D'Jareth is sitting in the center of a circular room, meditating on his makeshift lightsaber, held together by the most modest of means: makeshift welding. He is cross-legged, the lightsaber disassembled into its core parts, the crystal he had been given on Kashyyyk at its epicenter. While in this meditation, D'Jareth is able to sense the world around him, ready to strike should a violent situation arise...

Thair stood not two meters away from the ship's meditation chamber. The Swordmaster patiently waited for his guest and at the same time ruminated on the idea of bringing him to the Pentacle Athame Order's enclave. Was it really the course of action he wanted to follow? D'Jareth was clearly strong in the Force but the Jedi Order didn't accept him. They were defenders of peace but this was war. Someone like D'Jareth could prove valuable to them or worse... The Bogan.

With a stern look on his face Thair crossed his arms and opened the door with the Force.

As you enter, you see his lightsaber rebuilding itself. More importantly, you see that the primary focus crystal is an amber-colored Upari crystal, found only on Kashyyyk. The lightsaber seems quite makeshift, crafted from two different lightsabers, with many of the necessary parts being from the lightsaber of a Jedi Master. The lightsaber reassembles, then is wrapped in tach leather, giving it a rustic appearance.

"Who are you?"

D'Jareth stands up, as you soon realize he's no Cathar, but a Schenor, a rare species of Force-Sensitive Lion-Folk. He looks almost identical to a Cathar, minus one important detail: He's 8' 9" tall and 410lbs of muscle. Looking at him closely, his rather ragged garb appears to be wook-craft, meaning he spent time on Kashyyyk. His face is stern, almost cold in his gaze, examining you from head to toe.

Thair took two long steps into the room with his fingers drumming on the curves of his elbows. "I'm the guy who picked you up off of Coruscant," he replied with a smile pulling at the corners of his mouth, "also I'm the guy who can help you find a place to belong. If you are interested in learning more about your 'talents' you can find me in the cockpit." Thair turned about and started to exit.

"You mean my aptitude in the Force?"

The bluntness could be either a blessing or a curse that he knows he's adept in the Force. D'Jareth begins to practice his Wookiee Cleaver Style of Swordfighting, augmenting his combat style with the Force. While untrained in its finer skills, he has an extreme aptitude for it in the most raw of forms. Anyone on a nearby planet with sensitivity could sense him. When he finishes, he heads to the cockpit, sheathing his cleaver as he enters the cockpit. He sits in the copilot seat, and turns to you

"Am I correct?"

"You are correct, sir." mumbled Thair as he reached over the yoke to flip a few switches. The ship's sub-light engines cut-off, leaving the craft to drift in space for a time. Sighing lightly Thair turned in his seat to face his passenger with a grin. "You know that much at least, but how much do ya know?"

"I understand that it is the lifeblood of the universe and that through training, one's aptitude in it can be enhanced. However, I am no expert on its finer details"

He pulls his lightsaber from his hip, staring at the constructed weapon he made on his adopted home, as a single tear streeks down his face, remembering his finest hour: his hunt of a katarn where he found the remains of which he build his current lightsaber

"Well, that sums it all up rather nicely. Clearly you are sensitive to the Force, but can you use it?" asked Thair with a steady gaze. It could seem as if he were intviewing the creature in front of him, and that would be true. But his intentions were merely in the hopes of better understanding D'Jareth's capabilities. If the oversized Cathar understood rudimentary use of the Force it would be easier to prepare him for what would soon come.

(OOC: schenor is actually a separate race from cathar. here's the link: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Schenor)

D'Jareth leans back, lifting his lightsaber with only the Force

I have some talent. During a fight with a madclaw, I unleashed a roar and hurled him into a tree. I don't know how I did it, but I somehow used the Force in my roar.

((OOC: I know. I read his profile. Still, its not like every character would know the differences. He still thinks he's a Cathar.))

"The Force is in every living creature, but they all can't use it. Some are more attuned that others. And there is plenty they can do with the Force." An audible click followed Thair's explanation as he unlatched his lightsaber from its clip. He held up the lengthy hilt and twirled it in the palm of his hand before snatching it and setting it down on his lap. "One useful skill is using your mind to communicate."

"Telepathy? My former to-be master was talented in this. He said that he would teach me. That was almost 20 years ago"

His eyes well up, thinking of his dead to-be master, Bondar.

"May I ask where we are going?"

Where they were going? The question dredged up a long forgotten memory that left the normally chatty Thair speechless. Six years had passed since he first was taken to Polis Massa, and entered the Pentacle Athame Order's enclave, the very same place he was taking D'Jareth. But that information couldn't be shared so Thair instead gave out a vague, yet hopefully satisfying answer. "We're going to a place of knowledge, like a library. Of course before I take you there, you must learn to speak with your mind. They have a very strict no talking rule," he almost chuckled as he finished delivering his half-truth.

"I understand."

D'Jareth stands back up, lightsaber in hand, preparing himself for further training

"I will go back to the Meditation Chamber so I can practice my style. I will actually try to use my lightsaber for the first time"

The thought of an untrained warrior using a lightsaber for the first time, not even a training blade, but a lethal lightsaber, is terrifying. He seems confident in his abilities, however.

Thair dismissed D'Jareth with a haphazard wave as he propped his legs up onto the ships yoke and initiated hyperdrive with the toe of his boot. "While you meditate, focus on reaching out to me and explaining yourself. Do not use your voice. Just your mind." Thair said, projecting his voice into the big catman's mind. It would have seemed as if he were standing right next to D'Jareth from the way he chose to have his voice sound.

Minutes pass by, then hours, then suddenly, you can hear him relay his thoughts, as if telling you his every movements

"Step right, strike overhand, underhand, then overhand again. Then shift left, sweep, parry, then strike high-to-low. Leap a meter forward, buttstroke, then finishing thrust...

"Don't forget to taunt the enemy," Thair telepathically chimed in while reclining in the pilot's chair. He could sense every motion made by D'Jareth in the other room, almost as if he were there himself. Anything that went on in the ship, Thair could sense. He could feel the hum of the hyperdrive engines, the whirring of consoles throughout the ship and the heartbeat in his breast.

At least they were progressing.

I understand, Master...

D'Jareth continues to practice his fighting style, continuing the ritualistic practice, then he kneels, giving thanks to the Wookiee ancestors of his adopted tribe, as well as the ancestors of his own kind, thanking them for watching over him and allowing him to live his dream of becoming a Jedi

I am going to return to the cockpit, then we shall speak further on Polis Massa

Surprisingly, he was able to read your surface thoughts, and knows limitedly of what is to come. He didn't read deeper into your memories, but knows where and what he is going to see...

Thair scoffed at that comment, it seem the man did possess a fair degree of talent if he discerned that bit of information. It just proved his potential was more than fair. He had the makings of a fine Swordmaster, if he could prove himself. "There will be no talking once we arrive at our destination," he said, once D'Jareth arrived at the cockpit, "just thinking."

"I understand. Code of Silence, I assume... Well then, perhaps destiny smiles upon me this day"

D'Jareth sits in the pilot seat, staring into the inky blackness of space. He Saw as the ship approached a planet he assumed by his comrade's facial expression was the planet they were to lnd on.

I am ready...
