Temple of the Imperial Priesthood

A few months had passed since two priestesses of the church had been bonded together. While the two wished to learn more about it, they felt taking some time off was best. Ashlyn Sera would leave the church on a temporary hiatus to go and visit her Sith mistress back in the Empire. She was only able to meet her for a day, less than a day really. She'd been excited about this adventure for weeks once she got the ok from Lord Cain, the leader of their religion. But upon her return would not be in the same spirits.

Ashlyn moved into the temple searching for the connection to her bond. She could feel it hours into getting closer to the system, the further into hyperspace she got the calmer she felt. Now that she was actually here she felt calmer than she had. Ashlyn would find her soul sister down in the library, a place she disliked greatly. Books and data cards were typically only good to someone who....well could see. Ashlyn was blind. Her and books didn't get along. While walking into the room she would come and sit on the table that Alexia had various books thrown about. She didn't speak, but Alexia would know something was bothering her. Her hair was a mess, her eyes had black rings around them from lack of sleep. Ashlyn looked like utter crap.

Alexia had been to hell and back. She had walked the surface of Malachor, explored the depths of a forgotten tomb, bent the knees of Eadu with Lord Cain, and suffered at the hands of the Jedi. She had been re-forged in the blistering fires of the Darkside. She had fought tooth and nail to survive. From the moment Venator’s Lightsaber pierced her back, she had teetered on the edge. Alexia had lost her faith. Begged for death. She had found herself again. The past few months had changed so much. More than ever, she was dedicated to spreading the holy word of the Darkness. Her faith had never been stronger.

The Empire needed true believers. The Emperor was dead. The Moff Council destroyed and the Dark Council followed. Lord Cain was the last Sith Lord as Lord Malon rose to Emperor. Warlord Szebat had been maimed and captured. The Empire had been birthed and then brought low. The Republic was falling but the Jedi were winning. She was needed. The Darkside called to her. Physically she was still recovering but her mind was as focused as ever. It time she would regain her full physical prowess. Progress had been slow, she was undeterred. She would be back to her full self. Soon.

Alexia felt Ashlyn drawing closer. She had not seen her bond mate since they parted months ago. She didn’t know what Ashlyn could feel. Alexia had drawn heavily from the bond on Malachor, and during her imprisonment on Corellia. The bond had kept her sane. She would never admit it but she would have died without the bond. Feeling Ashlyn alive and well kept her rooted in reality while under Venator’s care. She focused on the books pilled around her. She was obsessed with gaining new knowledge. The ancient tomes were pilled all around her. Alexia could feel Ashlyn as she hadn’t in months. She looked up, her eyes flicking over the girl. Disheveled. The bond pulsed with palpable pain. Ashlyn was in an emotional death spiral. The feelings assaulted Alexia, hammering her mind. She couldn’t think.

“Well? What is it?” There was little chance of her getting any work done with Ashlyn close to a breakdown.

“Well? What is it?”

Seeing Alexia, figuratively of course, was a welcomed feeling. She already felt better, but needed to say what needed to be said. Her hand would reach forward, gently lying against the back of Alexia's palms. "My meeting did not go as well as I had planned. Something happened." Ashlyn would sit up and move around the table to sit in the adjacent chair. "At first things were great. She missed me; I missed her. We....fooled around a little." She knew her friend didn't want to hear that part so she would spare her the details unless Alexia felt like searching the bond for the missing pictures. "So we ended up fighting. In a sparring sense not like fighting fighting. I was so excited to show her my new powers, the things you showed me. Like that time you pinned me on the ceiling? Well...apparently she's seen that one before."

Her voice would get sad, "She had a rough past. I won't bore you with the details but someone who really hurt her did that to her. It scared her. I've never seen her so scared....of me. I didn't know how to react, Alexia. Did I...do something wrong?" She would reach out with her aura, and also the bond, hoping for some kind of answer from her sister. Something to justify what she did and that she wasn't some kind of monster.

Alexia had to fight to not be dismissive. She was still uncomfortable with the closeness of the bond. It was strange to have someone trust her, and ask the same in return. She knew the weakness of one was the weakness of the other. To be strong, they both had to be strong. She had to listen to Ashlyn and help the girl in whatever way she could. If Ashlyn was unstable it would pour across the bond. Alexia had long given up trying to shut the emotions out. It was an impossible and futile task.

She let Ashlyn touch her hand, she did not recoil when she sat across the table. She listened carefully. This was the problem with attachments. This was why the Darkside was all a Sith should love. Attachments created distraction that detracted from zeal. The faith required total dedication. A moment of mental weakness allowed Ashlyn’s physical distractions to breeze across the bond. Alexia pushed the images aside. She looked closely at the girl.

“You did nothing wrong.” Her unwavering conviction flowed through the bond. “The Darkness demands strength. Who we were is not who we are. Our past, however horrible, was a gift. A gift from the Darkside to make us stronger. You have seen all that I endured at the hands of my father. It made me stronger, a better weapon of the Dark.”

Alexia ran her hands through her hair. She was trying to make Ashlyn feel better but this was a foreign exercise. “You have changed. You are not the weak girl I tried to kill. Perhaps that scared your lover, perhaps she is freighted of the heights you might attain. You deserve someone how cherishes the strength and power you have found, not the weaknesses you once had.” Ashlyn was a true Priestess, the foibles of the past no longer mattered.

Ashlyn twitched when Alexia touched her back. It wasn't like her to be so forthcoming. She honestly still felt like she'd get slapped, but her hand merely rubbed her face and stroked her hair; a gesture by which made Ashlyn sigh happily. Hearing her friend reassure her of her acts made her feel worlds better. Her mind went back to the difficulties they'd gone through in the past few months. Alexia was busy with the church, going on mission after mission. Ashlyn stayed behind to study and train. She remembered how horrible she felt when Alexia was captured. She felt her soul sister wanting to give up, but trusting in the bond, and with in her. She'd never felt so needed by someone else.

"I remember when you were taken. I was so scared for you. I don't know if I ever told you, but I stayed up every night to give you strength. I prayed for hours on end that you would survive that horrible situation."

“You have changed. You are not the weak girl I tried to kill. Perhaps that scared your lover, perhaps she is freighted of the heights you might attain. You deserve someone how cherishes the strength and power you have found, not the weaknesses you once had.”

Ashlyn's heart was frail. She needed a closeness, and comfort. It didn't help that her ally was still stroking her fingers through her hair. There was a tug inside her that begged Ashlyn to lean forward and kiss her. But these were her own feelings, not Alexia's. Alexia would never let herself give into that emotion. So Ashlyn leaned back forcing Alexia's hand to lower. She tried to cut off that connection so as not to make her friend uneasy.

Trying to control what she says, "One day I hope I will find that person. I had hoped it would be Angela. But maybe we're on different paths now. Only time will tell. If the Force wishes for us to be together, then we will. I cannot ask for anything else."

Alexia was slowly drifting into uncharted territory. She was immensely thankful for everything Ashlyn had done. Her days locked in the Corellian prison had been the darkest of her life. Darker than anything inflicted during her training. There had been days she wanted to slip away, never to wake again. The strength of the bond had kept her sane. It had kept her from losing faith. She could never repay Ashlyn for what she had done. There were no words to describe what it meant. She had simply never had that in her life. Ever. Alexia felt a flush run through her body as Ashlyn’s desires ran across the bond. She was having an increasingly difficult time separating emotions. The closeness she felt with Ashlyn was not making it easier.

She pushed back in her chair and stood. She took a couple deep breath. Get ahold of yourself. She had been unprepared for the intensity of emotions now that they had been reunited. She fought to keep from nervously pacing. She looked back at Ashlyn. “The Galaxy is changing. The Empire is changing.” She had thought this over a thousand times.

“The Dark Council is dead. Lord Cain is the last of the Sith Lords, the Priesthood is reaching the pinnacle of its power. There is a place for us near the top Ashlyn, a chance for us to seize unimaginable power.” She stared at her blind bond mate. “I can’t do it alone. I was not strong enough. I am not strong enough but together we could change everything.” The Sith were changing and she wanted to be part of the change. She wanted the power she had sought all her life. She would never have been able to do it alone. She needed Ashlyn.

A smile came to her lips as she heard her friend say she needed her. Ashlyn could not have expected to ever hear those words. She would reach out again for Alexia's hand, this time taking both of them in her own. "I will be here for you, sister. Together we will spread the Faith as you have taught me. I will follow you, carry you, push you; whatever I have to do so your dream will be accomplished. I know now this was the will of the Force for us to be bound. I have been given a purpose, a calling. We will succeed, sister. I promise you that."

Alexia felt enveloped in warmth as Ashlyn took her hands and looked into her eyes. The bond pulled the two Priestesses closer. She had never felt more connected to Ashlyn. The girl understood what they could accomplish together, she understood all that it would take. Alexia had never had support. She had always struggled on her own. For the first time in her life she was not alone. It was a stunning feeling. She had a difficult time processing exactly how to feel. The heights of what they could accomplish were unknowable. Alexia stared at Ashlyn. Conflicted.

“There is nothing we cannot do together. We will burn the heretics from the galaxy.”

She felt her chest tighten, her pulse quicken. The Darkside sung around them. She ran her thumbs over the back of Ashlyn’s hand. She looked at the ceiling, then back at her bond mate. She returned Ashlyn’s enchanting smile. Their faces were close. She could almost feel Ashlyn’s breath against her cheek. She could not fight it any longer. She knew how things were meant to be. She leaned in and took a chance. Her lips met Ashlyn’s and Alexia gave into the bond.

“There is nothing we cannot do together. We will burn the heretics from the galaxy.”

"Together," she responded happily.

But something was troubling her. Alexia's heart was racing. Why was she so nervous all of a sudden? Was she excited about the potential future? But Alexia never got worked up like this. No this was different, yet strangely familiar in her own way. Then came the kiss! Her lips were being attacked by Alexia's in the most surprising of ways. If Ashlyn's eyes could have opened any wider they would have. Surprise overtook her as a flood of emotions poured through the bond. She felt it. What it was she couldn't quite tell. Instinct took over and Ashlyn would let go of Alexia's hands and move up to her shoulders. She closed her eyes and returned the kiss. They were doing this.

Alexia didn’t know what she was doing. She felt a rush of emotions as her lips met Ashlyn’s. Relief flooded her as the girl kissed back. She had feared being rejected more than anything else. She had no idea what she was doing or what had possessed her to do it. By the Dark, she didn’t even know what to do next. All she knew was it felt right. It was how things were meant to be. Her passion flared as Ashlyn’s hands moved up to her shoulders. Would this change things? What would their relationship be like after this? Had she changed?

A thousand questions flashed through her mind. She pushed them all away. Alexia only cared for what she felt now. She backed away from Ashlyn, reluctantly pulling away. With a wave of the Force she sent her research flying. The table was clear. It was cliché. She didn’t care. She pressed Ashlyn against the table and poured herself into the bond.

The kiss was like a dream come true. All her pent up questions and doubts now answered and disputed. Alexia cared for her too. That was all she needed to do. Her lips were cold, just as she imagined them to be. Her aura molding against her own felt like she was lying in snow. But rather than a chilling feeling it was more refreshing than anything.

Then the kiss was over. She didn't mind. Sure she wanted more but they needed to take small steps. Alexia would then toss her valued research aside out of nowhere. OK. Where was this going? Oh. Now they were kissing again. Alexia gently moved Ashlyn into the table which caused her to lean back slightly. Her hands would move up again but this time find Alexia's cheeks. Her thumbs caressed the tips of her ears while their lips danced together. She would bring her right leg up, parting her hips for Alexia to get closer, and then coil it around Alexis's behind. Her soul sister might have had doubts about what to do next, but Ashlyn could cover the way. She would even lead if her friend allowed. How far that would take them was entirely on Alexia though. Ashlyn didn't want to overstep her boundaries.

The Force Bond was alive as it never had been. This was final piece that had been missing, this was what unlocked the bond’s true potential. Alexia could feel the power of the Darkness coursing through her. It was like she pulled from two wells of the Darkness. An unknowable expanse of power extended before her. They could truly become unstoppable. This was everything she had ever wanted. She felt whole for the first time in her life. She didn’t feel the aching pain of loneliness.

There was only one last step for her to take. She didn’t know what she was doing, she knew Ashlyn did. She had to give up control. Alexia had lived her whole life fighting to be in control. Their full power could only be unleashed if she gave in. She mentally prepared herself, she let go. She gave herself fully to Ashlyn. She poured her emotions into the bond, waiting for Ashlyn to lead the way. Her bond sister was in command. It was a painfully terrifying feeling. For the first time in her life, she didn’t have a plan for what would happen next. Her faith and trust was fully in another.

Alexia had given her trust over to Ashlyn. She would not betray that trust. As her hands continued to stroke her hair and the sides of her neck, their lips explored every inch of each other's. Her tongue lightly entered Alexia's lips and would feel the soft touch on the other side. She could tell her soul sister was nervous and scared. She was afraid of being hurt. But Ashlyn would never hurt her; they were beyond that now. Ashlyn didn't want to admit it, but she was growing feelings for her bond mate. Part of her would deny it, saying it was lingering feelings for her mistress and best friend. But the truth couldn't be hidden. She was feeling the same way for Alexia as she had once felt for Angela Aldaine. Where these feelings would go was still uncertain to the blind Sith. But she'd be damned if she didn't explore them.

Pausing for a moment she would pull back and push Alexia off of her so she could sit up, "Hold on...Wait a sec." She smiled and cupped Alexia's face with her hands and leaned forward to nuzzle their noses together. "Let's go back to your room. People are staring." She could feel the occasional set of eyes baring down on them as they were quickly becoming louder. While no Sith would care what one thought of them, Ashlyn already hated the feeling of people watching her.

Making sure not to lose the moment, she would entangle her hand inside Alexia's so she couldn't pull away and then lead her back to her chambers. She would lock the door once they were inside and then bring Alexia to her bed. She pushed her down into it, letting her take a seated position. She then knelt down and would sensually take off her shoes. Her gentle hands would massage her feet, kissing her toes as she did so. She then moved up Alexia's legs, exploring the soft skin. She was tender, she was kind, she was loving. All things Alexia would be a stranger too. She wanted her friend to feel wanted, and cared for. This was the gift she could give her soul sister that no one else in the verse could. But she wasn't all gentle.

Without warning, Ashlyn would lower Alexia's skirt some and bite down onto her left hip bone. From personal experience Ashlyn knew this was the best way to get her turned on and in the mood; she expected Alexia to feel the same. Her teeth grinded against the flesh while her lips created a suction that would bruise the blood vessels inside. A grin came on her face as she heard Alexia moan for the first time. What a wonderful sound. She wanted more, and she would get more....

***

A few hours would pass and Ashlyn got out of the bed. She was covered in sweat and her hair was a mess. She felt like she'd gone through a long and tiresome workout, and that wasn't far from the truth. Her whole focus the past few hours was making Alexia feel things she'd never felt before. It was a time of firsts for them and now she was filled with pride. She knew her soul sister would likely be twice as exhausted as she was, especially after what she went through. Ashlyn may have been the one doing the work but Alexia was the one being oushed through it all. She was surprised no one came knocking at their door with the sounds she was making.

Giggling at the thought she decided to ask her about it, "So....did I break you?"

Aleixa had never felt this way. She was locked in her own little world, only Ashlyn existed. Nothing else mattered. The library had melted away as she tried to devour every single inch of her bondmate. Thankfully, Ashlyn was more aware for the situation. The two Priestesses had been attracting unwanted attention as they explored this new experience. New to Alexia anyway. She knew Ashlyn was more experienced in this particular area. She could barely contain her excitement as they headed towards her room. She had no idea what waited for her, but she was pretty sure she would enjoy herself. Alexia tangled her fingers in Ashlyn’s hair as the girl kissed her hips. A soft moan escaped her lips. This was what she had been missing. This was what she wanted. She moaned louder and smiled.

***

Alexia lay as a disheveled mess in her disaster of a bed. Her body ached. She was thoroughly and entirely spent, all the tension and stress released from her body. Ashlyn was skilled, in many many ways. She felt like she had been put through a grueling training session. This had been much more enjoyable. It had been a near religious experience. A cathartic event. She rolled and smiled at Ashlyn.

“I don’t break so easily.” She winked at the girl. She felt surprisingly playful. “Although, I might send a message to Venator. This would be a much more effective torture technique.” She laughed and kissed Ashlyn on the cheek. “We certainly have found something you’re much better at than I am.” Alexia lay back in bed, thoroughly and completely satisfied. For the first time in her life she did not feel like she needed something.

“I don’t break so easily. Although, I might send a message to Venator. This would be a much more effective torture technique.”

As usual, her wink would go unnoticed to the blind girl. But the kiss brought a warm smile to her face and she would place her hand on the naked leg of Alexia once she lied down onto the bed. Ashlyn wouldn't join her just wet, the mess was too messy for that. They'd need to either get new sheets before going to bed tonight or have one of the servants wash them. For now, she sat upright, staring blankly at the floor, while her hand coaxed the soft skin of Alexia's leg.

“We certainly have found something you’re much better at than I am.”

With a small laugh and a large smile she'd answer, "Oh I'm sure we could train you in the long lost art of lady-bending. It just takes some practice. And maybe a willing partner." With that one she would bring hr hand down and with both hands start massaging Alexia's feet as she had before they started. It was a mindless task that needed no thought to process. It was a rather relaxing hobby if you could call it that. Much like someone might wish to carve wooden figures, she liked to work with her hands. Only this was far more enticing and rewarding.

Alexia loathed to moved. She was enjoying herself entirely too much. The feeling of Ashlyn slowing massaging her feet set her mind at ease. She could stay in this bed for an eternity. A pang shot through her. The call of the Darkside was not silenced. They had work to do. She could not let her new-found feelings for Ashlyn prevent her from their true work. Spreading the truth of the Darkness. Alexia strained to put her physical comfort aside and detangled herself from Ashlyn. It was more difficult than she ever anticipated. She breathed the Darkside easily and reached out in the Force. Forgotten clothes whipped towards her. She slowly dressed.

“I plan to make plenty of time to learn.” She smiled and laughed. “Now, we have work to do.” The bonding had made them stronger. Whatever this new relationship was, would only make them a more formidable force. Alexia was still trying to come to terms with exactly what she felt for Ashlyn. What she knew was she wanted to be around her fellow Priestess. She wanted to be near here, touch her, experience her. It was all very strange and new. She smiled. “We had better get started.” She did not know what the future held, but she was excited.
