OOC-( Sorry JM76 I forgot to tell you I would be gone for a while because of my Tonsilectomy but I am back, looking forward to rping with you)

If one were to peer into the young padawan headquarters at the Jedi temple, one would notice the young serene looking miraluka boy. His dark red hair fell around his face in unkempt chunks, his visage was eyeless, all miraluka lacked eyesight. A silent smile crept across his thin lips as he continued to dream, silently creating other worlds.

The annoying buzz of the bedside alarm awoke the boy, giving him the sudden appearance of someone who has been electrocuted, it was almost comical. Looking at the time Aiden swore to himself, “Frak it John!” looking about for John his fellow padawan Aiden couldn’t sense him anywhere near him while using the only form of sight he had, forcesight was the gift the miraluka people had received in turn for their physical vision.

John must have changed the time for the alarm, either in good humor, or just out of jealousy for Aiden. Aiden was already late for the most important appointment of his life; he had finally been chosen by one of the temple Jedi. Aiden in his eagerness had made all the preparations, knowing he had to be up and in the Jedi’s meeting place by sunrise.

As Aiden used his forcesight he could already sense it was an hour after sunrise, anger filled him as he silently dressed in the typical robes and garments of the padawan. Aiden struggled to push the anger from his mind, he couldn’t let his emotions loose in front of a Jedi, and if he did that he might not be trained at all.

After assembling his equipment for the day, Aiden rushed out while simultaneously tying a pale blue rag around the top of his head, he knew his eyeless face caused discomfort to some people.

Eagerness refilled the boy’s spirit as he leaped down the staircase skipping an entire flight and rushing to find his new master, he hoped it was the man who had rescued him, if not he at least hoped he was feeling merciful today, Jedi didn’t like any disturbances in the force as well as their schedules.

Chester Ducere had been lingering in one of the temple's interior gardens. Most Jedi wore simple robes with cloaks of brown or gray or other dark colors to symbolize their simplicity; Chester did not find this ideal. Instead, Chester Ducere wore blue trousers and a similarly colored vest and overcoat, all detailed with ornate gold trim and bronzium amulets. Ever as a Jedi Councilor of the Order, modesty had never been one of his strong suits.

Chester had been tracing the lifeforce of a single Jedi in the vast Temple of the Order. It was difficult work, but being surrounded by vegetation and immersed in the stillness of the gardens helped him focus in on the Padawan. Aiden Musoko, he was called. From what he understood, Aiden should have arrived at sunrise. Although he was not particularly perturbed when the young Jedi did not arrive - despite being a Councilor, he often found his schedule rather open - but he wondered where he was. Standing from his position in the gardens, Chester picked up the rapier-hilt of his lightsaber and headed toward Aiden's position.

Walking from the gardens into the vast halls of the Jedi Temple caused Chester to smile slightly. No matter how many times he entered the spartan, gaping halls of the Temple, he was always astounded by the sheer size and commodious space in them. Nevertheless, he did not let himself be sidetracked and followed Aiden's trail until he reached the young Jedi's location.

Chester tapped the lad on the shoulder with a single, black gloved hand to get his attention. "Are you Aiden Musoko?" he asked, his voice clear and his words terse.

Aiden jumped comically into the air as the hand descended to touch his shoulder, he had been so focused on getting to the Jedi on time he hadn’t even noticed the man approaching him. As he landed back on his feet he turned to face the Jedi sputtering, “M-Masssttter!!!” regaining his focus and his calm he continued, “Master, I apologize for my lateness, it is my fault sir, my alarm went off at the wrong time, I must have set it wrong.”

Aiden continued to face his new teacher with timidity, hoping he had not ruined his chances of being a Jedi himself. He was worried and a little scared, he knew this wouldn’t go unnoticed, his unease was too large and he was caught off guard, he knew he needed to calm himself.

Aiden tried to focus on his surroundings instead of himself and was reminded once again of why he was there, he wanted to be a Jedi; he wanted to be powerful enough to protect those who needed it. With his regained focus he continued to face his master expectantly, hesitantly awaiting his fate.

Chester crossed his arms somewhat haughtily as his Padawan replied in earnest. The Jedi Master listened intently to the young Jedi's excuse, and found himself amused. A slight smile revealed itself on Chester's face, but he quickly regained his serious composure.

"I'll take that as a 'yes', then," Chester said, taking note of his previous question. "Tell me, why are you ambling through the halls like you are on holiday? You were hardly able to perceive my presence, and I would have remained invisible to you, no doubt, until I alerted you."

Chester paused for a moment and uncrossed his arms, placing them at his side. Bowing in a single, swift motion, he allowed his long overcoat to flow with his body before he recovered his initial stance. His aura suddenly became much less professional and a bit more elegant and carefree, although he still possessed an air of pride.

"Salutations. I am Jedi Master Chester Ducere, and I pose to you a question, young Jedi: why are you here?"
