Name:
Seren Tywyll

Coordinates
:
E-17

Hyperlane
:
N/A

Rotation:
Rotation: 36 Hours equal amounts of daylight and darkness.
Orbital Period:
399/400 Days.

Satellites:
Moons:
4 Llid, Marwolaeth, Newyn, and Llinyn. All four moons circle the planet at fast rates of speed often smashing into parts of the asteroid belts, none of the moons posses atmospheres and as such are uninhabitable, especially due to the surfaces often being littered with debris of the asteroid belts. The speed of the moon cycles creates a cruel and inhospitable ocean environment making oceanic travel difficult.
Asteroid Belts: Two high volume asteroid belts circle the planet at an extremely fast rate of speed, often striking the moons. Travel to and from the planet via spacecraft is not inhibited by the asteroid belts and moons.

Atmosphere:
Oxygen mix, Type I(breathable)
Oxygen - 57.93%
Nitrogen - 40.36%
Argon - 0.46%
Carbon Dioxide - 0.07%
Water Vapor & Other - 1.18%

Climate:
The planet has a temperate climate.
Spring: Comfortable, approximately 131 days.
Summer: Harsh, approximately 86 days.
Fall: Comfortable, approximately 93 days.
Winter: Mild, approximately 89 days.

Terrain:
Ocean - 31%
Land mass - 69%
Land Mass Terrain:

Zabrak (Immigrant)
Mirialan (Unwilling Immigrant)
Zelosian (Unwilling Immigrant)
Population:
5.5 Billion
Human - 44%
Dathomirian - 17%
Zabrak - 19%
Mirialan - 12%
Zelosian - 8%

Military:
990 Million
Human - 63%
Zabrak - 19%
Dathomirian - 18%
Major Cities:
Hauptstadt - Government Capital of the planet. (850 million)
Cerbyd - Industrial Hub of the planet. (2.7 Billion)
New Aurilia - Night-sister Capital of the planet. (475 Million)
Op - Luxury Capital of the Planet. (90 Million)
Hun - Island city - slave breeding territory. (200 Million)

Resources:
The vastly abundant raw minerals allows the planet to produce enormous quantities of refined metal, taken from the planet, and processed in the vast number of refineries in Cerbyd. Metal is used to produce everything from buildings to the weapons, armor, and Star-ships exported by the planet. The numerous and powerful refineries allow the planet to export large quantities of Titanium, Transparisteel, Quadanium steel, Alusteel, and Duraplast.

Government:
Geniocratic Oligarchy with some Democratic aspects:
A grouping of peoples run the governing body of the planet, consisting of several departments. All governing peoples are voted for by the free peoples of the planet, with high intelligence and creativity being a prerequisite to run for the position. Debates among running officials often take place in a game show like environment(American not Japanese).

Culture:
Many religions are practiced on the planet, as well as a large group of Dathomirian's holding a religion similar to the Night-sisters. Industrial advancement is an important ideology of the planet, the Planets greatest minds head the United Seren Productions, a massive government operated manufacturing corporation that produces all of the planets exports. Pollution filtration is also a major business of the planet, allowing the planet's many massive refineries to leave a minimal footprint on the planet in the form of pollution.

Technology:
The Technology of Seren Tywyll is on par with the rest of the galaxy.

History:
The Planet's long history is heavy laden with slavery, from individually owned slaves to Government run slave rings, slaves have been used in one form or another for thousands of years, after the discovery of space travel the enslavement of Humans quickly stopped and was replaced with the Mirialans, large numbers of the species was imported to the planet and used as a primary work force for the planets massive refineries. A large group of Dathomirians and Zabarak began to spring up as they immigrated to the planet due to its openness to their kind, in less than half a century Dathomirians and Zabarak began holding positions of importance in the planet's government.

For hundreds of years the Humans, Dathomirians, and Zabark lived well on the planet, built with the labor of the Mirialans. The Planet had begun the United Seren Productions and the heavy demand for the planets exports required a larger work force, as such the planetary government decided to begin the forced reproduction of the enslaved species, creating a specialized "Farm" of sorts on the large Island city of Hun, the planet's harsh oceans providing a natural fence between the breeding ground and civilized world. Although the forced reproduction process had begun to boost the numbers of the enslaved work force, it was proving to not be sufficient, to supplement this the planetary government began importing Zelosians, which were similar in appearance to the Mirialans allowing them to be easily identified as slaves. After generations of enslavement the Mirialans and Zelosians possess little to no advanced knowledge, leaving them with a nearly feudal level of knowledge with the exception of the knowledge required to mine, and run the planet's refineries, other than this the enslaved species hardly resemble the cultures from which they came from.

Now, hundreds of years since the United Seren Productions creation the planet thrives financially with it's vast amounts of technological exports to include high quality arms and armors as well as quality star-ships. Any past internal conflict of the planet has since been wiped from its history books as the planet has remained in internal peace for thousands of years.

Intent:
My idea for Seren Tywyll is that they're a neutral planet in the edge of the galaxy and they're ruled by a council that heavily supports the ideal of slavery, with a plan to have many factions vie for its support, as a major exporter of materials needed for whatever wars may happen. I believe Seren Tywyll could be an interesting point of conflict for all factions.

(I think I'm done, though I'd like some criticism.)

I like some of the concepts introduced by this planet, but I do have some technical concerns. For instance, the seasons. Spring is waaaaaaay too long. I'd suggest balancing it out amongst the other seasons.

I'm also uncertain about the Intent you have listed. Why do you want multiple factions (presumably Indies, as Mains have no reason to vie for a single planet's support) vie for its support? Your Intent seems to suggest it's related to slavery, but I highly doubt any faction would be dying to have the support of slavers unless they are powerful slavers and the factions in question are the Hutts. Can you elaborate?

Sorry about the delay, I should have time tonight with my computer to reconstruct further.

I liked the idea of having an extremely long spring, but I can fix that, I would still like to keep it as the longest season however.

Also, although slavery has been a part of this planets history since before the planet started recording its own history, they do not export slaves meaning they are not technically "Slavers" while they do use slaves, that only vaguely resemble the species they used to be, to accomplish their vast productions they do not sell their "home made" slaves.

I believe they would be a good ally to have for any faction, yes probably just Indies as the mains already have major corporation planets that would out class this one.

Hey no problem. This planet isn't a pressing issue.
