DESCRIPTION​

The Shock whip, also known as the Electro Whip. Was a somewhat cruel weapon favoured by slavers, the cruelest of Sith, and other awful awful people. It consisted of a handle that housed a power cell and a 4 meter long conductive cable (often cortosis) that would be essentially a live wire when the weapon was active.

It was capable of delivering an incredibly painful and debilitating shock, at max power settings equal to that of a stun bolt. Consecutive hits from the weapon would incapacitate a target. It could also be used inactive, some users preffering to wrap a limb or part of the oponent before activating the electrical portion and causing immense pain.

Some models could be retracted into the handle for ease of carry.

LEGALITY​

Illegal, this weapon is a savage and cruel device. All but the most unruly planets would look at such an item with distaste. So pretty much only some outer rim planets would be accepting of it.

INTENT​

To create a unique melee weapon for any character that wanted to be savagely cruel and also add a weapon with a bit of a fear factor.

ADVANCED TECH​

No, a vibrosword would be more complex.

We already have the Zygerrian shock whip, which is classed as advanced yet it's stun effect is weaker. Hmmmm

If you wanted a "non zygerrian" shock whip you could do a reskin of the existing submission too. That's always an option.
