Does this faction have a leader? Talking to Lupe, it doesn't sound like he's FL anymore (Lupe: "don't have time"). I know someone recently sign-up, so there's at least one member, but is there even enough members to stay operational?

I've recently thrown my hat in (RE: CAIN recruitment post-Time Jump) though not seen much activity since, and have subsequently begun shaping my character's story to accommodate what he sees as, essentially, the breakdown of the Ascendancy. Whether or not this could be used to aid an effort in bringing the Chiss remnant back to some level of activity (I'd be up for that, if we could find enough RP-ers to keep it operational) or just have my character join some other faction (two of which I've recently enquired about), it would depend on the Chiss faction being lead by an FL willing to keep stories, missions and other aspects frequent and fresh.

I'm in. Whether other people are, we'll wait and see...

'Economic Mismanagement,' I believe was the term I read in the official Story Writeup. A shame, but honestly the best solution to a dying faction that was meant to have at least some sort of influential activity. Not even a third of my old Chiss stuff could be found from before, lol.

My idea for my character involves him/her being a part of the Military as a tank commander with moderate piloting skills in most other vehicles.

Because of the sheer lack of members, would this be appropriate or is there any other areas in need of filling? I don't want all of us to bunch into one sector of the faction and leave the rest untouched (PC-wise, I mean).

That's space military, I'll be in the regular army unless we are all in the military in which case I'll make some sort of intelligence officer/diplomat, so we can have all areas covered by PCs (mostly).

Also, as Weiss pointed out above, we will need a leader. We'll also probably need a whole lot of organization, as I get the impression the Chiss didn't get much love (or as much as it needed) in the first part of the time line (it did die out...).

I'll get a character up within the week, hopefully. Have the admins written up what the Chiss did/went through during the skip?

Yes, we had an economic collapse, the Sith abandoned us, and the Hutts repoed our fleet. I will not be able to be faction leader because I'm trying to get an indie approved right now.

It got love by the echelon. Echelons have tried and tried to get activity, but barely anyone was interested. Even when events were sponsored, rarely did they get activity. The problem, sadly, is not mainly bad leadership. It's that there's not really much interest by people in the Chiss.

Despite that, in a Remnant state of the faction, I feel like you guys have a nice lineup of involved characters - for the current settings of things, I wouldn't be surprised if the fractured Chiss turned out more like the Rebellion than the Mandalorians.

Well, I am intending to make a Chissss. Well, if there was independent faction still running that would be awesome. Otherwise, she is going to hunt some fat hutts, and get at least one ship back. Plan B, you know..plan B.

Actually the Chiss is one of my favorite two species. So, I am gonna enjoy RPing her. And four active members can do great difference.
