Often I glance in the mirror. Looking at the individual I have become. I came here as a distressed young man. Looking for answers. Looking for a way to obtain something that was taken. What I found instead was hardships and pain. Sitting on the frigid surface of Ando Prime with nothing more than my undergarments, I found myself wanting to go back to my confused status. I know not what kept me here for so long. But I do know that I came to accept where I was. Who I was with now. When I made it through the hardships of being an acolyte, I vowed to treat each and every acolyte the same way I had felt. Years of training my students morphed me into a harsh individual. No remorse was left in my soul. I was nothing more than a shell, fit to only serve the Order. On the day we razed the Temple on Coruscant, I left a student to die alone. The Grandmaster would not kill him but only leave him in a status where there was no hope of him retrieving any form of conscience. I never looked back when I left my student, lying on the ground motionless. We knew the risks that day.
It was such a vain sacrifice...
That night, I stayed on Coruscant to watch the Temple burn. Standing alone in a docking yard, I contemplated my place in the Galaxy. What if I had joined the Jedi instead. What if I was the very same Jedi, I cut down. It was useless thinking, I believed until I found Ksilias. She was a padawan that had left the Order during the chaos. I could of ran my lightsaber through her stomach and dumped her corpse in a supply crate. Instead, I captured her and brought her back to Ando Prime after taking many measures not to be followed.
Converting a student of the Jedi was the greatest feeling I had ever felt. But this feeling was not with a price. Ksilas infected me with something I can only explain as love. Even while training her in the art of lightsaber combat, I restrained myself at the thought bringing harm. I let my guard down for Ksilas and it was something I will never regret. The one thing I will regret is the day her final test was given. It was to be a personal conquest of my own that I kill a fabled Krayt Dragon. Traveling across those scorching sands are still so vivid to me.
She passed the test but at the cost of a limb which grew back thankfully due to her species' regenerative ability. I lost my left eye to the great beast but I sought not to heal it through the force or by any medical means. My over confident thinking lead to my loss and now I will pay for it the rest of my life. So are Ksililas' screams which ring in my ears from time to time. Being brought up to the position as "Lord of the Temple" has indeed caused me to think of the past and of the future. My years as a Crusader was soaked in the blood of my own students. While my years as a Master more or less the same. Training for the acolytes and crusaders has been easy up to this point. But with me sitting in this seat of power they will all know sacrifice and what devotion really is.

1. Locket
A locket containing a small photo of his mother that he received as a child.
2. Antiox Breath Mask
Rish is a Kel-Dor which prevents him from breathing regularly on most planets. To combat this problem, Rish wears a antiox breath mask and protective goggles whenever in atmospheres of a different composition that is unlike his own home planet's.
3. Rish's Lightsaber
Created during his days as a acolyte, Rish has kept it during through the years rather than creating a new one ever so once in a while. Although he has done one small modification. Taking a tooth from the Krayt Dragon that he had slain with the help of Ksilas, Rish has attached the tooth to the end of his lightsaber's hilt. As a reminder to himself and a testimony to his victory.
