The compleat assimilation of lok is final and absoulute, thease
humanoide like beings called the garo appaerently kept themselvs
concealed for many upon many centruries even before humans had made
their appearance in the galaxy. From what is known the garo are a race
ruled by three despots with absolute control without question, thease
are refered to as Shemuleks, the idea of a shemulek goes back to
the ancient days of the garo, apparently they didn't inhabit lok at
that time, no, garo inscriptions actualy refer to a densely vegetated
world that was dark because of the folage which reached to the heavens.
Further discoveries have narrowed this planet down to the secluded
world of vendexa, apparently the garo origonated there... But the
question still remains, why are they no longer found there? Why are
they on lok?
These and many others shall be awnsered...

are divided into three nationalities or sub sects. Thease are the three

sort of the garo empire. In the Dusk civil war the vinci held
power over the other two natinalities through space and more advanced
technolagy. The vinci Were less of warriors but more scintific in their
studys, they were wise and phillisophical. Instead of garo warriros
they built war droids to fightfor them on the feild of battle, they
harnest resources in mass quantities and were the very symbol of
industry in the Dusk civil war. However their leader Emperor
Raze II brought ideas from the fire lance divison and taught some of
the high ranking commanders how to fight with the power and agility of
a fire lance assassin... None the less dispite their advances in space
travel the vinci still found themselvs at times losing power to their
less advanced adversaries.
The Firelance assassins
Perhaps one of the most anceiant of the garo are the ledgendary fire
lance sub sect. They were each trainned assassins who like all other
garo wore masks which enhanced both sight, speech, and hearing. Along
with that they wore steel wide rimed hates which made it even harder to
get a head shot on one... They wore lose ninja like clothing and light
boots made of animal hide tightly gripped to their legs by leather
strings. Their shin gaurds were made of bronz and would give the
apperance of an army of them running on a cloud of light beneath them
as they charged into battle from the light reflecting off of this
metal.
The firelance assassins earned their name from their uniqu weapon of
choice which has been said to more acurate then most average blaster
pistols, and yet twice as effective in damage.
The weapon was called a Acklay ray by the native firelance, it was a
hollowed out staff of copper which was like a small yet light cannon,
it had a compartment in the front close to the weilder's cheast where
saltpeter could be poured in for use, each refill could last the garo
about two whole battles before he would need to replinish his
saltpeter.
Each warrior carried a quiver full of iron spears on their back all
pointed spear head down, this was because resting at the bottom of the
quiver was a small puddle of oil, so when the garo loaded their
hollowed staff and ignighted it not only would the spear shoot out at
the enemy with missle like speeds, but it too would ignight into a
flamming spear and incenerate the enemy in a ball of fire which could
destroy armored vechiles.
This along with the firelance assassin's expert ninjitsu like tranning
made them feared assassins, they were second to none in a duel and
would weild a scythe for close range combat, and they were deadly with
it too...
A good example of a firelance is Ssh'el who is now deceased, and victor
lakota; general of Lok's offensive millitary forces. He and rethius
both fought each other on the battle feild in the Dusk civil war
They even went scythe to scythe ont he battlefeild and swore death upon
one another, leading armies aginst each other... but now they sit at
the same table together under one banner...

The Larsen
Perhaps one of the best when it came t commercial enterprises were the
Larsen garo, they were the raved about garo merchants who seemingly
existed everywhere with trading outposts, they were greedy and sly and
were ideal businessmen to the extream. They didn't do a large portion
in the Dusk civil war, yet they did make them selvs known
several times by hiering mercenaries to do their work for them, they
had the deepest pockets out of the three and knew how to manipulate
bopth sides as they pleased, there wa only two recordings of them ever
fighting on the battle feild, both times they were helping the vinci
aginst the firelance divisions. For you see, the Larsens realised that
they couldent as easiely bribe the firelance assassisn to their will as
they could the Vinci, the vinci needed money, to fund ships and
vechicles, but the firelance assassins could not be bought, they were
to strict to their honour code and would kill themselvs before
dishonouring themselvs by commiting mutany. Thus the larsens now knew
they held no power over the firelance divison and so they sided with
the vinci in a final effort to drive the fire assassins from vendexa.
On the battle feild where the war that lasted 43 years would end...
There an army of the Larsens mounted atop acklay weilding long pikes
and energy sheilds stood atop a hill over a long rolling grassland
surrounded by the deep and dense forests of vendexa...
To the far south the city of Shoreburg could be seen, it's beautiful
city walls and towering monuments, it's buildings held the apperance to
the kermilin in red square.
To the north was more feilds ending with more forest. The hill that the
Lasens ahd perched upon was all that kept the Approching firelance army
from walking into the capital city of Shoreburg where rethius himself
was marching out of with his scythe in hand an a long regime of
marching vinci garo behind him in single file marching from the city
entrance up to the hill top, about two miles away.
The vinci knew that this was going to be the full strength of the
firelances, and that victory here would crush any dreams the firelance
shemulek had of victory.
The vinci foot soilders set up logs around the hill and kneeled down
behind the stacked logs peeking thier pulse grinadiers over the logs;
thease were similar to blaster rifles.
It was now dusk and the firelance army was spotted before they were
even heard, thousands of them, to have thousands of skilled warriors
that close to you knowing that each wante dyou dead was terrifying...
And more so knowing that they had the strength to back up their wants.
Each walked so silently that the wind was louder then the entire
firelance army at the foot of the hill side. Luckly it was very steep
and the vinci and Larsens felt that they mgith have a chance because of
thier position. Neither side was wanting to make the first attack, but
as soon as rethius saw who was leading the firelances he rose up and
ordered a fire in a sudden burs without any warnning. the larsens
figured now or never and charged down the hill with pikes foward and
energy sheilds held close. They denceded upon the fire lance army
shooting heads open with their pikes which slammed through their lines.
The vinci began firing and were too picking off a few, but the
assassins were great at ambush and some managed to get in the ranks of
the vinci and began slaughtering them from inside their own
fortifacation. Rethius himself drew scythe and began dispatching any
firelance who stepped inside the hill top defence. Down bellow it was
chaos Speeders swooped in armed with cannons and began attacking the
firelance amry but event hen their supperior numbers were able to
destroy and overwhelm most any force of retaliation...
In about one or so hours the vinci were lsoing their hold ont he hill,
even with air support they had a difficult time holding back the
firelance assassins, because they too had developed fighters to combat
the vinci ships.
Then Victor climbed to the top of the hill where he met eyes with
rethius in a death glare. Victor wore the firelance flag about his
shoulder like a cape, it was red with black diamonds patterend over it
like a deck of cards, but it was even more red now from the blood
splattered upon it... The two ciricled each other before in a sudden
burst leaping at one another and slamming their scythes together in
fierce combat, both toke deep wounds from this, days went on and finaly
the two were so tired they could hardly stand, the armies both remained
but both sides couldn't continue fighting... Early the nest morning
both sides had left before the other awoke...That is still a mystery,
if you ask the firelances they would say that they stayed ont he feild
after the vinci left, and if you ask the vinci, they will state that it
was the firelances who ahd left before they awoke... Either way by the
time one of the sides awoke, the other was gone.
Both sides figured they should leave fearing that the enemy had the
upper hand in this war, and thus all three civilazatiosn left the
planet and scattered over the galaxy for years until they were reunited
on lok by rethius who declared himself Shemulek of the Vinci, and his
general victor, Shemulek of the firelance assassins, and his advisor
granith abdul, Shemulek of the Larsens. But it was unaminusly decided
that this new empire's emperor was none other then rerthius cettle I
who was by blood related to the emperor raze II who was the son of
Emperor raze I, who was son of Empress Marquee III, who was daughter of
Emperor Cid I, who was the son of Empress Marquee the II who's sister
was Empress marquee the I but was assassinated by Empress Marquee II so
that she would be the nest emperess of the garo... But the Father of
Empress Marquee the I, was none other then Emperor Sezrenade who first
established the imperal order of vendexa under garo banner centruies
before the dusk civil war.

The garo are pale humanoids who don't normaly grow to be taller then
six feet at max, they have four slider fingers and one thumb just as
humans, their skin lack's pigment and is a sickingly pale white, even
to the degree that you can always see their capularies throguht the
surface of their skin. This is why they are always clothed compleatly,
they always wear gloves and don't like to show much skin. Their mask
can be removed by unstrapping four head strabs and on neck strap, the
eyes of a garo are thin and resemble that of a serpants eyes. therir
hair color comes in one shade, brown, and is often slick and strong.
The most frightening appearance of a garo's face if not for his corpse
like skin and serpant like eyes, it is his canines and carnasiales
which are found in his mouth, their mouth is one full of fangs and thus
they don't like opening it alot around other species as it is like
looking into the mouht of an opee sea killer. This is also why they use
their voice enhancer equiped to their mask, this way they hardly have
to open their mouth to make words.
Although it is not proven, many theorise that the garo are decndants of
the ubese who upon their arrival to the galaxy got mixed up on vendexa,
this is asumed because much of the garo attributes are very similar
to the ubese. Though this is only a theory and has not been proven.
Their uniuqe mask also allows them to breath in space out of the high
amoutns of carbondioxide and methane, indeed they actualy prefer that
kind of air over normal oxegyn, but they can handle them all, but
cannot breath under water, and in fact they hate the water.
The garo religon is based around the force being a godly power, but to
them the fact that simple mortals like dark jedi, sith, and jedi dare
to call upon this power for personal gain disgusts the garo and int
heir eyes anyone who weilds theis ability is worthy of death. So thye
have invested into finding ways to kill force users spesificly, this
includes taking the skin of a yalismiri and turnning it's hide into
leather armour from a skilled tanner, most garo officals and train
firelance assassins use this armour to litteraly blot out the force.
They have also experemented with ko'ral slugs and have come up with a
few plans of sort, none of which are known as of yet, but reports of
genetic splicing have been guessed.
"Lok is a fortification that would make emperor cid I proud" Rethius
once remarked as he looke out at his large industrial hub in the main
canyon where the garo capital of Limblum was founded, and it truely is
a fortification I am sure cid would glorify.
The planet lok is now a stronghold ever since Victor lakota eliminated
all other minning facilities and settlements on the planet and claimed
it in the garo name, now today it is a thriving millitary base with two
major cities each about the same size of Iziz on onderon. (before the
mandalorians attacked it, lol)
Thease cities are Limblum; tha capital and founding city. And
Persipolis, A largely industrial sector and full of factories and
defense turrets.
Limblum on the other hand too has a large industrial sector and has
it's fair share of defensive structures including several stronghold
bunkers, sheild generators are undergoing construction still but
probaly will be established some time in the future. Limblum however
has a larger civil and commerical status over Persipolis. And a new
settlement on way is Krach'Dul, which is undergoing construction in a
further section of the planet, but bettwen thease major cities are many
millitary outposts and trainning camps aswell as underground bases and
labratories, in fact there is rumor of a underground tunnel system
being cunstructed about a mile or so under the earth, here millitary
opperations as well as silos can be built and easiely defended.
There is also three Large space ports in Limblum and one in Persipolis,
and two ship yards in persipolis and only one in Limblum.
The nicest thing about the way garo manufacturors and the goverment
works is that the goverment doesn't have to pay anything for
construction of weapons and such, any factories making parts for ships
or weapons are instanty goverment property, most of the factories are
manned by droids anyway. Citezins pay taxs to the goverment in order to
live safely from the republic or any other nation, in turn the garo
empire will rpotect any offical citizen who lives on lok wether or not
they are garo in blood. Registering to be a citizen is pretty easy
actualy, you have to be approved but once you are all of your basic
needs are free, as a citizen you pay nothing for your basic necessities
such as enough food for the day and a place to sleep, everywhere in the
city is public but not everywhere outside of the city or roads which
connect the cities are public, for obvious reasons. there are no
elections or senate, like I said the garo are a despotisum and have
three shemuleks (or despots) and one emperor who out rules the toher
two shemuleks. Laws and so forth are simpley this, treason is
punishable by death. Simpley that.... However treason includes murder
of another citizen rape of another citizen, assulting another citizen,
robbery of another citizen and vandalisum of any property without the
go ahead of a shemulek or court offical. thease are all veiwed as
treason because a citizen is now appart of the empire, and anyone who
attacks that citizen is attackint the empire, thus any crimes aginst
imperal buildings or citizens no matter the extream is simpley
punishable by death.
Cruel as it seems, you may notice no one dares to do this stuff on lok
because of how extream the law is, and thus there are little if any
problems with civil control. But if you are a good citizen you have
nothing to fear and will enjoy your life on lok, for starving is not a
problem because rations are divided among the nation, you may choose to
buy more food if you wish it, but if you don't have any nova crystals
then you can always trade goods for goods which is the most commen way
of currency anyways.
Also labor costs nothing for the goverment and this is why the garo are
able to quickly build an empire and a successful one at that. The
imperialisum makes it so that all of the materials for weapons and
tools are mined from lok itself, and thus why would anyone need to
purachse fromt he republic or anyone else when all the rawl goods are
at your disposal... The vinci are veiwed as socialists in this case and
the Larsens Capitalistic, as for the firelanceers, they are despotic,
thus all three nations and their ideas have come together and formed

live safely from the republic or any other nation, in turn the garo
empire will rpotect any offical citizen who lives on lok wether or not
they are garo in blood. Registering to be a citizen is pretty easy
actualy, you have to be approved but once you are all of your basic
needs are free, as a citizen you pay nothing for your basic necessities
such as enough food for the day and a place to sleep, everywhere in the
city is public but not everywhere outside of the city or roads which
connect the cities are public, for obvious reasons. there are no
elections or senate, like I said the garo are a despotisum and have
three shemuleks (or despots) and one emperor who out rules the toher
two shemuleks. Laws and so forth are simpley this, treason is
punishable by death. Simpley that.... However treason includes murder
of another citizen rape of another citizen, assulting another citizen,
robbery of another citizen and vandalisum of any property without the
go ahead of a shemulek or court offical. thease are all veiwed as
treason because a citizen is now appart of the empire, and anyone who
attacks that citizen is attackint the empire, thus any crimes aginst
imperal buildings or citizens no matter the extream is simpley
punishable by death.
Cruel as it seems, you may notice no one dares to do this stuff on lok
because of how extream the law is, and thus there are little if any
problems with civil control. But if you are a good citizen you have
nothing to fear and will enjoy your life on lok, for starving is not a
problem because rations are divided among the nation, you may choose to
buy more food if you wish it, but if you don't have any nova crystals
then you can always trade goods for goods which is the most commen way
of currency anyways.
Also labor costs nothing for the goverment and this is why the garo are
able to quickly build an empire and a successful one at that. The
imperialisum makes it so that all of the materials for weapons and
tools are mined from lok itself, and thus why would anyone need to
purachse fromt he republic or anyone else when all the rawl goods are
at your disposal... The vinci are veiwed as socialists in this case and
the Larsens Capitalistic, as for the firelanceers, they are despotic,
thus all three nations and their ideas have come together and formed
the garo empire and a great resource gather and mass production rate.</div>
