History:
Just after the settlement of Belgaroth, a traveler named Hien Bo decided to explore the planet, while he was gifted in the force he simply couldn't wrap his mind around one all powerful field that could rule the destiny of a person. He set out on a journey to discover what this force really was.

Hein Bo found his way to all the space ports he could and spoke with any force user he could discern, their clothing was enough to give away their occupation. From them he learned a general understanding, tranquil thinking were the ways of light while rash and aggressive thoughts were those of the dark. Surely, that could not be all there was to it. Hein Bo had seen Jedi of light battle Jedi of darkness and they used the same flow of energy against each other, each was just as strong. He decided to search the world for the answers he sought.

Hien Bo spent 20 years in seclusion, wandering the world and surviving on his minor force use. He made fires with no rocks to spark to boil water, created dugouts to give shelter, and even crafted knives from various metal deposits in his travels. It was not until Hien Bo met a wandering Jedi named Thomas Smeit that he came across his epiphany. The Jedi was well versed in the ways of the force and found Hein Bo’s way of life interesting. The two did not become friends very quickly, it was Hien Bo’s lack of understanding that kept the two apart, but even still the Jedi was ready to lecture about responsibility to the Light and the dependence of the universe on the Light prevailing.

One day during a heavy question and answer session between Thomas and Hien Bo about the significance of the light saber to a Jedi Thomas said that it was the Jedi’s prime focus to the force. Hien Bo could see the reason, he noticed a metal casing, covering an energy cell, that created a beam of light amplified by the focusing crystal, of course this all had to be explained by Thomas. No sooner had he finished his sentence when dark cloud fell upon the young Jedi it was a dark Jedi, and it was then that Hien Bo found his true destiny. Thomas fought against the dark Jedi and called for Hien Bo to run, however Hien Bo did no such thing. He was amazed by the balance that the two created in their fighting, each side an equal proportion to a bigger part. His sight fell upon the whirling sabers, creating white light each time they clashed, “Metal, earth, water, fire, and air.” He could only seem to repeat this as his sight fell into the auras of the elements around him. Each aura was a different color than the other, but there were five total; White, green, brown, blue, and red. Glancing at his hands he found he was covered in a brown glow, he felt his feet seem to pulse with and immense energy flowing beneath him, as if he were dipping his toes into a rushing river just before a set of rapids.

The final scream from Thomas brought Hien Bo from his trance. He realized that he had indeed found a friend in Thomas Smeit, and now he could never tell his friend what he had learned, “for what is a gift of knowledge if not shared?” Thomas would always say that. Hien Bo’s hands rushed forward as a gust of wind knocked the dark Jedi off his feet, which also caused him to drop his Light saber in surprise. Hein Bo heard another scream as the earth rose around the dark one, engulfed him, and crushed the assassin under the force of the earth.

“What is the gift of knowledge if not shared?” That question haunted Hien Bo for days as he explored his new gifts more and more, his clothing became muddy, soot covered, thrashed, and torn as he honed his abilities, his strongest of which was his control of the earth. “I am a dragon,” He would say as he would train. One day it was nothing to walk with out worry of being barefooted. In fact, Hien Bo had grown to detest boots; he felt that the earth would provide him a path to walk rather than his own kin. He made his way into town and sought to teach his epiphany to others.

If it weren’t for 4 brave souls, Hein Bo would have been shot to death in the street for heresy. Fate had brought these people to him but he had no clue as to why, until he meditated on the events of the day, he saw the auras of his saviors, each he thought to represent a different element, each aura just as strong as his. Hein Bo spoke with each of his saviors and each though he was crazy until he was able to share with them his knowledge of the elements he had acquired. Wanting to know more they became Hien Bo’s students. Because of the way they met each student found that discretion was the better part of valor in matters of the elements, each element was a small part of the whole, and once the whole had been attained the practitioner was as close to a god as one being could be.

Practicing in seclusion each student found a different element; one student practiced water, one fire, one metal, and one wind. The 5 never lost contact. Each had secretly had begun training people with auras like their own. With each new student the need for secrecy grew, for the galaxy did not trust any other than Jedi, they had learned that from Hien Bo. They decided that they would act as the keepers of balance, acting from the shadows for eternity if they needed. Thomas Smeit’s sacrifice would not be in vain.

Because they would be called wizards and assassins, the group decided to call them self Tejina, and old word from Hien Bo’s homeland that meant shadow sorcerer. Now they watch from the shadows, protecting the balance that the galaxy has made for itself.

Beliefs:
The Tejina believe that “The Whole” (The Force) is a combination of 5 separate elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Metal. These elements, while powerful in their own right, are even greater when combined with the others in any form or fashion. True mastery of “The Whole” comes when a being ascends through the order and transcends essences, from that of the being’s original essence to that of mythical creatures and then into Dragons and even gods (to the order’s thinking) themselves.

Relations with Other Factions:
When dealing with other force users, the Tejina are at worst respectful of their ideas and at best receptive to the consept of a differing opinion. They understand that they segment "The Whole" while the Jedi practice the simple manipulation of "The Whole." In some ways the Tejina pity the Jedi for this single mindedness, feeling that they don't see that they of using air to move an object to an awaiting hand.

In matters not pertaining to the force, Balance is everything. If the five Kamiryu deem a mission necessary to the balance of the galaxy, then the mission is given to an appropriate operative.

Location: Belgaroth.
Belgaroth is an excellent place for elemental Tejina to practice their art, there is at least one of each element and more than enough space to safely practice the art of infiltration and subterfuge without much hassle.

Acceptance:
Gaining acceptance into the Tejina is simple, be noticed by them and show some form of strength in an element. From there the candidate is taken and presented before a Kamiryu (one who has attained enough insight into the Whole to use it without effort) and is given a title of Elemental.

Combat style:
Tejina manipulate short lingth lightsabers, with blade lengths reaching from 4-6 inches. the Tejina consider the light saber a true mastery of "The Whole," Metal casing housing earth and water (the acid in the energy cell), combining to create wind and fire (the blade). Other than that Tejina are free, and encouraged to learn new combat techniques, including techniques or styles the memic other classes (such as Jedi), to cover the secretive group's tracks.

Training:
Training in the order consists of both mental and physical study. The Elemental will be assigned a Sensei (Teacher) that is also tied to the same element and will study theory of nature, hacking, and anatomy. Physical training involves sparing, elemental control, manual lock picking, tactical movement (Includes stealth training), Treat injury, and biology.

Attaining a new Rank:
When an elemental can demonstrate enough skill with their element (Sensei’s are encouraged to be fair but devious), they may advance in rank. However if the task is too daunting for the elemental, the Sensei’s training techniques are brought into question and then submitted to the Kamiryu. Depending on what they decide to do about the problem if they do anything about the problem, The sensei could be assigned another elemental and the elemental may receive training from a ryu to ascertain where the training may have went wrong. If the task is successful then a new title is earned from the elemental’s strongest element.

Typical missions:
The Tejina are a neutral faction and will accept missions with objectives ranging from assassination, to protection. The best way to describe this faction is a clan of ninja Force users from feudal Japan. Their prices are competitive with the local competition and all from the rank of elemental to dragon are not afraid of the life they live.

Benefits:
All members of the Tejina tradition are given enough money to lay low, bribe, and survive (around 400 credits), per mission. The elemental and Sensei each receive 5% of the profit from the mission if completed and 2% if not. Any Tejina with an elemental student has (through special connections) access to free, low quality lodging and supplies for their craft as well as information on marks, artifact or living.

Shaal might join...if anyone decides to train her, her main ability will most likely be force jump and speed. Good job!

You might want to explain what your factions does and how it operates. I've read this and I don't really know the point of the faction to be honest. I mean they believe in the elements but what's their reasoning? Why do they carry out assassinations? Why protect people? Just money? Or is it tied to their beliefs? What are their beliefs aside from that the force is divided into five elements?

I'm just throwing out there Anaxes plays host to probably the largest Republic military base, fortifications and garrison in known space. It's more easily defendable than even Coruscant. As they're assassins and money for hire, they wouldn't be legally accepted in the Republic. I don't know if the highest concentration of Republic forces is really where you want your base of assassins.

I see your point, i was too rash in choosing a planet that had dealt in military might since discovery. however I have found a better choice, during the current time it looks like Belgaroth would be the best place for this faction, its out of the way, and then used as a way point for travelers. Thank you for the input, I really appreciate it, and am currently adding the info that you have asked for.

While I agree that the Templars of Sha are elementalists, from what I have read about them is that they consider their powers a divine gift, and are the equivalent to elemental knights and wizards. While this is not unlike my submitted faction, and mine is not nearly as detailed as the Templars, I still think that my faction is unique because of their focus on elemental control and the reasoning behind it (IE: A tejina believes that when he uses a telekinesis power, he is manipulating the air itself to bring the object to his/her hand). Tejina focus on becoming one with an element, and that mastery of the elements brings about perfection. Yes, this is a a more primal use of the force than the Templar's, somewhere meeting them but again, the Tejina believe that they are simply manipulating the elements, not revering them, or taking them as a divine gift.

For these reasons, I would still like the Tejina to be an acceptable faction, because of the differences in the two.
