“Nah.” Daveny said busying herself with the stubborn Lekku that reflectively curled about her shoulders in times of great stress.

“I never liked the name Junior.” she said with little eye contact as she turned her head to loosen her top. The scuffle had left her disheveled. She pulled her leather vest over her head with difficulty, the white tank beneath hiked up above her stomach.

------

The Chagrian’s large ship was in swift pursuit and had Naomi’s craft in its sights.

On board the captain was scowling, her bought a blue hand to his mouth and bit his knuckles in concentration as he gave the order to halt an attack.
He didn’t want to wipe the ship from the galaxy- he wanted its contents.
It was no good destroyed…not until he had the twi’lek alive.

----

Once the annoyance had been removed from her back the twi’lek stood and began to unlatch her polished boots. wriggling from her pants, she kicked the tight leg off with disregard for her lack of privacy. Beneath she wore shorter bottoms cut at “boy short” length slung low on her hips.

She removed the straps from her shoulders and held them in her mouth while re applying her high steel waders.

“Just out of curiosity,” She said, her voice slightly muffled by her mouths occupant.

“Do you hang out in Ryloth bars on the off chance everyone on the planet will go nuts and a damsel in distress with need to be carried off the plant and into the sunset?” She finished the back lacing and removed the straps, pulling them over her torso like a belt and securing them tight.

“Or was I just special?” she winked.

((sorry for the confusing price up above I realized I didn't make it clear that the total was put together, not for what you individually owed.))

Naomi plotted the course for coruscant as soon as she reached the cockpit and hit the hyper drive just to get the annoying whining noise of the hyperdrive failing. *sigh* “always when I push the engines to hard.” She said as she got up and made her way back through the main area to get to the engine room.

OOC: Haha. I remember on the old forums some character relationship scenes went to the borderline of R.

*William Storm was not a very complicated man. He was someone who enjoyed the three simple things that kept the galaxy spinning everyday. Those three things, to his mind at least, happened to be women, fighting, and drinking. He was fairly sure that this ship's pilot didn't carry any type of ale with her for long trips. He could tell she just wasn't the type who liked to unwind with a glass of ale one hand and a cigar held casually in the other. It was also clear from the way she had gone at him with a verbal lashing reminiscent of his late mother that she won't like him fighting on board her ship. Not that he would be so rude to do such a thing had there been anyone to fight. This sadly ment two of three things he enjoyed doing were unavailable to him.*

*He might have found this to be a depressing and dull trip, but depression and boredom never got their chance to appear as the Twi'lek seated next to him started to strip herself of clothing. Those drinks back at the cantina had made so his vision was far and away from 20/20 sight, but that didn't mean he didn't know what he this staring at. Removing his cigar and holding it loosely between his fingers he grinned at her in response to her wink.*

"Everytime I go to a cantina something special happens. Sometimes what happens is good and sometimes it's bad, but it's always special. What are you darlin'? The good or the bad kind?"

((lol she's not enticing him she's just changing!))

She paused in thought at bad Billy’s words.

"I don't know...." She said, looking up at the ceiling.

"It depends on what you are."

The ship suddenly rocked with turbulence and she quickly steadied herself.

"What was that?" she squeaked.

Naomi walked by the two, in the main area on her way to the engine room. “If you are going to do that find a cabin, not in the main area please.” She said as she rounded the corner and entered the engine room.

OOC: Doesn't matter why she's doing it. A female is removing clothing in the presence of a drunk male. The reaction will always be the same.:p

*His shoulders rose and fell in a slow shrug as he tilted his head to one side. Scratching at his goatee as he thought over the question she had asked him. He knew that whenever a woman replied to a question with a question it was usually some kind of trap. He down glanced at the floor, as if somewhere within it's reflective depths lay the correct answer to her supposed trick. No, no sudden insight came to him. Maybe he was just reading to much into what was a honest question. He decided to go with the obvious response.*

"I'm the man who carried you away from an angry mob intent on beating, if not killing you."

*His body swayed with the jolt and bump as the ship's hyperdrive sputtered. A mixture of the drinks and his experience with space travel would have ment him not even paying mind to it had Daveny not asked.*

"That is what a hyperdrive sounds like when it doesn't work."

*He ignored Naomi's comments as she passed through the main room. He wanted to get dropped off on a planet, but not by way of an escape pod. Besides, she didn't seem like a girl who responded to flirts, at least not very well as far he could tell.*

A comm link inside the ship suddenly crackled to life with a gruff voice narrating.

“This is captain Ka’ran Hal.” It said, Daveny froze.

It was the Chagrian’s voice.

“I wish to speak to the pilot, concerning the Twi’lek we believe you are harboring.”

System. “This is captain Naomi Sol of the Nirvana how can I help you?”

The holo imaged flickered displaying a lank Chagrian with thick horns of equal length.

"Miss Sol, I must advise against any brash actions on your part, for you have something that rightfully belongs to me on board your ship. Surrender the twi'lek and your ...Nirvana or I will not hesitate to take both from you on my own terms." he said.

“What she do? And if it’s something bad, I’ll be more than happy to hand her over to you for nineteen thousand credits, and I keep my ship.” Naomi then engaged the engines, “if you want I can come along side but I will not dock unless I get you’re word, that I get paid and keep my ship.”

Ka’ran’s nose wrinkled.

“I’m afraid that is confidential. Miss Sol, I will not pay you for what I already own!” He gestured behind him at an unseen figure and turned his attention back to her with a grin.

“ Your ship is imperative- a search amongst its wares might be necessary for my….requirements.” he said. He had weapons and he intended to use them.

“”if you do not surrender your ship-!” he suddenly lost balance as if the craft had tilted and slide a little ways suddenly looking off screen as he cried:

"Get those online! ready the -"

the holo image was lost, reappearing in flashes without the speaker present and wild audio filling the room with buzzing.

The planet of Ryloth, a ring of beauty encirling an otherwise desolate and harsh planet. It was a very popular planet, but not always for the most honest of reasons. And also a sore spot in Daxter's soul, his late wife was of the twi'lek species, and he didnt like to think about those dark days often. The only reason he frequented the space around the mostly tan planet was because of his chosen proffesion. Daxter was one of the many men and women who had chosen the life of piracy and pillaging. He was slightly different than the rest of the rabble though, prefering to kill only if his clients, refused to part with their belongings.

As Daxter dropped out of hyperspace he saw two ships somewhat close to one another. Possibly conversing or just randomly floating close to one another. The pirate didnt really care, they were both just jewels to him, more credits in his pocket.

One of the gun teams comm'd to the command center of Daxter's corvette. "Captain, what ship should we fire on?"

Daxter scratched his chin in thought as he sat in his pilots chair. Giving up on trying to decided he put a hand over his eyes and randomly pointed at the view screen. "That one my friend. Shoot the bigger one."

With his words the twin dual turbolaser turrets on the front of the ship opened fire. They were not meant to destroy but to cripple, all the valuables on ships got less valuable when frozen by cold space, and Daxter didnt want that one bit. The crew was told to keep the fire up, he didnt want to give them a chance to return fire after all.

The pirate captain then comm'd the smaller second ship, Daxter didnt want them to open fire on him, before he got a chance to take care of the bigger threat.

"This is Daxter Shae, of the Odyssey, I hope thats wasnt your friend. I just wanted to let you know that ill probably be taking their ship." He cut the comms before the other ship could respond, not really in the mood for conversation.

“Great pirates, I’m so not doing taxi contracts no more.” Naomi punched the sub light engines to full and began to put as much distance between the two as possible, she also activated the dual laser batteries and set them to defense mode anything that locks onto them would be shot on approach. Naomi re entered the coordinates for coruscant and waited for when her ship was out of there sensor range before making the jump which would take a few minutes.

*William Storm always reacted the same way when placed in a life or death situation. He would find the closest person threatening his life, kill that unfortunate person, and move on to next one. This routine clearly wasn't going to work for a number of reasons due to the position he was in. The biggest reason being that he couldn't shot from the inside of one ship, through the void of space, and hit someone inside another ship. That made him useless during this this less than smooth getaway.*

*He walked into the cockpit cabin, standing behind the pilot's chair as she tried to bargain with their pursuer. He watched through the front viewpoint as another ship exited hyperspace and blasted away at their pursuer before sending a threatening message. Watching Naomi as she tried to make an escape into lightspeed. He responded with the only thing he could think of. Humor.*

"I doubt anyone will want to ride anywhere with you after this. You have the horrible luck of going from bad to worst fairly quick."

Daveny was torn, on one hand her threatening competition was probably floating in dead space right now, which would mean no more fighting over death sticks she rightfully ordered. She pictured Mr. Kartel, looking handsome in his suite and thanking her for a job well done…then proceeding to remove his suite and…OH! Right…On the other hand- Pirates!

Or all the things in all the galaxy it had to be pirates…

She would return to Coruscant with not death sticks to show for herself, No cash to make up for it- or not show up at all if the huge ship outside had any say.

"What a day...." she sighed, throwing her hand over her eyes dramatically.

---

Several escape pods exited the ship, one with the captain on board.

He was set for coruscant, now that Ka'ran was forced to abandoned his ship, their order and their pay for the week he was after blood. He planned to regroup at their establishment, there was nothing left to lose.

but he refused to go out empty handed.

The last of the large enemy ships point defence systems had been destroyed by the Odyssey's last salvo. The pirate captain watched as several escape pods rocketed from the crafts surface and into the dark void of space. Daxter thought it funny that the opposing ships captain hadnt even tried to negociate, he personally wished that every ship he treid to take acted the same way as the one one filling his view screen, it saved ammunition and the precious time he needed before any authoritive figures showed up to lend a hand.

"Ready the boarding craft." Daxter said as he stood from his seat to get closer to the view screen. Several thumps reverberated through the ship as the boarding craft launch out of the ship. They could be seen approaching the crippled vessel.

"I want full control of that ship in less than 15 minutes. Dont slack on me boys and Ill buy you all a round when he hit planet side next." The captain said with a gruff laugh.

He walked over to the comm's station on the bridge, looking over the shoulder of the man fevorishly working to jam any incoming an outgoing signals or transmissions that might alert any unwanted guests. Daxter set his hand on the officers shoulder. " Hail the second ship again. I want to have a word with their captain. Maybe we can figure out why those ships were so close together in the first place."

The comm's officer nodded and patched Daxter through, but not before the captain placed his helmet on his head. Remaining as anonomous as possible was a key thing in being on the wrong side of the law. Daxter stepped back so that he would be a full body holo prjection on the opposing ship, he was wearing his full armor, and had his hands folded behind his back.

"This is Daxter Shae of the Odyssey....again. Might I enquire as to why that ship was so close to yours? Was it hostile to you? Or were you just chatting?" Daxter just wanted to get a good grip on the situation. The smaller ship hadnt jumped yet, which meant it either wasnt able to or it didnt want to. He was hoping the later. Hopefully they would think of him as some sort of savior, and give him something valuable.

She let a smile slip because of the irony of the joke storm made “after this I may just stick to normal mercenary contracts.” She finished saying as she attempted the Hyperdrive ounce more just to get the same noise as before of it failing, and at the same time the pirate contacting them gain ‘well looks like they were just after the big pry.’ “They were hostile they wanted a person I am transporting for reasons un-known, I was just trying to negotiate on keeping my ship as you showed up.”

Daxter relaxed his posture a little when the holo of the oposing ships capatin appeared on the holoport. She looked young, he wondered to himself why anyone would give her a ship in the first place. It wasnt because of her gender, Daxter had fought along side the opposite sex and seen that they were just as capable as men. It was her age, she didnt look very experienced, probably why she got in trouble in the first place. The pirate sighed before speaking.

" Sooo.....Do you know if this particular person has some sort of bounty on thier head? If they're causing you this much trouble I could always take them off your hands. Id be willing to pay you up front, seeing as I have a new ship and all."

Naomi considered this for a moment ‘well he is not demanding anything and he seems sincere, but best to be prepared non the less’

“we should talk this out face to face, instead of over comm.’s you never know who may be listening, if you would be nice enough to direct me to a docking port, or if you want in a sign of no hostility I can slave my controls over to you’re ship and you can guide my ship in.”

Daxter almost laughed at the young womans offer. He had never ran into anyone who was willing to give him the codes to their ship, he was a pirate after all. Stuff like that didnt happen often, if at all.

" Your willing to give me? A pirate. The codes to slave your ship?" Daxter continued to contain his laughter as he spoke.

"No no no. That wont be nesseccary. You may dock mid port side. You should see were to dock because it should be opening up to accept your umbilical as we speak. I will continue this conversation when we meet in person." With that Daxter shut off the comm link, turning as he did so to leave the bridge.

He gave a follow gesture as he left causing the guards on the bridge to follow him. Their armor was similar in design to his, not anywhere near as strong or made by the same materials though. Daxter mostly did it for astetics.

The pirate captains boot falls exchoed through the ships hallways as he walked, the sound was off, not rythmic, due to Daxter's injured knee. He had refused to get it fixed several times, wanting it to be a reminder not to let your guard down ever.

Daxter stopped infront of the interior airlock door, flanked by guards. He himself was unarmed, but all those around him were armed to the teeth, willing to die for their captain.
