So on a serious note, I was thinking of making a Imperial Knight does anyone have any advice for me, like should I find someone to train my character, or what?

When the Rebellion revamp stuff hits I'll have a thread up that gives people considering making a Knight a decent overview of what to consider in terms of personality, backstory, etcetera. It's currently a work in progress. The only reason I mention this is because... well, people coming up with Knights now is going to be a little awkward when we're half-way through revising stuff.

Stay tuned. I'll drop you and the other potential IK's a PM with what I have cobbled together.

For a formal name consideration, I suggest basing it off of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), which was the British arm for the espionaging and sabotaging things.

In terms of the non-Force sensitives that are affiliated with the Imperial Knights, I am disappointed that they are considered simply members of the Rebellion. It clashes with an older suggestion that the Imperial Knights and their cohorts having a different agenda than the Alliance-affiliated rebels, which I felt was an interesting dynamic. If the separation of the Imperial Knights and Imperial rebels is merely an OOC organizational thing, I would be okay with it.

Glad to see the Imperial rebellion getting some attention, though.

I considered SOE originally, or at least something with the same acronym. In the end though, I figured something half-way original might be better.

A fair bit of thought was given to whether or not we lump the non-Force sensitive Imperials with the Rebels or Knights, but ultimately it came down to what was more important? Giving the Imperial Knights very much their own 'space' and focus on them alone, or to share that with maybe... one-two ex-Imperials who weren't Knights we'd probably get. I mean heck, Imperial Knights/Marshalls were never popular at the best of times, let alone those who aren't sensitive. Yeah, in an ideal world everybody would get their own special little-sub group and unique dynamic. Instead, dedicating things completely to the Knights - a moderately popular group - rather than 'splitting' things between them when almost nobody would play the non-FS' felt pointless. Largely, it is just an OOC organisational thing however. In the Knight-Mission thread I've been working on, I've made it apparent that ex-Imperials can join in where appropriate. Ex-Imperials are also encouraged to get involved with Knight plots.

As I said in the original thread, if there's actually people making ex-Imperials (and actually playing them, not just "oh this sounds cool ^^" and then vanishing off the face of the earth after one post) with enough support to warrant expanding the Knights into more of a True Throne sub-group then I'm all for it.
