DESCRIPTION​

A staple of CorSec, the YC-50G is the newest version of the tried and tested starfighter. While the original YG-50 was used over a hundred and fifty years ago, the designed proved so popular with Law Enforcement personnel that it was revamped into the YG-50A and re-released. This trend continued until the newest release, which was met with a particular hype from both the Military and Commercial sectors. Boasting fairly powerful weapons and shields for a ship its size, as well as a good speed, the ship is well suited for a variety of roles ranging from intercepting smugglers to providing covering fire for a drug bust. With the war raging with the Sith, the demand for starfighters has skyrocketed, and CEC has increased production of the already popular craft ten-fold.

Note: This craft, while seeing extensive use in the Republic, it is also available in a weaker civilian variant, boasting only two laser cannons for armaments and weaker civilian subsystems. Military models are also sold to Planets and Paramilitary groups.

DESCRIPTION​

Sometimes seen as a cousin ship to the Freemaker-class Frigate, the Halycion is a completely different beast. Designed to aid in the war effort as a pack ship, the Halycion is often seen in groups of four, their balance between speed and armaments allowing them to wreak havoc in groups. Theri versatility also allows them to perform various roles, such as escorting, commerce raiding, direct attacks, and scouting missions. This also means the Halycion doesn't particularly excel at anything, being very midline when compared to other frigates.

curious if any of this tech is still waiting to be approved, if it's scrapped or what not. at the moment i think we have plenty of ships (and i have a few ideas in storage) so wondering what y'all were thinking about for this one.
