Neri was still pouting when Alana returned to the cockpit. "Not my boss... my executioner most likely..." she sighed. The Bespinian pilot was aware of the many rumors surrounding the woman. "The Redface gang, among others, works directly for her, she's trying to seize control over the Coruscant spice trade. If the rumors are true, she's a wealthy Zeltronian woman living on Zeltros. No one knows her name, and no leads can be traced back to her. It's all just smoke and mirrors..." Neri had grown serious now, as she continued. "We've made an enemy of perhaps one of the most powerful anonymous figures out there." yeah, the pilot wasn't going to show her face in the core for a while. "Don't be sorry. It was my own decision." she continued. "I tend not to think too far ahead. Part of my charm, I guess.." she exclaimed with a faint smile. It was something she hated about herself; she lived in the moment and never thought far ahead. She had no long term plan, just... this.

Neri's brow furrowed when Alana asked about their plan. "Just lean back in your chair lady, what the kriff do you think you're paying me that ton of credits for?" Neri paused, steering their craft to another skylane. "We're going to the industrial district. I know a second-hand ship dealer. We'll trade the Quadjumper for something with a proper hyperdrive, stock up and travel to a planet of your choosing." Neri explained. "That okay for you love? Also, if you wanna do sticks, do em in the back." she added, having seen the death sticks when the pilot had stripped Alana of her stuff.

Alana's expression didn't change much with the revelation of Neri, the woman's situation was still pretty bad, there was no getting around that. Alana had gotten on the wrong side of a few people, but it had never been a gang. "Ah, well, damn." Alana said, sighing and looking at the floor, unsure what else to add to that. "Funny, you think being a Zeltron she'd have them renamed to the Pinkface gang, but I guess that's not as intimidating." Alana tried to add humor to the situation, but she stopped before Neri change her mind about killing her. "Well, just my luck." Alana muttered, crossing her arms and hissing as the pain in her shoulder flared up once more. "My daddy had a saying in times like this, 'It can always be worse'. Though, speaking frankly, I'm not sure how much worse things could get." Neri's reaction to Alana's apology made her tilt her head, the black hat she wore slid off just a tad before Alana nudged it back into place with her good arm. "So you basically decided at the last minute to not kill me and just run off with the credits?" Alana asked, before shrugging. "Well, thanks for that I suppose. Else I'd be dead or enslaved." Though if Neri didn't plan things out, had everything they done up til now been made up on the spot? If so that was another level of luck that Alana couldn't explain.

When Neri began to go off about not questioning her about a plan, Alana just shook her head. It was like being at home all over again. "Well pardon me for asking, but if you remember I'm not paying you anything, you're taking your fifty percent cut like we agreed on." She corrected the woman, standing up because she was not in the mood to put up with this. "Sounds good to me, just do your thing." Alana commented, struggling with her good arm to fish out the deathsticks in her coat pocket, though she winced as Neri called her out for it. "I'll just stay back there til we reach the spot. Not trying to test your tolerance today." She responded, getting the feeling that Neri was under a great deal of stress, and Alana being around probably wasn't helping things. Managing to get one of the cartridges out, Alana ignited it and moved into the back. She set herself against the wall, a stinging sensation filling her eyes, as the last half hour of events finally took it's toll on her. She was losing control of not only her 'curse', but her mind, and possibly her life as well. All from one stupid decision to try and play a game of Sabacc. Tears once again began to streak down Alana's face, as she set her head against her knees, her left shoulder stinging like mad, and her mind beyond the point of being tired. At this point it felt like her life was just one mistake after another. So here she was, in another terrible situation, crying silently to herself, hoping that this woman she had allied herself with wouldn't end up being the death of her; all the while fearing for her mental stability. She was way in over her head.

"Well... I don't know for sure if she's a Zeltron..." Neri replied, a little hesitant with her response. "And yes, decided the moment I capture you. You looked so sad all tied up." she teased, knowing deep inside that it was only partly the truth for her actions up till now. The other reason she had was simple. Alana reminded her a little of herself, or rather, the person she once had been when she first ventured out from Bespin.

The Bespinian woman nodded as Alana notified her that she was indeed going to take a few sticks. While the pilot didn't entirely agree with it, she wasn't going to stop the white-haired woman. She probably had a lot to process, after all.

"I'll call you when we arrive." she said, before turning her attention back to the skylanes again.
