"Rough morning more like..." Haven grinned sheepishly. "Sleepings the easiy part. From what i saw, the time is 8.40. Meaning that i was late." She coughed a few times, wanting to change the subject. Noticing the two lightsabers in koutas' hands, she raised her eyesbrows, surprised. The length of the hilt showed that they were double-bladed, just like her own. But two?

"You intend to operate a double-bladed saber?" Haven asked. "Show them to me." Haven was not sure why kouta has constructed two, but admittedly there was no harm in doing so. Haven would study the blades that he had constructed, then the next important step in Kouta's training would formally begin.

Kouta was relieved that he wasn't the one that was late, "Well, Yea, two sabers. Their double so i ill never be at a disadvantage in a saber fight. Even if i we're to be dis armed while using a single blade one each, i am still able to activate the other blade and still fight efficiently." it seemed Kouta put great thought into the creation of his sabers. HE activated both blades on both of his sabers. Each of them had a light cyan hue to it. However, around each blade, the outer corona of the glow seemed to swirl around the core of the blade itself. "Every aspect of this blade has a part of myself in it." he said standing, the pain still throbbing throughout his torso.

Haven nodded her approval, knowing that Kouta would have pushed for time, especially since he went and gathered his own crystals. indeed, he could utilise them as single-bladed weapons as well... "Very well then, you've shown that you are ready to learn how to use these powerful weapons." Haven said, taking out her own lightsaber. "From what i have gathered, i believe that the saber form that will suit you the most is... Form Seven, Juyo." Though the form was not one that Haven particularly liked, as she held a general dislike towards what she perceived to be savagery, but she knew it was the suitable form for Kouta.

Activating her lightsaber, the two ice-blue blades appeared, and Haven spoke while going through the basic drills of the form. "Unpredictable. Relentless. That's what Juyo is. The ferocity form. To master the technique, you must musted your own emotions as well as learn the technical aspects of it to perfection. The form is very demanding, but i'll expect you to step up to the challenge." Haven swung her lightsaber, dealing out sequences of bold and direct attacks to all directions. "Attacks from different angles, chaos, yet harmony." Haven said as she remembered that she had not asked Kouta about the Jedi code yet.

As she stepped back to watch Kouta perform the drills, she added almost as an afterthought, wanting to see how Kouta really viewed the code, while under distraction from his combat drills. "Recite to me the Jedi code, and what they truly mean to you."

((Will get the mission started soon, just need to sort some stuff out XD))

"Juyo hm?" he repeated as she told him the style he was going to learn first. "I was leaning towards that or Ataru, as they did seem to suit my style the best." he claimed. Kouta began to practice forms, half imitating what Haven showed, though he improvised much, the main thought in his mind was unpredictable, and his moves matched that. All of his attacks seemed completely random, as if he had gone wild, though if one we're to inspect his moves closely, one would see that there was great choreography to it. each opening left by one attack, was covered by his other blade. Along the strikes, the blades seemed to be turning on and off in accordance to which end of the hilt was facing away from Kouta. The technique wasn't perfect, yet, though Kouta would refine it in time. Unknowingly, Kouta was starting to utilize the base principle of Trakata within the Juyo form. Each strike held purpose, each swing full of emotion, his anger, hate, pain, passion, everything channeled into his blade, as if he was releasing it through his swipes.

As he trained, Kouta was asked his perspective on the jedi code. Emotion, yet peace, Ignorance, yet knowledge," he started between breaths, speaking while he struck, not wasting the exhale, "Passion, yet serenity, Chaos, yet Harmony" Memories of Kouta's past flooded his mind, fueling the passion in his strikes even further, until he stopple, lowering his blade, "Death...." he looked at Haven, "Yet the force."

"The first, to me is a justification for a failure" he began, "The chase to purge emotions from oneself, an impossible task, was justified by saying, 'yea, you CAN have emotions now, just limit them, or control them heavily to find inner peace'" Kouta shook his head, "Not an aspect of the code i agree on. Emotions are not one to be controlled, or rejected, but embraced. To cut off emotions is to cut off a part of one's self, to live incomplete," he smirked, "I'd rather live my life through the pains and joys with my emotions, and learn to adapt to those pains, then to live my life in peace without them"

"Ignorance yet knowledge" Kouta took a moment to thing, having resumed his practice, "To simply put it, we hunger for knowledge, as we cannot truly understand everything until we have experienced it ourselves. This can cross over to the emotion aspect of the code."

"As for the third line, our passions an be our friend, yet our enemy. If known how to be used correctly, it becomes a powerful ally, though if one does not have an inner serenity, they can be consumed by that passion. This may cause that individual to lose themselves, one of the saddest of fates, a fate i was at the brink of falling to myself."

"Chaos, yet harmony" Kouta's mind juggled his thoughts and the moves he was tryign to perfect, "Nothing goes according to plan, Ever. To some, this can result in complete Chaos. But nothing in this world is truly chaotic, it's only an illusion. Everything happens exactly how it was meant to, when it was meant to."

"And the last" Kouta stopped once more, deactivating and sheathing his blades this time, fully facing Haven, "Death has no existence. One life does not end, ever, it only changes form." he spoke, "Ones that we hold dear to us may be gone in body, yet they are always here in spirit, or what the order would say 'through the force'" Kouta's eyes showed a pain, resurfaced after many long years, his voice revealing traces of the same pain, no matter how hard he masked it.

OOC: woo, that took awhile lol

Haven stayed silent during the ordeal, listening and studying kouta's behaviour during the ordeal. Having personal interpretations of the Jedi code was fine, but Haven felt that she had to more carefully explain a few details, especially regarding kouta's attitude towards the first line. ”Emotion, yet peace. One that causes conflict, one doubt, as evident within you. Remember, the code is not telling us to abandon emotions, only that we must learn to accept them. As Jedi, our tasks and aims will definitely come into conflict with our personal thoughts and moral guidelines. As we all know, removing all emotion from one is impossible, not to mention horrific.”

She paced around the training room, studying the walls and the ceilings. ”i cannot think of a possibly more cruel fate than to become desensitized. Nevertheless, succumbing to personal wishes and indulging in our emotions is equally foolish. As an example, we all feel anger or sadness towards death. But, though we know that those emotions are there, feeling anger is never a feasible justification for slaughter or thoughts of revenge. Take this in mind, kouta, especially since you will be treading a tedious path, being a practicioner of Juyo. if you cannot learn to accept but ultimately refrain from what your heart always desires, mark my words, you’ll fall further than you think possible.”

Haven’s normally constant cheerful face dropped, not because of anything kouta had done, but because speaking of this always brought her mind to her own experiences. Her own period of ‘falling’ had been short, but certainly eventful and held its consequences. Yes, Haven had managed to return to her normal self, but making the decisions leading to her redemption was more difficult than she had believed. The temptations were always there, and her taste of the dark side personally was a constant reminder of what she would obtain if she succumbed once again.

Facing kouta once again, Haven having walked up to him, she smiled gently, showing that she was not displeased with his answer. ”Well done kouta, you have shown that you have placed time and much thought onto those interpretations. Before my rather, uh, deep sleep, i had been informed by the Council that there is an assignment that requires my attention. You have certainly proved your capabilities, and i will be glad to have you by my side during the mission. Do you think you are ready?”

Kouta nodded, listening closely to the words Haven spoke to him, and seeing the history in her face, "I have come to terms, with the hardship and strife of my past." he started, "They are there, they have happened... and nothing an be done about that." The sadness slightly returning to his voice, though it was quickly extinguished, "However, What is to come can still be controled and changed, for the better." Kouta understood what he was told. There were times when he had to force himself to go against what he wanted, as he was forced to to what was just, rather then what he saw as 'good' "I'm beginning to understand why you suggested Juyo to me. It can become one of the greatest hurdles i must overcome." he stated.

Kouta held back a chuckle about Haven's sleeping habits, to be invited on a mission with her, "No... i don't think i'm ready for this... I know i'm ready" HE claimed, not out of a sense of pride, but rather a great trust in the training he was given by his teacher, and the growing trust he had for her herself. "I would love to go on this task with you." He said with a bow, a grin on his face as he looked up to her, lightening the mood in the room.

Having returned to the Monastery, Haven and kouta immediately reported the events of the mission to the administrating masters. The report was straight to the point. The two of them had chanced upon an assassination attempt on the senator of Obroa-Skai, and had fortunately managed to save his life. in pursuing the assassin, partly due to hoping it would assist in their persuasion towards the Senator to re-think their secession from the Republic. They had been successful in that regard, but Haven truthfully reported that whether the Senator will truly follow through with his promises is unknown.

immediately after the mission briefing, Haven asked kouta to wait in the training room they commonly used while she talked to the masters in private. Afterwards, she headed for the training room, where so much had been done leading to kouta's performance in the mission. Opening the door, Haven greeted him with a grin. "Sorry for the wait..." She slurred her words, entering the room.

"Obviously, you found the mission to be fun." Haven joked, making note of his responses after the mission. "But what did you think about the non-explosion elements of what had happened?"

kouta pitched in on the debriefing when he was needed, and waited for haven when he was asked to. he looked over and smiled warmly at her as she entered the room, "no worries" he replied to her.

Kouta leaned on the wall of the training room, one he was all to familiar with, "My thoughts?" he asked, "Well i found it funny how the blatant disrespect the Senator assaulted us with was so quickly tossed out the window after we saved him." he laughed.

"But honestly, i think he was honest with us in the end. They will stay with the republic." he claimed. "All governments are built on greed, and it doesn't matter how greedy you are, your own life is the most valuable to yourself. and his life depends on us." he looked at her, getting up off the wall and walking over, "I was worried about you" he said, laying his hand lightly on her cheek, " Making calls that put your own life at risk.... I'M the reckless one... Remember?" he said with a small smile, retracting his hand.

"All in all, i think it was a success, after i got something to eat, and got some sleep, i feel fine."
