Welcome to the Star Wars Books and Comics forum! If it wasn't obvious from the name, this is where we discuss the various different kinds of Star Wars literature, including books, comics, and even short stories. Although it is no longer canon, you can also discuss Star Wars Legends - formerly known as the Expanded Universe - in this forum.

We have a few thread prefixes that you can use:

• Book. This is for all current and future novels and books (including reference books) in the official Star Wars canon.
• Comic. This is for all current and future comic books and series in the official Star Wars canon.
• Short Story. This is for all current and future short stories, such as the ones in the Star Wars Insider magazine, in the official Star Wars canon.
• Legends. This is for any story - book, comic, etc. - that appeared in Star Wars Legends/the Expanded Universe. The reason we have a Legends specific prefix while the others belong to canon is that most readers are going to currently be reading the new canon works, rather than Legends stories - but Legends is nonetheless important to us and to the community, so we have included this prefix.
