"Y-Yes Master." Calam said in a painful and angry tone as he erected his body.

Aiden kept his head turned towards his acolyte as he stood. The student wouldn't try anything for a while now. That should have blasted some arrogance and any rebellious nature out of him for now, more so if he knew that was only a fraction of Aiden's power. "Now. Which saber forms are you interested in learning again? From what I saw, you seem to lean towards forms five and seven with your big, slashing attacks and your aggression."

Baring his fangs in pain and resentment, Calam answered:
"Correct. Those are my interests, Master."
Calam had much to learn if he was to surpass his master. Surely he had a weakness, and Calam planned to learn it inside and out. In the mean time, however, he reveled in the prospect of learning his favorite combat forms.

Aiden leaned on his back leg and brought his right hand to his chin as he thought. He felt some resentment and anger through the Force in his acolyte. "Relax. Now. Combat is over, do not allow rage to cloud your mind now." He said in a very stern tone. "Which of the two forms would you like to learn?" He asked.

"Yes master. I believe Form v to compliment me the best." Calam replied. He was starting to control his anger now, turn it into something productive. The pain still remained, however, and massive bruising would ensue.

Aiden nodded and pulled the saber he had dropped before into his hand. With a quick motion, he put it onto his belt and kept the other in his hand. "Assume this stance." Aiden said as he slid his dominant leg back and raised his blade above his head. It was a high guard position, with the hilt held in a two-handed grip above his head, and the blade angled upwards and behind Aiden. "From here, you are able to generate, both metaphorically and literally, tons of power on your strikes, especially when combined with the Force. It is also easy to defend from here. Had I a larger frame or better control over the Force when I began learning the ways of the lightsaber, this is the form I would have chosen." Aiden said.

Calam leaned down and picked up his training saber. Watching his master, he proceeded to mimic the stance to the best of his ability. His upper body matching perfectly due to his ability to read muscle movements through electricity. However he was unsure what to do with his lower body, so he coiled up, his upper body ready to strike.
"Is this acceptable, master?"

Aiden nodded, his student had perfect form. "Very good Calam. Your strikes will come from above your head. Land to with force. Throw strikes to finish fights, remember this saying." Aiden said "Your first test will be to spar one of the other acolytes here. Only lightsabers, no force usage. I will be watching. Do not fail me." He said. From across the room he called out to one of the acolytes whom had seen spar before. The Trandoshan was a seventh form user and had a ferocious offense. It would be a good test for Calam.

"Are you ready ssssnake?"
The trandoshan said as it ignited it's saber, standing across from Calam.

"Begin!" Aiden said. As soon as the word left Aiden's lips the Trandoshan shot forward and unleashed a series of slashes as his opening offense, leading with a two handed slash heading from the right towards Callan's torso.

Calam knew this Transhodan. Though he didn't know Calam. His name was Kelshar, and was one of the more talented acolytes of the temple. Calam had been watching him from afar for quite a while and was aware of his style. Kelshar used Juyo very proficiently, preferring to control the fight and not allow his opponent time to attack between his hail of attacks.

Calam knew that one day he would have to face other Acolytes, as such he had studied the more talented ones and calculated ways to defeat them. Defense was Kelshar's weakness. If Calam could counter and press the attack, he should be able to defeat the Transhodan.

Calam didn't mind the taunt that his opponent used. After all, snakes generally enjoyed feeding on lizards.

"To defeat you? I'd be ready in my sleep, Gecko." came his retort. The Transhodan's pride was considerable. Calam knew that this would anger him, perhaps it would make him reckless. Calam counted on it.

When the attack came, it came hard and fast. Calam blocked and parried the initial wave of attacks. His ability to see electronic signals in the body helped to nullify the natural unpredictability of the Juyo. However, the form was a great contrast from Shii-Cho, which Calam was used to using. He would have to go on the offense soon.

With the preparation of the wide sweep, Calam saw his opportunity.Using his abdominal pain to fuel his anger, he lept forward, inside the Transhodan's reach. Blocking his opponent's arms with his left forearm, and pivoted, launching his right fist, with the deactivated training saber as a knuckleduster, at Kelshar's jaw.
He hoped this move would disorient his opponent long enough for him to press the attack.

Kelshar's eyes grew very wide as Calam parried his strikes and leapt inside his reach. He attempted to step back but it was too late now. The punch from the massive acolyte landed, hard. It shattered that side of his jaw and sent him to the floor, unconscious. A slow clap came from the corner. It was Aiden.

Aiden watched as the whole scene unfolded, a bit of trash-talk, a furious assault, and a devastating counter. The once promising prospect lay out cold on the floor. He didn't deserve life after that pitiful display. He clapped slowly as his student stood victorious over his oppenent, the first of many. With a grin he floated the red lightsaber of the Cathar he killed early over to Calam. "Finish him. That blade is yours now." Aiden said. In training, Aiden harshly punished failure but heavily rewarded good actions. His acolyte now had a blade until he crafted his own to mark his advancement.

The fight had ended much faster than Calam had anticipated. As expected, Kelshar's defense was underdeveloped. A single blow was enough to incapacitate the weakling. That fact right there was proof that a good offense did NOT equal a great defense.

The impact was very satisfying. The feel of the bones giving way to his fist invigorated Calam's blood lust and as the Transhodan fell heavily to an unconscious heap on the floor, Calam found himself disappointed that his opponent hadn't put up as much of a fight as he wanted.

He heard his master clapping. As Calam turned to face him, he noticed that his master's face was adorned with a cruel and wicked grin as he gave him his first true lightsaber.
"Finish him. That blade is yours now."
Tossing aside the training saber, Calam was happy to oblige.

The acolyte circled the unconscious form of Kelshar, igniting his newly acquired lightsaber. Turning it blade-down, Calam plunged it into the chest of the transhodan without a second thought.

"Do you have anything more challenging, master?" He hissed, retrieving the blade and deactivating it.

The low quality training saber clanked across the floor after Calam tossed it aside and accepted his newest instrument of war. The big boy version of the toy he'd been using during his time in the Bogan thus far. The crimson bladed lightsaber Aiden gave him was a true weapon of war, one of the most graceful at that.

Calam had obliterated the Trando from existence without flinching or thinking about the action. Order and reaction. It was good that he followed orders, that went a long way in the Bogan these days, questioning your superiors got you killed in short order. They had no room for fools.

"Something....more challenging? Hm..." Aiden's voice trailed off as he started to think. There were a few slaves in a nearby room, could throw swords to 'em and see how Calam deals with multiple opponents. Either that or blaster deflection. Both sounds good.

A few taps to his wrist-com and a small group of slaves armed up with repeating blasters marched into the room, making a V formation with the smallest of them standing at the tip.

"Open up. Kill the snake."

As the armed slaves entered the room, Calam coiled and fingered the hilt of his lightsaber. Igniting it, he tested the resistance and gyroscopic effect of it, trying to compensate.

As soon as his master said "kill", Calam sprang forward at the nearest flank of the formation at blinding speed. If he could take away their clear shots and get in melee range, he could easily slaughter them. He tried to curve the force to aid his pace.

Ariving at his destination at the same time that the slaves finished forming up, Calam positioned himself so only one oponent had a clear shot. He struck with a horizontal cut at the first slave's waist, using his momentum to his advantage.

Moments later he swept his tail at the legs second slave, its mass more than enough to knock the swine from his feet.

As Calam stroke home, hitting the unit of slaves hard, they instantly circled out around him. The group formed a semi-circle around where he had made impact into their lines and attempted to make as much room between each of them as possible as they fired upon him. Aiden felt the life force of two of the slaves eb away as one was cut in twain and the others spine snapped after landing on the duracrete floor.

"If he doesn't kill you all, I will!" Shouted Aiden, more incentive for the slaves to finish off his apprentice. Blaster bolts rained towards Calam from multiple directions.

As the remaining three fanned out and shot at him, Calam dropped onto his stomach, slithering across the floor and under the blaster bolts, deflecting any that got too close. His private regiment had included blaster deflection, and he found crossing the floor simple enough. He closed on the left slave exceedingly fast, cutting the legs out from under him and returning with a strike to behead the falling rat. Turning towards the closest slave, Calam threw his saber at the farthest, attempting to guide it with the force, and picked up the body of his latest victim. Using the torso as a meat shield, Calam advanced on the closer of the two slaves at breakneck speed.

As Calam cut the legs from one of his victims he left himself open to the blaster bolts, two of the blue stun bolts would thud into his sizeable torso with roughly double the force of a rubber bullet from a slugthrower. Aiden sighed, the rounds would likely down a wookiee, more or less the same size as Calam, the double tap on center mass was dangerous as hell. Calling the force to his left hand, Aiden used one of his favorite powers, Mind Shard, to quickly end the remaining slaves, their bodies thudding to the floor as their brainstem snapped from the pressure.

Aiden's hand came up, facepalming as he rubbed his nose just between his eyes. It was a stiff test, but passable by his bright pupil without a doubt.

"You're better then that Calam."

Fool, Calam thought as the stun bolts hit their mark, How could I have let this happen? He had been too confident, too cocky after his easy kill and had overextended himself and underestimated the slaves. The Si'Yute lay on the ground where the stun rounds had hit him, unable to move for a few seconds as his anger and frustration at himself grew. The effects began to wear off and he rose in shame, picking back up the lightsaber that he had dropped.

"I was a fool, master." He said, fully acknowledging his humiliating failure and expecting to be punished.

"Come, you're training is nearly finished despite your failure there. You've shown more then enough skill to best one of these other fools."

Aiden's voice boomed, a challenge to the rest of those training in the room. He knew it would anger some, but who would rise to the challenge was different entirely. Likely noone.

"You've done enough fighting. Life as a Bogan isn't all war and fighting. You must recognize other portions of being one of the children of the Dark Side. You fight well enough with a lightsaber and have potential in the Force. Further tuteledge there is not neccesary."

Aiden sighed to himself. Some just wanted to fight, and nothing more. They would be mere pawns in the galactic conflict. Pawns to be used by the higher power.

"You are different Calam. A desire to be better to the point that you'd threatened me. Foolish indeed but it shows courage. The Bogan will need capable leaders in the coming wars. Leaders create for themselves, they do not take handouts."

As Aiden spoke, he snapped the lightsaber Calam held in his hand, likely burning the hand of his apprentice rather badly and leaving only the red crystal within.

"Go. Craft your own blade. In the next room are some materials to make one. Come here when you're done."
