to me!
Geonosian Shipyards & Rodese Factories
With the upcoming successful diplomatic negotiations along the Corellian Run, the Rebellion will have a massive influx of people to fight the war, and resources to do it with. While we're still going to be scraping the barrel for things to level the field against the NSI, we're getting there! With the sovereign worlds of Geonosis and Rodia joining the Rebellion we will have access to the shipyards of Geonosis, and the Rodese Industrial Factories which can be used to construct all important weapons, armour, and other resourcecs that the Rebellion needs to continue its efforts against the NSI.
While the leadership team and I will be working on our own little brands of tech that we can produce with these new assets, I encourage you to send your ideas through to me to see if we can't make them a faction-wide item! Keep in mind that all Faction-Tech undergoes a slightly different approval process, and needs to be posted via me in the Hall of Leaders (Admin/FL-only board). Any new tech that hits the deck will be featured in the next Newsletter!
Holiday Period Availabilities
With the holiday season knocking on our doorstep, some of us will become more available, and others will become unavailable. Similarly for us, your Rebel Leadership Team; Drala is currently moving, and appears to be having a hard time getting internet access at his new abode, but is available two or three days a week - so if you have ARES related things, PM him (and CC me in too!)
Silver Cutlass, to my knowledge has no life whatsoever, and will be here the entire time... So the Civilian Resistance can pepper him with ideas and concepts!
Me, i'll be away, but not unreachable for around three weeks from the 16th of December until the 7th of January. I'll be back east in Sydney for that time, but will be doing the usual holiday runaround of chatting with friends and family, catching up, and taking in inappropriate amounts of alcohol across New Year's Eve.
I imagine while we all have lives, we all will be accessible via PM! (I know for a fact I will not be using Skype during this period). Anyway, the Rebellion would like to wish you all a Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Awesome New Years Eve, and another great month of RPing!
